The event looks great...but...the amount of resources as in plants and animals, might make it impossible for me to tackle. Especially following on the heels of a breeding event, where most of my animals have been depleted. Unless you are lucky enough to have oodles and oodles of stock on hand, or coins to buy required items. (and of course the availability of items in the market.) I may have to pass this one, even though the concept is another great one. Good luck to everyone though!

The requirements for this event were high. Coming on the heels as it did of several events that required a lot of resources from in the barn, a lot of people would have trouble with this event. However, the layout and the format are excellent. I very much enjoy the fact that we get some prizes within minutes of the event start, by donating out of the barn. This always puts players in a good mindset - everyone likes prizes. And more prizes could be gotten fairly quickly. I enjoyed that there are multiple strategies for playing this. I personally elected to skip the cloud row, as it doesn't offer a great deal for me at my stage of game play, and instead go for virtually unlimited amounts of PF and other prizes. All I have to do is grow the event plant and click. Love. The event concept is adorable; I love these sorts of scavenger hunt layouts. I love the chance, as always, to choose to a certain extent which prizes to go for. Altogether a thumbs up - make the out of barn contributions a little easier and it would get multiple thumbs.

Day 3 of this event, and generally I like it. Like -matselleste-, I liked being able to get my grubby little paws on fun gifts right away xD. The cheese wheels are lovely, and I like that we can choose to speed them up with event plants instead of BBs, that rocks. [IMG] Glad to be able to use Baha fields, always appreciated. Graphics and story are great. :inlove: A few cons, tho; I don't mind dual drops, we've done that before. But the overall amount of total drops needed is, to me, way too high, especially since there's a completely skewed ratio of one to the other. Even with maxed out trophies and LLR, it's proving extremely difficult to get the necessary magnifying glass drops. If the drop ratios could be adjusted for the remainder of the event, that would be greatly appreciated by all, I think. And I also agree with comments, both here and in strategy thread, that lately it's been one barn burner event after another, and with the way the markets have become, it's becoming more difficult to replenish our barns. This is causing frustration among players, and I'm noticing more and more farmers who NEVER pass up an event, doing just that. Just something to keep in mind. Overall it's a fun event to me, but will definitely be a nail biter as to whether I'll be able to finish completely, something that hasn't been a problem for me in a long time. Good luck everyone!

Like having the option of planting event crops or other crops to obtain needed drops because in this event you can trade in extra event crops on cheese wheels for PF, PS, etc.

Did not like that the higher level crops I planted did not result in a higher drop rate. Considering the amount of time it took to harvest them (3 times event crop) it was hard to recover from this. 1 farm finished with 5 minutes left; 1 with 15 minutes left and the 3rd was 3 milled items short of finishing.

Loving the cheese wheels and being able to speed them up with crops. It is really heavy on the resources, which is bad for low level farmers, but they can still do bits. The magnifying glass drop rate is a little gulp worthy so really it should be labeled hard. But I like the format and the graphics are great as usual so really enjoying this one.

Great event, shame about drop level for Magnifying Glass, especially as mill production time per item is quite long , means you need to have all resources well before finish time to complete !!! But guess forces peeps who want to complete to spend BB's buying them :)))) A shame would like a fighting chance to complete otherwise !!! Please take note , not all cash cows !

I'm liking most of this event especially the chees wheels & I liked the idea that I could donate event crops to speed them up if I wanted to. I also like that I could progress through to the cheese wheels with mostly barn requirement & I thought the exchanges were fair. The drop rate for soot is very good but I'm finding that is NOT the case for Magnifying Glasses. I work full time but usually find as long as I plant long crops during the week then work hard on the weekend growing the event crops it usually works out fine & I always end up with left overs. For this event I actually had a couple of days off so worked extra hard on all my farms but with less than 24hrs to go I'm doubting if I will get enough MGs to finish on this farm let alone my two lesser farms. This is based on the last two harvests of Gentiana & Chayote & now I have to grow a shorter crops over night & then plant one last harvest of my longest growing crops on all fields. And in my last harvest the drop rate for MG actually went down by about 40 drops across my farm. While I really don't mind spending BBs on items in the game such as Wonder Stables, etc I'll be somewhat disappointed if I have to spend them (I haven't decided yet) to finish this event especially after having done so much hard work.

