Initial feedback on this one... Thumbs down.>:(

This event is timed all wrong.... The Carnival Queen is a very much cherished and rare occurring event, and with this breeding event going on over the top of it, using the same crops for milled items.... is just crappy, and really throttles what we can gain from catching carnival goodies. We have to choose which to focus on, or live with the limit on both events as far as the rewards go that we COULD gain from each if they were not going on at the same time. Maybe that was your plan? -.-

IMO, this event should have been scheduled at another time, or at least had a different event crop that could have been grown on Baha fields instead of sharing the event crops and the available fields between the 2 events >:(

Seriously BP, I pay a LOT of RL money to play this game efficiently (premium, harvester, turbo mill etc), so your low blows with dual events set up this way leave a really bad taste in my mouth.

    Hello PeepsCA,

Just to clear up any confusion, the Sweetheart Roses used to make the Deluxe Pheromones are optional and not necessary to participate in the Bunny Love Event ;) so you can concentrate on growing the roses solely for the Carnival event :) I hope the Carnival Queen throws you some wonderful goodies and if you decide to breed, I hope your skips are generous :p

Yah, I know shooger. Thanks. Optional... or as in choose one or the other and miss out on something (better skips, deluxe pheromones, or carnival goodies). That's not how I pay to play the game tho ;)

If as I think drop level not going to be overly generous, then think if you have 3 main fields planted up with event crop, then you should have enough for 6 ish mill mixes for Carnival, equals 150 dropped candy baskets per crop!!! So think should have surplus event crop each time to mill at least a few Deluxe Pheromones as well :) Will see how the drop rate plays out and let you know later LOL

The amount of animals going to be needed for the Bunny event is ridiculous. I have never skipped an event other than when Hurricane Irma took out the power but I am not going to clean out all my breeding animals for this event. And having 2 events at the same time is becoming too much. It's getting to be a job rather than a fun game. Just too much for me this time and I'm level 125 .

Very glad that the amounts needed were reduced. I was able to get through it by just breeding animals & using the medals to finish the event. Didn't have to use any breeding animals at all.

I usually enjoy breeding events and this one doesn't rely on doing tons of breeding and therefore needing lots of PF - it can be done with barn stock and drops. I will be gauging how many medals I get before I donate anything.

But it is a shame that there are two events on at the same time -I can't afford the time to do both events to the extent I would like to and, as I have been waiting for the Carnival Queen to come back our way having missed out on her last visit, I will be giving Bunny Love second priority. :(

Just harvested all of my fields (no breeding yet) and my initial drops for Bunny Love medals are quite good (IMO). 42 x bronze, 24 x silver, and 13 x gold. I could do up to 'level' six on the bunny love bar with just a few animals thrown in (to make up 5000cc worth - twice). If the drops for this continues as it is, then I'll give this one a huge Thumbs UP! I've just ripped up my farm (after initial harvest) to do the Carnival event so let's hope the drops are as good for field crops as they were for my stables...

Overall, I think this will be a fairly easy event and thank you BP for making the medals a drop on the fields, not just the breeding!

    EDIT:
The Deluxe pheromones are a complete waste. I used the ones that we got during the carnival event and as many people have already said, received worse results than on normal breeding.

Almost got my second cloud row, I'm sure I'll be able to do so with the medal drops. Great event overall, even with the bad skips...

I got enough medals just from my first harvest to get through six levels! I think this is actually a great "gift" event - but the FAQ makes it look like a drainer again. IMO it would have been better to label it a "companion quest" and have it use just the medals. So for me, this gets a thumbs up, but the propaganda gets two thumbs down because it makes it appear that we HAVE to breed, OUGHT to use the same crops as the Monkey Queen, and HAVE to donate animals. As usual the graphics are a smile and the concept is timely.

Edit bc Brakenjan84's post came in while I was writing mine - I had entirely field crops and I got about the same amount of medals, so it looks like the drop rate on this is good overall!

