"Stocking Stuffing" Christmas Preparation Event Strategy

How would this be easy for those who don't have product goods in their barns to fulfill the Enchanted winter event? That's not me but it just struck me as a little harsh to require so many high end products to get those extra drops.

Anyway I'm underway with fields planted for the first harvest. I don't mind the long grow time as I have a ton of stuff to do during the day and I don't have to check in again for quite sometime.

I'm also working on the timed portion of Crystal Falls (playing catch up) at the same time so I'm kind of glad Baha is not included. I might change my mind if I can't finish this event though.

That would be the quest. Not the event. The quest has never been rated easy. The event has. Two different thing. And the part of the quest that's related to the event is easy to do.

Gardengal - The FAQS do not explicitly say 2 cloud rows from the gifts, but it is inferred. I haven't opened all of mine yet. Anyone else seen this yet?

 

Gardengal - the Christmas Eve Magic Stalk Row is rewarded as part of the current event. The other 2 cloud rows (Christmas Gift Magic Stalk Row and Merry Christmas Magic Stalk Row) are gifts from the last big gift under the tree (white boxes in the green squares). Hope this helps.

 

Actually the 2 CR's are found in the 4 Green Presents (squares with +'s on them) at the bottom of the event screen. & you'll find the givers for the cloud rows hiding in Park & Shipwreck Bay or wherever you put them.

what a wonderful X-mas gift.
For the event, as usual, do in mix farming, not torn all my field for event crop.
So far drops got over 300(include 85 from quest), still had 5 days..look it will be OK.

I nearly fall in the trap like illy when I want to open the seal, then my fan tell me that
she just as illy open the seal after she found that she had to open two more statues
for the feed. So, I change to open the feed requirement first. When my GB go back to
safe level, I will open the seal.
I always keep 250GB stock on hand as I don’t know if BP sudden got something really
good to temp me to spend GB. Of course, that’s not about the new plant & animals

 

Oh, I am so jelly, Dnin - 250 GB just sitting there! That would open all my remaining statues!

I am saving up all my Farm Coins for the bumper pack of 50 GBs ... saving them, ah ah, not me lol!

 

gardengal, what % are your trophies combined at? illy, I had quite a few GB's saved and then I went and opened the "Seal" Ouch!! that took a chunk getting everything opened Drops seem to be ok. I might just use 2 fields for the event crops and keep 1 field planted with longer crops.....although 9 1/2 hrs seems long enough I keep getting logged out even in the middle of harvesting stopped counting after the 4th or 5th time

 

So far, the drop rates are better than normal for events. Yay! I'm about half way through and got my gift cloud rows up and running. That was fun...finding all those givers on my fields of givers. You should have seen me - glasses off, face 3 inches from my computer screen pointing and looking...yeesh. At least I still had them all - they were just all out - on both farms!

Did anyone else notice that the gifts we gave to get the present-goodies were the ones we made in the last event? Mine got a lot of blue round boxes - I opted for wheel spins almost every gift.

 

@dafodily Yes this is correct! I only have 1 CR though, even though I received both, I only have 1. If I can't find it by end of event, I'll contact support.

EDIT! I found both, I was confusing the Christmas Eve Magic Stalk Row for one of the others! I have both Christmas Gift Magic Stalk Row and the Merry Christmas Magic Stalk Row.

 

The sad sad moment when you realize you only have a couple of the givers needed for the gift CR's.

I suppose that's what I get for not playing for months though. I'm sure at some point in the future I will be given the opportunity to buy the missing ones.

 

Oh No..... I unlocked the tree and I also unlocked the lights using ornaments and it shows nothing accomplished other than the usage of ornaments. It even says Zero Unlocked.... What am I doing wrong, that's 110 ornaments I believe that just went poof for no reason. Wow!

ps. my apologies, I realize now that using the ornaments is only part of the deposit, it requires the event plant in addition to unlock that item. Wow I really am slow to catch on... Once again I'm feeling a bit frazzled with the upcoming holiday! The excitement here is building and we all love Christmas! Yay! Have Fun everyone!

 

woohoo I just got my cloud row up and running at 1AM Eastern time now to get it on my other farms good luck everybody

 

being a mix type farmers & not willing to torn field,
win a +200% harvest on wheel, although only 12hr help alot.
I had finished the event crop grow, now only left 5 decorate.
finally I could now grow something else. And put out those wonder stables
and tree on field.

Forget: got another lobster from cate, nit bad, not penguin, but at least it is a lobster
other than remains

 

Just finished this event on both farms, so if any of my nabs and friends read this... pls send to others in need of drops any drops meant for me!

My other farm got the cloud row up and running this morning. I'm still 3 away from that, but this should be my last round of the event crop. After that it's just getting the drops. The other farm is ahead since it got two +1s off the farm wheel yesterday morning. This farm, no such luck.

Hope everyone is toasty warm. Our temps are headed for the deep freeze here in Montana...but we're having a white Christmas!

 

I have completed all Event Crops this morning. I got the Cloud Row unlocked plus two Daily Giver Cloud Row unlock but not got all of Daily Givers for complete two Cloud Rows ?

I am from London it is very warm for Christmas this year 14 C. One of warmest Christmas for a while. Wish it was going to be a White Christmas oh well perhaps next year

 

Cloud row up and running. A few more drops and those shiny BBs are mine.

Mooboy, it's been warm here in Chicago too - from 4 - 15 C. That's very unusual for us. . .and no snow, yet. Weather guys say we'll get 2-4" of snow tomorrow and then temps will really drop. Time to pull out the woolies.

 

Completed 13/15. definitely faster than I expected. probably will be done with this event by tomorrow
