New event FAQ just posted within the last hour! My brain is too mushy to even think of trying to hobble this together, so I'm going to leave it to the brainiacs who do such a wonderful job.

Trying to organize this one is interesting - Here we go! Please feel free to check my work.
My goal was to keep this at a simple level of requirements.

In order to complete the event you will need to do the series of FSQ - New Year Bash I - V
New Years Bash I will need to be completed in order to open II - IV
II - IV will need to be completed in order to do V
Rewards from those tasks are needed for New Years Bash V
All steps of each FSQ have to be completed to gain CR.

No drops and No milling needed.

2 Event Crops - Can be grown on all fields except Crystal Falls
    9500 Snapdragons 4hrs
    6250 Coralroots 8hrs

New Year Bash I will require Barn donations
    200,000 Crops
    400,000 Animals
    900,000 Trees
650,000 of any combo of Trees, Crops, and Animals

Seems a barn clearer to start off with.

After todays events and BP saying cant/wont do anything after I opened yesterdays gift and its my fault Im out of this one and maybe give up on game cant do with bad customer service, when clearly it was nothing to do with me

Sorry to be negative I wish everyone well with this event and well done in anticipation to those who complete event. I will still help my neighbours with event gifts

When the BP team named this event ''The Great New Year Robbery" I would've considered doing this event just because of the wit. Pity this one is way out of line when it comes to requirements and time versus rewards and prizes offered. Even the givers on it's own aren't worth going for. I like jokes but going for this event is too bad for words. Such a bummer right after the lovely Xmas events.

My strategy and advice: Stay away from this event. Gather around with the ones you like and love and have a real party for celebrating the arrival and start of the year 2018.

Wishing all fellow farmeramafarmers the very best last days of 2017 and a year 2018 filled with love, care, smiles and good health.

See you around next year, keep smiling!

I don't have enough donations for the event quests and since we have to finish the quests in order to finish the event, I'm out. Some of the rewards are okay but the CR is not too terribly great anyway imo; those combined don't even seem to equal all the donations we'd have to give. I've been working on other important quests that are taking every single crop, tree fruit, animal, & product I have as I go so I wouldn't be able to do this one even if I wanted to. Good luck to those who participate & if you have a ton of extra donations to give, then have fun!

Like any other barn burner events, I am giving this a skip since the cloud row is nothing special. Will be aiming for party spins and power feed though.

A bit disappointing and I have a hard time not doing most events but I can't see any real reason to do this one. No great prizes to be had and I'm trying to stock the barn at the moment not empty it.

Good luck to all those that go for it though. :)

When I was putting together the info for this thread - I was trying to decide if I wanted to do this one. I think I will sit it out and build up my barn instead. The CR isn't very enticing for the barn contributions required.

    Good Luck to all participating.

This looks like fun with the different levels, and the givers are cute, but my farm stock is too low, and need more feed. My plan is to look it over again, but not sure, I think I will have to sit this one out. Good Luck to everyone. :)

I didn't read the FAQ properly, so thank you all for your very valuable inputs. I hate skipping an even and I hate barn drainers. I haven't decided yet, but leaning towards the skip.

Happy holiday season, and a happy new year for those who have new years now. Peace & Love to you all :inlove:

I have enough stock to do the event and using Baha donations instead of mainland, the amount required is not a hard hit. I can replace the donations without trouble. However, I don't want to rip up the farm to plant all the event crops and want to work on other stuff for my farm. So...I, too, am skipping. Good luck to those going for it. Nice that we don't have to worry about drops.

Phoenix! I read your tech issue...
I Just started an inquiry into mine...one 'locked' overnight and I cannot open the final boxes, it's been a couple of hours since and no one has answered. I too have logged in everyday and this was a surprise since I was dilligent to participate every day.

    200,000 Crops
    400,000 Animals
    900,000 Trees
650,000 of any combo of Trees, Crops, and Animals
for eggnog and fruit cake? no pens or seedlings.
    I'll pass on this

Earlier i was on the Fence weather to do this event or not. I am not happy with such meany prizes in terms of huge amount of Donations of Crops, Animals and Trees.

I am skipping this Event completely. It is the worse NYE Event from Farmarama. Instead i am going to work on the Latest Quests that gives more meaningful rewards.

Brilliant Fireworks is an old reward which i already got. The Cloud Row not worth it for me. As i got Cloud Row or two than gives free spins anyway from Crate Rewards CR..

Just very disappointed with this event >:(

I see all you wise farmers who refuse to throw all your hard earned stock into the big hole and I think that maybe I should follow your example - but I can't resist an event. Plus an event that doesn't require any drops or any milling! I'm hooked! :p

Seriously though, I am off for a few days after a tough working schedule last week and there's an event on and there's an "r" in the month and there's some GBs and PF in there and when have I ever been logical and ... and ... and ... who am I kidding, no excuses, I am in! xD

Good going all those who can resist and good luck all those are with me on this crazy magic carpet ride! ;)

All the very best to everyone for 2018. Wishing you all health, wealth and happiness! :)