I am revising my first feedback - the drops are great and I managed to get quite a long way up the levels after my first harvest. This was probably going to be my best harvest while the Carnival Queen is in town but I am very happy and feel much more positive about the Bunny Love event now! :)

I should have held back from posting feedback before the event started ... :p

Me too... I take back my initial complaining and whining... ty for the generous medal drops.

    Edit~
Just wanted to add that if it had not been for the generous medal drops coming from all 6 of my fields I would have skipped most of this event because the animal EV donation requirements were thru the roof .

Initially donated some animals (regular animals-not bred) before I saw Medals could be donated. Should have read event FAQ first. Working on Level 8 gift box and have not donated any colored animals.

Love this breeding event :inlove::inlove: I can breed whatever animal I want/need, and then donate medals instead. YES YES YE, great way of doing it. I haven't tested the better skip pheromone yet, waiting for a BabyBoom & PF sale. But if we could have more breeding events like this, breed for medals, I would be one happy doggie. :D Doing all those breeding quests suddenly looks achievable, and breeding once again fun.

The medal dropping from the fields are awesome too. If I could nitpick.. it would be great if the donation drop down menu started on the event-items, and not Breeding animals.

    But great breeding event! :music::music:

I'm kind of surprised by the feedback here, as I think the amounts needed for Bunny Love event levels are ridiculous. It seems easy at first, but once you get about halfway through, you realize how very difficult, if not impossible, it will be to finish.

All of the levels together require over 250 MILLION worth of inventory, and while the drop levels are good, that would require almost 1700 of the highest medals, so I'm pretty sure the drop levels aren't that good. And that many breeding animals would empty your barn of anything worth anything; the highest value animal in my barn right now is only valued at slightly over 2 million and I have two of those :p

Good luck everyone, is all I have to say, I suspect the 2nd cloud row is out of reach for most of us, even high level, players but time will tell.

Edit: after this post they changed the amounts required; now down to 50 million which makes a big difference on the finish-ability but I noticed that they made the change without any fanfare, because I'm sure it would have upset those who donated at the higher levels and it should. But it did make it easier to finish and for that I'm grateful.

I like the fact that event drops can be used instead of having to throw away more breeding animals. I have just reached half way and agree with Laurelei that the amounts past this are ridiculously high and even with drops and barn stock I'll still have to use some of my breeding animals and with skips being pathetic I'm not hopeful to finish. The event crop should be growable on Baha since it's the same one for 2 events and maybe I might like to mill some pheromones to see if they make a difference to the disappointment that has been my breeding results of late.

Just a FYI to everybody. Don't waste your crops on the new perfume bottles. I've used 4 on 4 different breeding animals (total 16 bottles) NO SKIPS!!! It's a waste of your crops for ZERO results.

I was surprised that I have been able to finish this event with plenty of time to spare. I like the rewards given. The stalk row rewards are not to my liking, but it is what it is. I do agree with Peanut regarding the deluxe pheromones and the lack of skips. On several occasions I used 4 deluxe pheromones on a base animal and didn't receive any skip. I can't see the purpose except to waste your crops.
So overall, you get to take the good with the bad, I guess.

Thanks for a great drop rate for any kind of the medals. Finishing the Bunny Love Event without any breeding or animal donation needed and having a bunch of medals leftover for conversion makes up for the disappointing Carnival Event.

Nice prizes and the medals were a very generous perk to this event, very much appreciated :music:... but you can keep your ridiculous deluxe pheromones -.- . Unless their effectiveness is improved 200%, I will not be using them in any future breeding events. I get better skip results breeding outside of a BBD! :wuerg:

I liked the little event just fine. Prizes were good if you were willing to breed to get those additional medals to reach the 2nd CR.

What I didn't like were the deluxe pheromones. I had worse results using them than I did with just regular breeding. I consider them to be a complete and total flop. I don't complain about much in this game but these were horrible and really leave a stink in the air. :wuerg:
