Incurable skimmer, am I, not very good at reading things thoroughly, lol. That's why I depend so much on everyone here, to save me from my own foolishness.

 

I skim-read FAQs too, always have cuz we always have these oh so awesome strategy threads to rely on, (TYSVM everyone!!!! )... but ultimately I blame BP for my laziness cuz they are always moving faster than we can keep up lol.

Not sure how I will tackle this one... some of the prizes pull me in, but with manure prices not getting a chance to recover again this time I'm not sure how far I'll go, or want to go or put in the labor of going. Until I max out at level 200 on the mainland tho, I am still feverishly chasing EP and all the new crops... but the other hit and miss rewards along the way getting to my goal are just fluff . I still have not depleted my hoards from the last Carnival Queen, and since another is coming (tho be it different this time) I'm really not hurting for any of the event rewards... yet, my EOCD still tugs and tugs at me UGH

What a conundrum

 

Is there any product that can give +1 fruit from trees? For farmerama not the island.
I did a stupid move and now I still need 1 egg to finish the last task.

 

Arielh, only one I know if is Suzy's, it adds +2.

 

I agree with baw815 about the suzy's plus 2. With just under 4 hours to go, it might be possible using a red egg farm (if you have or can build one), powerfeed, water, church bouquet with a gingerbread or guava jam. Good luck, that would be so frustrating...been down similar paths myself.

Since I like to know how much I'll need of everything in advance, I did pre-set plans for all 10 steps and thought I would share
my results:

Straight pipes =219 x 22 Pipe bamboo = 4818
219 x 2 wrenches = 438
Bent pipes = 183 x 28 Pipe bamboo = 5124
183 x 3 wrenches = 549

TOTALS:
9942 Pipe Bamboo
987 Wrenches

Math is not my strong suit, so if anyone sees any errors, please let me know. Have fun everyone!!

 

Thanks m_adele12. Maths is not my strong suit either. I will take your numbers and use them as guidelines. So round off it is 10,000 crops & 1000 drops. I will bear that in mind.

Thanks m_adele12. I referred to my notes on this event which was previously held from 23/29.11.17 and I had completed 10 steps with 10136 crops and 1016 drops. The requirement of brown pipes previously was 6 and present it is 7 otherwise other requirement remains same.

 

Ouch, Ariel, that smarts! Hopefully you'll be able to finish the last task since they extended the time on the mini quest. Great to see you again!

176 wrenches first harvest

 

I remember last time with figuring out which pipe to mill and I screwed up twice! and the drop rate was baaad.
No one did the ballpark figures so it's grow and grow...
Like Baw I'm not after the ep anymore , just goodies and CC. I told myself I'd stop at 100 CR's but that was a long while ago.
Maybe just grow for the pens and supplies. My crops are creeping into 20+ hours each, thats a long wait for harvests and they're expensive to buy.

I did a simple spreadsheet to calculate the most efficient paths last time. This time it is simpler as the grids only offer star coins.
So far I've got the following 'best paths' according to my calculations:

Level 1 - Use the suggested route.

Level 2 - Pick up only the bottom left coin.

Level 3 - Red goes left 3, down, right, up 2, left 5, down
Yellow goes right 3, up 2, right 6, down 2

Level 4 - Red goes straight up.
Yellow collects both coins.
Chocolate collects the right hand coin.

Level 5 - Suggested route but don't collect the left most red coin.

Level 6 - Suggested route for yellow, shortest possible route for the others.

Level 7 - Suggested route

Level 8 - Suggested route, then remove the loops for the bottom chocolate and right hand red coins.

Level 9 - Suggested route

Level 10 - Suggested route.

Please let me know if you think any other routes are more efficient, or if you need any of the paths clarifying!

 

This is second time doing this event. As Shimmer pointed out we only can gain Star Coins from this event. As you can gain more star coins than the last event. But we have more Star Coins to Spend in the store to get many other prizes.

This is an Suppose to be an easier event, Not really still need same amount of Pipe Bamboo and Wrenches to mill X number of Straight Pipes and X number of Bent Pipes, using the same three fields.

We can plumb our way through 10 levels up to three times, once you reach level 10 it then reset back to level 1, same as last time

So i just grow as many Pipe Bamboo as i can it will be at least 10,000 of them to see where it will get me at. But keep some in my barn just in case need to grow more of them, just to be on the safe side

don't feel to bad codyj and bobchac ive been playing almost 8 yrs and I'm only level 99 too

 

Did anyone try the Pinata plants to see if they gave good drops? Especially the Paper Flower with 256 EP? I am growing them on Baha since they give more TEP than my other crops. Need more GB! I cleared them off the main fields in favor of refined carnations. It might be an option for drops! May try after the next harvest...
