Question about mandrake drops

Hi, does anyone know if there is a crop, tree, or any tips/tricks etc. that will give better drops for mandrake? I currently only have 173 mandrake & I've been playing for over a year now. Most of those I got on farm wheel spins. (I'm still needing lots of preserving sugar for my gifts from neighbors so not going to ask for mandrake as daily gifts yet.) Thanks in advance if anyone knows!

 

Do you have the Alchemist shop open?

Before you open any shops in the artisan village, you can receive all the crafting products (sugar, salt, herbal elixir, floral wire, and mandrakes) as harvest drops. However, once you open a shop, that shop is the only crafting product that will drop from harvesting.

For example, if you only have open the Confectionery, all you will get from harvesting is sugar. To get all the crafting supplies when you harvest, you need to have all the shops open.

You will need to open the Alchemist to get more mandrakes. You will get plenty in no time.

You can open it with stars on the Tree of Wisdom.

Thanks! @puppiesnponies I appreciate your help! Yes, I opened it via the Tree of Wisdom but haven't completed all of the Alchemist's apprentice tasks yet. Going to work on it after current events.
