One of my favourite event and I am glad we get all other rewards like PFs, SGs etc... Its a fun to catch these rewards instead of just catching star coins & candies and the other rewards are useful for the game too.

The amount of useful rewards like powerfeed, supergrow, suzy supergrow, Turbo mulch showered by the monkey queen is very very low & if this rate continues, there is no point in playing the mini-event after the necessary 36 rounds. Very disappointing & the mini event rewards are not worth 25 baskets & 250 roses. Nor worth our time & energy. The scanty rewards have taken the life out of this event. I feel no worth in playing after 36 rounds. Disappointed. Its a CARNIVAL Event. That has been forgotten.

There should not have been the milling item. Just plain basket drops to play the mini game. If prizes have been reduced, then atleast we should have been allowed to play more number of mini games. Instead 250 crops for one mini game is too much. To get 100 star coins you need to play atleast 5 mini games (taking 20 star coins per game (which might be even less actually). So you need 1250 crops. That is more than/around one harvest of all 3 fields full of event crops. With that 100 star coins what would I redeem ? Nothing much. Even the supergrows I use for one round of harvest will not be replenished. 119 star coins give me 50 super grow. Will it be enough for 3 fields f 2x2 plots ? At least if the monkey queen was generous, it will not be a loss for me. But now I am the looser in playing the game. Above all my time & energy is wasted. Just think of how much real life time we allocate to play this game every day. How much break we take from our real life work schedule to log in every day. That should not go belittled. Not happy at all.

 

I wish it was Carnival Queen all year round!!

 

I will most probably skip the bunny love event for the Carnival Queen. The requirements for the bunny love seem too high for me. I am really excited for the Carnival Queen event.
Welcome back Carnival Queen , I hope to get lots of goodies. Never been excited about any other event as much this one .

 

A lot of differences this time... I'm a bit concerned that the amount of rewards we can collect will be drastically throttled down (due to the requirements for flower baskets), compared to the last 2 Carnival Queen events

 

The return of a favorite. This may make me unpopular, but I am liking the shorter amount of time for each round. It keeps things from getting as monotonous. I also like that we have to grow the event crop to get the candy baskets - so we are more in charge of how much we can do, rather than it being luck. I do think, however, that the amount of event crop needed per basket is outrageous for a six hour crop. Most people will find that too long to harvest more than once during the work day, and too short to put in comfort fields for the daytimes. Thumbs down on that part. Also why not let us use all five fields? That would make things go faster and easier.

I miss the float decorating but am so glad to be able to get on with the collecting that much faster, so I have to say I like this format best Graphics are not as fancy as last time, but still cute. Prizes do seem a little thinner, overall, but the time per go is shorter, so if we can grow enough crops to get the baskets, it should work out about even I suppose.

 

Well done BP, all the pre event excitement disipated by the so called improvements. Reduced time is fine but...............
In fact it is much worse. Why do we need the candie if no use during event, prizes are pathetic.
Come on BP dont build an event up only to be spoilt by your stinginess.

Did we have to grow stuff for the carnival queen before? I thought we just needed baskets, but now we have to grow crops for the baskets and use mill time to make the "right" basket. I agree also that too many event crops are needed for each basket but I guess BP thought too many people were getting too much free stuff too easy....in keeping with the shortening of the rounds and the thinning of the rewards, it just all feels disappointing to me, and now very difficult to get anything in the shop; for my first "free" basket I got a total of 4 candy coins.

 

Admit not as many goodies as last time, but am happy that get Floral baskets in the thrown items, have milled 18 baskets so far but with collected baskets I am on level 28, so they are giving away more chances to collect , even though less amounts Enjoying so far, and glad to see Baby Boom is back tomorrow as well as the Deluxe Pheromones , could be a fun weekend breeding ))

 

After 30+ games, I don't have much positive feedback to leave about this event. The changes you guys made to it have made it barely worthwhile to play. You went too far with your greed for sales of PF, SG, SSG and throttled it down way too far. You took all the fun and gain out of this version for those of us who look fwd to this event every time. It used to be a reward to us farmers, now it's just another stingy event.


