Gift pansy arrangement to pandas popping up. For the CR 45 needed to be gifted. We get a small prize every time we gift one + CR items after 4 - 12 - 24 - 39 -45 gifts

3 different crop, 3 different time. We can choose which one to grow.

    White pansy 3h
    Orange pansy 6h
    Blue pansy 9h

Drop: terracotta pot, drops from crop, stables and trees, mainland only. Need: 30 per arrangement = 1.350 in total. Daily average over 6 days: 225.

    Recipe 1 White pansy, all 45 arrangements = 18.000 + drops
    Recipe 2: Orange pansy, all 45 arrangements = 9.000 + drop
    Recipe 3: Blue pansy, all 45 arrangements = 4.500 +drops

If count 5 whole days White makes a daily average needed of 3600, Orange 1800 and Blue 900 - if we only do one colour. But we can make all 3 colours, it's a mix and match what suits your timetable.

Thanks to Zerodegrees Here are the revised numbers:

    45 - 3 = 42 pansy arrangements

    RecipePlantCropsDrops
    1White Pansy16,8001,260
    2Orange Pansy8,4001,260
    3Blue Pansy4,2001,260

EDIT: We all got 3 pansy arrangements from the start. Thank you Phoenix for noticing and asking in GQ.

Disclaimer: I have yet to do one correct start post, so there are bound to be errors. So I will correct it as brighter and more cleverer farmers posts. Thank you all for your help and your forgiveness (or fogness as I misspelled it the first time)

Thank you Moraine for the info :) Very much appreciated.
I think, I am going for the blue pansies, as they are suiting my sleeping habit and only need 3 harvests on all fields with CAC running. Will nuke the starter seeds with supergrow and suzy super grow to get the seeds for all fields asap.
Will grow all pansies first and see, what the drops are, so then I can swap to other crops afterwards like refined roses etc

Hope the drops are with us!!!

Good luck everybody and HAVE FUN :)

    water water&manure To Mill
    3 hr2 hr 24 min 2 hr 17 min 400
    6 hr4 hr 47 min 4 hr 32 min 200
    9 hr7 hr 12 min 6 hr 51 min 100
Now I found all these are the same..but the middle does reduce time by only 1 min with water and 2 min with water and manure. Not much of a change. Normally long time crops gives more in drops. I wont put it past BP to change it this time.

I like the 9 hour better. Due to the fact I see no change in time. It is even due to how we play this time around. Can't be here plant 9 hour. Or can be here and want more to do.. plant 3 hour. All should be done within 2 days, if planting back to back.. No matter your choice of crop. Ok lets break this down as I lost my math on the 2 days...lol

lets say most has 2 1x1 squares used on main farm...so that's 200 1x1's left over. Times that by 4 with CAC and you get 600 extra per round.

    200
    1x1's
    400
    1x1's
    Harvest 1 600 1200
    Harvest 2 1200 2400
    Harvest 3 1800 3600
    Harvest 4 2400 4800
As you can see does NOT matter what you plant. If you can turn the crops over when ready it can be done with 400 1x1 squares in between 28 and 36 hours(<36 hours with no water&manure).

Ok I didn't add start up to collect the first 200/400 crops you need. So it will take just a bit longer. If you super grow, it will go way faster. But if you can figure out on your own to get the 200/400 crops...Then this should help with the rest. And if doing just 200 1x1's time will be doubled to get 45 games...be 72 hours without water&manure.

NOTE: This is a guide to help(To go with Moraine's post). Least I hope it helps someone. If I goofed somewhere... Please tell. Thanks :D

Thank you Moraine for starting the thread. ;)

EDIT: I left out the fact ONLY IF DROPS ARE GOOD TO US xDxD

I'm sure you're right. I haven't done the math, but the numbers look very familiar. It is in the same ballpark as most of their medium events. So it is all about the comfort of RL. But water (and manure for those that have) will have a bigger effect on a 9h crop than a 3h crop (nice table Jazac!) so if going all in to get it out of the way asap, that is the way to go.