Good luck to all trying finished  & to those who have well done 8)

Update on this farm: As expected with just over an hour to go I still needed 10 MGs to finish (so frustrating). What I didn't realise until last night was that breeding also gave MGs so my bad for missing that in the FAQ (& did explain the BB over the weekend). However, this is not the norm for a 'growing' event so I do believe it could have been called out a bit better. I personally only use my hard earned PF for breeding events so wouldn't have normally taken this road at all but in the end I hastily did some breeding to finish on this farm as well as my other two farms but do object having to go down this path when I feel I worked way hard enough to finish the event in the normal fashion. While there were loads of good features & options in the event it should have been labelled hard IMO as the drop rate for MGs took the shine off it for me somewhat.

I thought the soot would be a problem but it turns out to be the MG,i really feel with such a huge amount of drops needed the milling time should have been much shorter! to give us a chance of finishing the event! However it is nice we can use the crops to get extra rewards!

I enjoyed this event but do feel it should have been labeled hard instead of medium. I liked the variety of options where you could get good prizes and not have to fully complete the event. I liked being able to donate event crops to speed up the cheese wheels for extra prizes. I personally liked having the extra baby boom outside of a breeding event. It's not often that we do so it enabled me to work on some of my other breeding goals without having to breed specific animals for the event. With all the other sales going on it would have been nice to also have the option of buying power feed as well.

All that being said I can see how this event would have been frustrating for players without well stocked barns along with stocks of power feed and super grow. The drop rate for the magnifying glasses was really low unless you either used comfort fields or took the breeding option. Which made this event impossible to complete for anyone not using large supplies of power feed or super grow. Which brings me back to the fact it should have been labeled "hard".

madbs64, they usually don't have events that have a drop rate this horrendous. :p ;)

I certainly remember Snowed In, introduction of colored raccoons and disguise shop. Abysmal drop rates without having as many buffs and refinements to help like we do now.

I was only able to participate in this event a little bit. I, after all this time, only have enough drops to mill 20 tools to get one giver or the cloud row. At this rate, why bother? I am really disappointed in not being able to go further in events.

Three farms and it will be a miracle if any of them are able to finish this event. All had plenty of event crops and got the magnifying drops from breeding with the PF I got from Milkshake Bar but I am still short of drops to get enough milled tools needed to finish. I did long term crops on one farm and the drop rate was worse than that of the event crop considering it was 3 times as long to harvest.

The last minute problem with the Milkshake Bar not giving the PF traded for also didn't help.

I think I put in enough hours on this event that I should have been able to finish it.

One of my farms finished with 15 minutes left on the event timer; another with 5 minutes remaining and the third was unable to finish in the allotted time because it still needed to 3 milled items to finish.

If I didn't trade in excess crops for PF none of them would have been able to finish because breeding gave magnifying glasses. I liked that I could get the PF by trading in excess crops but I don't like that I needed to trade or buy baskets in order to complete the event.

I figured I would never be able to mill the required item for all the givers and cloud row as drop rate was terrible, sooo I went with only opening the cheese wheel for PF (power feed for those that do not know the abbreviations - like me!). I grew what crops I could and kept using the crops for the power feed cheese wheel- at least I got some power feed back after the last event that drained the power feed. ended up with over 120 PF from the cheese wheel so this event was merely OK.

Should of been rated as Hard not medium, would like to know percentage of people who have completed this so called medium event compared to similar rated events.
Magnifying Glass drops were totally unacceptable for this event.
