Carnival Queen strategy

Hi FarmersDelight, I did get an extra deco "Pirate Parade", I think it is cute and I put it on Shipwreck Bay
it will give me 4,144 TEP every 8hrs! Great to level up and get more Golden Bananas! The rest
of my coins will be used on PF, Party tickets, super grow and Suzys SG! Good luck and have fun!

 

Pirate Parade only gives 2960 EP/TEP every 8 hrs... but depending on the CRs, pets and givers you can use that will increase all your givers' EP, you can bump it up quite a bit tho. It is the best/most decent giver out of the 3, IMO.

I didn't buy any extra givers... the prices were increased too much for my liking with yet another FAQ correction

 

I've decided to not get extra deco and aim for GB and stars

 

@PeepsCA , I did say it gives "me"! I was just saying why "I" chose that deco item!

 

I spent all my star coins on PF - the givers cost too much and nothing else appealed. I also stopped growing after 40 games played, which just goes to show how much the monkey queen declined in my opinion this time.

 

I knew you must have had some sort of buffs or CRs etc boosting it for it to give you that much EP, but you didn't mention any so I wasn't sure you were aware that it only gives 2960 EP/TEP. That's all


Oh and speaking of EP... I did some math on all the EP, TEP and CC I'll get from all the candy and extra medals in my barns so far... holy cow welllll over a million of each already LOL.

 

Soooo.....I finally decided to use my medals and see how far I will go. Didn't do any breeding(think I might regret that) Anyhow, I sat down and figured what to use for the 1st 9 steps. Got to step 3 and the amount is diff for 4 Silver than what I had calculated Go back to the FAQ (AGAIN) and the amounts shown on that little picture thing is 10,000, 33,000,and 100,000. Quite a diff from 10,000, 50,000, 150,000!! I know I shouldn't complain bc this means I have a bigger value but come on!! How many times do I have to do the math?? I do congratulate everyone who completed both CR's

 

My laptop died last month. I bought a really nice new computer. I updated the OS the day before this event started. When I got home from the store I didn't bother rebooting the puter. The next morning I couldn't get logged in... Took a couple of hours to get that resolved. I wasn't very happy.

I thought maybe I was the only one that noticed the Monkey Queen is a pirate this time. It's not like the Merry ...Marauders have a reputation for generosity. Overall... I'm happy with my results from these two events.

My current status...
I completed the Bunny Love on all three farms. I used only the medals. I did more breeding than I had planned but that's OK, completed a big challenge in FSQ.
I concentrated om grabbing mainly coins & floral baskets. Or tried to... lol
Farm 1:
67 games played, 903 SC -- bought 2 HH coupons, 2 - 30x PF, GBs, 188 SC remaining (903/67=13.5 avg)
Farm 2:
83 games played, 1287 SC, I'll spend it on similar items (1287 /83= 15.5 average)
Farm 3:
82 games played, 1404 SC, ( 1404 /82= 17.1 avg)
My main farm didn't do as well as my other two farms. One time I caught two floral baskets in one game!
I still have at least one more round of flowers to harvest and will do some more trinket grabbing.

Meanwhile back at the ranch...

I've heard of lots of cleanses and detoxes. Haven't tried any yet. Dr. Oz is big on the apple cider vinegar detox. Doesn't really appeal to me. But... The... Cookie cleanse! That's a cleanse that speaks to the heart/gut of any cookie monster! I do have the makings for chocolate chip cookies. Maybe I'll try this one... :-D

I can "hear" your heartbreak... I think the toughest part of being human is losing loved ones. I've lost a few myself since I started playing this game. I can tell you're a strong woman and will find a way to get your footing back... eventually...

I used to spend money on the game but decided I was being wasteful as this is a pastime not an investment for me.
Glad others can afford to keep the lights on at BP tho.

 

I recommend this only as a last resort. I did a very thorough cookie...err...cleanse while baking loads of Christmas cookies, and now my scale and I are at war.

dumbunny, I just saw the post about your sister, I'm so sorry for your loss. Please know there are people praying for you and your family, for comfort for you, and healing for your heart. ♥ You'll always miss her, but she'll never really leave you (spoken from more experience than I care for).

 

Any way I work it I'm going to have over 3000 roses left on this event. I'm debating milling the deluxe pheromones in the hopes they will eventually work out the kinks and they may actually work. I'm loathe however to give up so many of my regular pheromones.

Torn..I'm torn but I've got to decide soon what to do.

 

Send your roses to your sweetheart for Valentine's Day? They are a beautiful shade of pink and I wish we could keep them.

Hmmm, sometimes I wish we could petition BP, just like in real life. I love the roses , then again I love pink roses in real life.

 

I have played the Monkey Queen 32 times now, with all the free baskets it helped. I am just a few games from the cloud row. Yippee!! Of course I have to open said rows though.

pnp and baw, I agree, I love the roses, they're so beautiful! With the exception of nettle for the lynx feed, it's been quite a long time since we've gotten a new crop, and forever since they let us keep an event crop as a regular.

 

I played my 78th and final basket of this event and with it caught the last 4 farm coins I needed to hit 600 and open the final area of crystal falls!!!

 

Finished Carnival Queen on both farms. Played 70 games on my main farm.
I made it to all but the last step of Bunny Love. Did take advantage of BBD and tried to get enough medals to finish with minimal animal donations. I was one step away. 7mill points however is a bit steep when I only have 1 million in medals. Happy I made it that far.

 

Crops beginning at level 100 will be familiar to you spots as many of them after that were once upon a time an event crop

Dumbunny, I am so sorry for you loss. I lost my sister some years ago and I miss her terribly.

I have finished both events and found them surprisingly much easier than I thought they'd be, even with a lot of RL stuff going on. I must have got very organised for a change! I didn't use too many of my breeding animals for Bunny Love - only when I got impatient to finish a level!

I have one last harvest of those beautiful Sweetheart Roses, just to get as much as I can out of the stingy Carnival Queen - only ever got 2 GBs in 42 games. Did appreciate the extra baskets though.

I have nearly 1,000 baskets left! Unbelievable!
