I'm back

Just when you thought you were safe, because I left. OH NO! Your not, cause I'm back. LOL

A brief history lesson for those who do not know. I used to play this game several times a day for 7 years. I was gone last year because, I found a new farming game that monopolized all my time - plus, I painted several large paintings, am active in my Spiritual Organization, went to Japan, lost 60 lbs and now I am writing a book.

Recently, my old wonderful computer died & I got a new one, but I lost a ton of passwords for the other game so now I have more time with no game to fill my farming obsession. I decided to come back to Farmerama instead of starting over with some other farming game.
Plus, I missed many of you who I consider dear live long friends.

Man is it strange to be back. LOL Everything is the same, yet everything is different. I have decided not to do events right now till I figure things out again.

Last night, I couldn't sleep so I completed a ton of Farmer Society quests. I decided to just buy the needed Tree fruits since I have 100M and so many new trees have been added and these quest might be the only time these fruits are needed. Anyway, I ended up spending about 13M on fruit, but I was able to get enough of those orange coins to open up another section in Baha.

When I left. I posted on this board. I was moved by everyone's nice messages. Thank you.

Can someone smart tell me why I can't see most of the pics in threads?I just get an icon that say img that I can't open.

It's late and I'm not computer savvy, but a while back one of the image hosts, I believe Photobucket, wanted money for every account. After that many pictures, including my siggy, was lost. Maybe his is the case?

OK I tried using that site, but I just get the same image ico and no pic. I wonder if I have to change a setting on my chrome browser to allow the image, but I have no idea how to do that in my new Windows 10. Any suggestions are appreciated.

 

Hi slglick... Welcome back

Not sure if this will help with your image problem or not, but get into your Chrome settings (the 3 vertical dots in the upper right hand corner of your browser), then scroll down and click on Advanced Settings, then in Privacy and Security scroll down to Content Settings. In there scroll down to Images, and make sure you have Show All turned on (slide the control for it to the right, it will be blue). Hope that fixes the issue for you

 

Hi and welcome back sglick!!!!! I'm thrilled to have you back on the farm and in my nab list!!!! For those of you who don't know sglick, she was a really innovative and fun player. She used to organize outrageous and hilarious puzzles for us to play while our crops were growing!!! Maybe, if we are lucky, we could get her to do another one???

Wow Peeps! As a tech numpty, I'm always in awe when people know how to drill down a path to find a possible place to fix something. After a couple of clicks, I get lost and if I go further into the maze, I might not find my way out again

 

PNP - Look at you - using "drilled down" in a sentence correctly. Yippee for you. Whenever I talk about finding where go in setting or places. I just stammer and talk in circles. I will have to remember that the term is drilled down. That should be easy to remember because trying to find anything feels like I am drilling a hole in my head.

Peeps - I hope this an exceptable nickname. I have a history of renaming everyone. My old excuse was dyslexia - now it is just poor memory that comes with old age.

Thanks for your help. I did go into settings but could not see the teeny tiny word "advance" at the bottom of the screen. Even if I did see it last night, I would not have know about the images in the content place.

What am I going to do if I can't post pic or worse yet - can't see your pics. These is very confuzzeling, because I can see some pics. I was able to see the bellyful Pic of Hatzev's new baby boy & the gorgeous Cassy & I could see PNP's sophisticated 3 cats lazy gabbing the day away. (PNP - I'm sorry that Silver passed. I loved the story you told of how you found Silver and how she helped you son so heart warming.)

Brooke - I have missed you. Thank you for your great endorsement. We will see. I loved doing those games, but they always tore out my heart, because I would get niffed off over someone or some thing. If I can get over my emotional attachments then I will try to dream up some Krazyness for you.

Janisella - Thank you for welcoming me back. Where we neighbors once upon a time? I know you started playing before me all those many many many Moons ago. Good to see you again.

FW - (Cause you will always be FW in my heart. I wanted to send you a neighbor request right away, but I could not remember the spelling of Farmer Wife so I'm glad you told me that you are no longer farming that farm. I will send one to farmerumf

Aw!!! It is so good to be back among friends. Last year on the other game. I farmed alone with no one to talk to. It was very cathartic to immerse so fully in farming and working towards objectives, But I miss people - you since youa'll make life (and farming) worth living. Thank you for being my friends.

PS - The Lady that I worked for passed away 1-27-18. Her passing was very beautiful. When I have more time I will tell you that story it really is beautiful. A few days before she passed. She had forgotten how to open her mouth so someone could feed her. It was time for her to go. I am really OK about her passing, because of my Spiritual faith. My only problem is now I have no job.

I have decided to not even worry about working for the month of March - maybe April since I have the rent till May. Instead I want to focus on writing the book. OK, you'all are distracting long enough. I have to switch gears and start writing that book.

Oh no RIP Lady J

When I visited sglick last year we went once a day to see J at the home where she lived. It was so beautiful to see the bond that they shared, lady J at a late stage of dementia and sglick a young-ish girl caring for this old but beautiful lady. I've always known sglick to have a heart of gold but this special bond they had I'll carry forever with me. Thanks sglick!
