Viva Piñata!

I got a red elephant, a red peacock and a red bear (out of various levels of boxes, can't remember which ones were in which, sorry)
I'm particularly happy with the red bear as it looks really cute.

 

Congratulations Shimmer for getting all 3 red stables!! I agree with you about the bear, it is cute.

I got my bear at the beginning of the event, probably level one.

 

I got the special givers for completing level 6 of the quest...both farms. I went to put them out and there were these "piñata eggs"...they don't show up if you use farm equipment to plunk them down, but they are available under the little crate icon (subsection decorative items) on the left side bar. This farm got one, the other farm got two - so maybe the extra one is from one of the event crates? Anyway, they give crates of farm wheel spins, so get those babies out. You can never have enough wheel spins!

 

I sighted the light at the end of the cave yesterday and today I finished the event. 100% into the barn spin bonus helped me finish the event.

The crates still haven't given me anything worthwhile. Somewhat disappointed in them.

 

Completed Viva Pinata event yesterday & the diamond step of level 6 of FSQ . So took out workshops & put out 38 walnut, plum & mulberry trees each (all XXL or XL) to do gold step of 5th level. Waited till late morning to start timer & make 1st harvest, afraid I would sleep thru end of allotted time so turbo mulched trees this morning so I could make 2nd harvest tonight before heading off to bed. [Had thought I wouldn't have enough time before FSQ ended to do the diamond step.] After debating with myself all morning, decided to go for the diamond. Bit the bullet & bought another 62 walnut, plum & mulberry each, about 150,000 CC's (already had over 70 apple trees, XL & XXL) & planted in green meadow after evening's crop harvest. Will harvest other trees in magical glade in less than an hour to complete gold step, so will have required fruit tomorrow evening to complete FSQ! Those 25 PF were just too tempting 150,000 CC"s divided by 25 PF makes each PF cost about 6000 CC"s. I was selling poo @ 1750 CC's yesterday So each PF costs about 4 POO .

My biggest debate was about the turbo mulch. I did not want to be low on TM with the Moonlight event starting near the beginning of Feb. & not knowing how long it will run. Needing so much Nightgleam Orb & Creepy Willow Leaf both as donations themselves & for feed, I TM them the entire time the Moonlight fields are active. Without much time to restock TM between this event & the moonlight event, I was afraid to use too much. But I only needed about 110.

As far as those crate rewards, other than 5 PF from one of my first 3 or 4 I opened, they've been really, really unspectacular!!!
My only stable so far ... a Hamster! Not a red, not an orange, not even a yellow ... a base level HAMSTER! I am so JELLY of those that got a Lion or Snail.

EDIT: Last crate I opened gave me 24 Farm Coins ...

 

I have fully completed the Viva Pinata Party and Nostalgia Timed Quest. The prizes for both of these are well worth it. All those Prizes helps, when it comes to doing events or quests.

Finished the Nostalgia Event too. Put the foxtail mallet in the fields for the next event tomorrow.

In future they say we will need lot of stars to unlock breeding runes in the wisdom tree. So its better to collect as many stars as possible.

I was growing and donating, growing and donating. Decided to make a tally of what I needed based on what is left to donate. I overgrew on some crops. I only need paper flowers and lollipop one on each farm to grow. I got lucky and have 200% for 12 hours on baw815. Only got a +1 for 6 hours on SadieBAW.

Edit: I got a falcon on baw815 and a red elephant on SadieBAW so far in the crate of winners.

I think I may be on to finish the FSQ tomorrow. I have 100 of the four trees in two fields, the product trees and workshops are in the Glade - it's just up to me to set the timer and harvest one lot and then repeat. Nothing can go wrong, right?

As for Viva Pinata, I have no idea. I am on Crate of Winners 3, I have one green light on number 7. Is this any good? We do have another three days but I am working this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon so I really only have two days to finish (or not as the case may be!).
I am quietly confident.

As for Frappe Ole, luckily I have been mainly using only the Baha fields for Viva Pinata so once I have finished the FSQ (or not - as above - as the case may be!), I will plant Gentiana and hope I can catch up with the crops.

So far, I have not had much of anything from the Crates of Winners I have opened. Still got another three days ...

I have Cloud Row and the pet egg! But still have a couple of steps to complete the overall event. No lucky spins gained to help out. I found I had to plant event crops in all 5 fields with CAC in order to get this far. I managed enough crops from my inventory - but barely. Buying 100 of them daily from the seed store helped. I should be able to complete all steps later today. Inventory needs to be built back up! My market has been a bit over inflated even for event prices.

Currently have level 5 Winner Crate. Haven't gotten anything exciting yet from them. Primarily CC. Always can use them!

 

Completed Nostalgia too! Now, I'm running against the clock to finish Piñata What held me back was my poor planning, so I'll have to use carnations instead of four-leaf clover for Frappe Ole, because of my refinements. Better later than never, good luck to us all!

 

crates so far gave CC, farm coins, super grow. Kind of blah so far.

Just level 11 and 12 to go now. No luck on spins for harvest.

Thinking I will put gentiana in the fields for the next event later today. I will use Baha fields if necessary for the current event.

 

Once again got Turbo Mulch from the crate.

Okay, FSQ done! Got the brain working in the right order towards the end!

Now, with another afternoon of working, I am hoping the next two days are enough to at least get the CR if not finish the event - plus start the new event! Boy oh boy, no chance to get bored!

about my progress on this event... got CR but didn't use it yet....all chars level 12 but last one... it should be there in a few hours...i didnt keep track of what all i won... maybe i need to do that....
