Sorry to hear about Dilly. Thank you for sharing her photo with us - she is beautiful. I am glad you were with her and that she had a peaceful passing. Saying goodbye to our furry friends is always hard. Hugs to you, Karen.

Thank you all for your lovely words... It has been hard saying goodbye to Dilly but she did pass so very peacefully but leaving a massive hole in my heart...
Today I have finally got back to looking at reindeer messages/taking photos etc...
Bury my head for a few days before I start answering booking requests etc...- turned down a wedding booking for December for a high profile Porn Star.... Oh boy last year had Judge Rinder Show wanting us and then this year a porn star.... Must look at my target audience! Mind you if I accepted that wedding booking I wouldn't have needed to pay for handlers... I could have charged a fortune for anyone that wanted to accompany them... :) But we would have needed to be very careful with antler and all those expensive boob jobs!!! :)
Whoever said any publicity is good publicity was so wrong!
In the meantime, just happy reindeer shots on a cold January day. :)

My word Karen your reindeer are obviously getting very famous, but maybe not in all the right places lol! Love the picture.

Well Boris is certainly letting me know which girls aren't in calf... he's being an absolute stinker with Mischa and Lotte when they continue to cycle...
On a positive note I haven't seen him paying attention to Katya, Lexi or Twiglet and Elsa is still in with Frodo to keep him company so not sure there either..
Trying to look on the positive that maybe one or two may be in calf... but a very long shot:)
Had vet out again today to Frodo as I only just learnt that vet hadn't originally tested for Johnnes - he thought he was too young but I need hi tested.
Boris (castrate) in love with Mischa as she cycles - Just a lovey dovey/protective photo not what was happening all day :(

Has Boris tried to be a "naughty" boy with Mischa or was it just platonic!!

Ohhh yes... both with Mischa and Lotte.
Reindeer girls cycle about every 20 days but only for about 24 hours... Boris has "ridden the storm" with both :( Only shared cutie photos but both girls are definitely not in calf!!! :(
But fingers crossed for the others. Either they have stopped cycling or are pregnant...
Not sure but Boris is proving my negative pregnancy test! :(

    8) Boris is more accurate than the vet. Did you ever tell him he is shooting blanks? :music:

How is Gandolf with Boris & the girls? Are Boris' antlers keeping Gandolf at bay? o_O Just curious what is Johnnes test about?

Shame you can't patent that :wuerg: well at least you know! :music: Frodo is another week closer to Spring & just MAYBE, maybe, maybe a daddy! ;)

Hope Hubby is mending well & deepest sympathies for your loss of Dilly Dog. She will always be in your heart & mind, so never truly gone. :inlove:

Gandalf and Boris are getting on fine (as long as Gandalf doesn't mess with Boris' "space" or the other big girls for that matter) but all working in my favour as I guard Gandalf at mealtimes by blocking any one trying to chase him off his food. This has meant Gandalf sees me as herd leader and trusts me beyond;) Quick fix of taming him! ;)

Gandalf and Frodo fighting through fence but can't share that photo atm as FB is struggling for some reason to host photos on "business" pages... Will try to share later but in the meantime another photo of today I managed to host elsewhere of Lotte and my comment that I am fed up of snow, ready for Spring now!

Hubby, I am hoping will be back to work tomorrow :(

Great picture of Lotte, you must admit the snow does make for a lovely picture!;)
I am glad Gandalf and Boris are getting along. It is also good that Frodo is feeling strong enough to
want to be territorial with Gandalf! I hope he continues to fight on! Fingers crossed your hubby
is on the mend and back to work tomorrow!

I have to agree.....the snow does make for a beautiful pic!!!!:music: I say that from a sunny day here in California. :pxD I'm sure if I lived in an area with snow....I'd be tired of it too.;)

Unlike others, I prefer snow virtual, beautiful pic. I think Lotte looks like she's hamming it up for the camera. ;)

Honestly, the pic of Boris is definitely postcard worthy, absolutely beautiful. :inlove:

Gandalf and Frodo having their own battle in "Middle Earth;)"

I have had vet out again to Frodo, and first results all negative for parasites etc. just have a week to wait for Johnnes results from lab. Fingers crossed. He's eating well, happy, bright eyed, playful, healthy (in his own way) but oh so skinny... Roll on April for his body clock to engage to say weight gain!!! :(
And another Boris photo, in snow.

    And Mischa

Loved the "battle" pic!!!!:inlove: Maybe having Gandolf around is spurning Frodo's success at thriving? Mischa sure looks happily plump!:music:

In other years I would be hopeful but I am certain Mischa (and Lotte) are not in calf this year:( She is obviously still cycling as not only is Boris playing "piggy back" but every 20 days (ish) Mischa is cuddling up to me and turning her tail... she isn't in calf unfortunately. :(

Darn! :(That's a shame! :oops:They've produced such adorable babies in past years. At least without new babies/births you can really focus on fattening up Frodo.:p
Is Gandolf feeling at home with his new herd? I read that he feels you are the leader of the herd...is he affectionate and friendly with you?