Cons:
Baskets require too many crops and drops
HUGE decrease on the amount of baskets we can catch goodies with
Drop rate is garbage, even with 2 Baha fields adding to the totals
Too much work and struggle to get a few measly rewards within a short 15 seconds, of mostly CANDY being tossed
The limits in the shop should not be there

Edit~ One more con:
The CR and givers are less than desirable


Pros:
The option to buy Deluxe Pheromones with Star Coins (but it is limited to just 5 batches of 20)
Edit~ Deluxe Pheromones were a waste of Star Coins!!!

Bring back the original version of the Carnival Queen!!!

 

Last year's graphics were way better than this year. This year it feels a bit generic and as if it was rushed. I miss the monkey queen & the decorating of the floats aspect. I can't speak on prizes caught yet because I'm waiting till I have all the roses I need before I start milling & playing, so I'll be back to edit this after that. But from what I'm reading from others, I'm worried.

 

I'm very disappointed in the Monkey Event this time.
Few rewards. Last time we had the opportunity to catch 3 GB's most rounds, I've hardly seen one this time and PF almost non-existent too
Cloud row very poor.
We all look forward to this event so much BP and now you have ruined it.

 

I dislike the Monkey Queen Mini Game this time, the duration was much shorter and much to fast to work out what we like to catch.

The Number of Candy Throw at us is way too much. I am disappointed with lack of Balance of Suzy Super Grow,Suzy Super Mulch. Power Feeds and Super Grow.

In the Carnival Main Shop why is Caramel Catupult cost 229 Star Coins, Pirate Parade cost 299 Star Coins and X Marks the Spot at 259 Star Coins in the FAQ they are 89, 119 and 109 Respectively

I am not happy to mill event crops needed to mill Floral Candy Baskets. The last two events we only needed drops for candy baskets. As Two events need both Sweetheart Roses. It put pressure on us to do one event or the other

The best thing that is worth getting from Carnival Shop is Deluxe Pheromones

I always look forward to the Monkey Queen event, what a let-down

 

First off I agree that 250 crops to mill is far to high for less than 20 start coins per round. we only had 3 fields to use.. yes way to high. But i have to give BP credit for giving us this fake MQ event. It is easier to get too. Now if BP wishes to do both MQ's events each year then i am all in. But PLEASE BP keep the real MQ also. I was slow building them floats last time.(was my first MQ event).. but working towards them goodies was way to much fun. Even though you always had events that made us use them goodies to give back to the game... So I got to ask you BP why such very very very low drops rate on them goodies?????? I just don't understand this. Now if we had a store within the event like the star coin shop to trade our candies and convert them to star coins to buy things, then this event could've been way better.

The only good things i can say for this event is that it was easy to get to , to start catching and we sometimes caught a free basket.

So BP again PLEASE keep the real MQ event. Add a store so we can convert our candies to star coins can make this fake MQ event better. Reduce the crops to mill also if you don't increase the star coins being dropped from float. or let us use all 5 fields next time.

 

You broke the carnival queen. I am happy for her to come around once a year and be really generous. So far she isn't throwing much interesting my way. I also hate the growing and milling aspect - just no. Last time I got to farm and enjoy a great event. There's a saying "if it isn't broken, don't fix it", seems to me like on this one BP needs to heed this advice.

 

Don't know why you would want to change this event as it was so successful in recent years. I'm not a fan of the milling at all nor having to have 25 baskets to make 1. It's tedious not fun. In the previous events it was a challenge to get to the queen and she rewarded you in abundance. That was so much more fun than this tepid watered down version.

 

If this replaces the Monkey Queen then I am totally disappointed. If on the other hand it is in addition to the Monkey Queen then it is an okay event.

To compare the two events. There was more PF, GB's etc. thrown from the Queen. I guess this Pirate Monkey likes to hold on to his loot.

I do prefer that you don't have to build the 3 sections of the float before the candies, etc. are thrown.

 

I have to agree..... this new Pirate Monkey is not even half as fun or rewarding as the original Monkey Queen!!!! I don't like the rain of candy! I want true rewards...pf, sg, gb's, ssg!!!!
BP please bring back our generous and highly sought after Monkey Queen!!!