I will ofc go at it this the lazy, casual way, Doing 9h during night, freak out due to low drops, change to longer, fuzz over not enough crop, only to end up with too much of both. "Same procedure as last year, James?" "Same procedure as every year Ms Sophie"

Can't wait, just levelled up to rosehip - got my time wrong so I fussed there too, as I thought 13h =23h, one hour after the event had started. :oops:xD So not the case

Jazac, when you plant with 200 seeds using CAC you do do get 800 total seeds from that field but you need to replant 200 seeds. So you are really getting 600 seeds from that harvest. It's not until the very last harvest that you can actually count those 200 seeds that are being replanted. Hope I am not confusing anyone;):p

another edit: IMPORANT: If you want to nuke the initial seeds, DON'T forget to use white innocent and fruit cake BEFORE applying SG and SSG ;)

I'm all in on this one!!! :D Having the option to choose which plant/time we want to grow or combo of....is a great idea!!!!:inlove: That way when we have time to check on farm = 3hr white pansy and so on.:music: Plus there is only 1 drop for both events!!!

I'm wishing for many terra cotta pots for all doing event! ;)

This looks fun, goodies along the way as we feed the cute little Red Pandas, extra goodies if we wanna keep feeding them after we've completed the event steps, the crop growing can be slow or fast paced depending on what works for us :) Yah, options are good, and let's hope the drops are too. Only thing that has me a little worried is... the price of manure, with 6 fields cranking out crops and nowhere to grow any of our own manure how high will it spike this time, ugh :wuerg:

Thanks for the breakdowns and strategies guys n gals, good luck to all ;)

Oh and just in case anyone WAS saving their 36 hr EP boost from the Valentines Day Calendar, don't forget to activate it BEFORE RESET TODAY.

    Edit~
I rarely see this mentioned, but after reset today here in a few... save your gifts if you can, so you can send out drops at the start of the event, then send out more drops after tomorrow's reset ;)

To my neighbours I will wait till event starts to send todays gifts

    good luck all

I think you overlooked an important difference between the crops in regard of growth time needed per pansy arrangement. While 3 and 6 hour crops are equal in this respect 9 hour crop needs 25 % less overall growth time compared to them.

An example to illustrate: On 100 harvest field to get one pansy you need the following time:

    9 hours on 100 crops = 9 hours
    6 hours on 200 crops = 12 hours
    3 hours on 400 crops = 12 hours

PeepsCA - you made me LOL.

I don't understand this one yet (why 3 different flowers?) But the cloud row looks good (at least it doesn't take a week to mature!)...so I'm going to try it. We'll see how far I get.

I love this set up. Its 3 different flowers. different times... and to mill, yes one takes more crops then others. But if you look at the times to make one verses the other, to me its the same.. ok wait a second... i think i lost myself in this... but hang in there and someone PLEASE correct me if I am wrong.... I am racking my head with this...

18 hours worth of time/crops NOT counting water and manure as that don't matter with the math to mill.
    3 hr 400 crops6 hr 400 crops9 hr 400 crops
    3 hr 400 crops6 hr 400 crops9 hr 400 crops
    3 hr 400 crops6 hr 400 crops
    3 hr 400 crops
    3 hr 400 crops
    3 hr 400 crops
mills 6 games mills 6 games mills 8 games

So as you can see in 18 hours we can grow 2400 -3 hour crops(White pansies) or 1200 -6 hour crops(200 x Orange pansies) and we get 6 games... Now if we use the 9 hour crop (100 x Blue pansies) we get 800 crops and can mill 8 games. Please someone show me where i goofed...as i like the 9 hour crop way better now.....lol and me not ready for bed....lol

NOTE: Math is done on 200 1x1's only. Only counted the harvest without CAC or anything...as with buffs and suzy super grow it gives more yes... but i wasn't trying to figure that... just was thinking that something didn't add up....lol

I used the 3 free arrangements already, but I think on this one I will crank out all the 9 hr pansies needed to get the CR and givers, then tinker around with the other 2 pansies depending on when I can be at the laptop, and continue feeding red pandas drops permitting until either the event ends or I get bored.
Goodies, goodies and more goodies :music:;):music:

I love the options....we have been asking BP for that for a long time and they answered:) Good for all time zones and casual/professional farmers. Good for working players or real life commitments.

I originally thought I would use the orange pansies to match the Baha event crop time so the farm is ready all at the same time rather than staggered but am growing only the blue pansies. Wish we could keep them:inlove:

I don't think I will go beyond the 45 games needed.
