i dont see the sloth or anything different to click on for the additional prizes, must be stupid

 

You have to click them before donating for the prize. Think the order for the first three is Sloth, Snake and Pineapple. The Sloth prize is claimed before you donate anything. Hope this helps.

 

Hidden treasure #6 is the parrot which pops up from behind the bush.

Crops done, hunt is on for another 450 drops. I sense an early finish

 

i cant see a sloth, parrot or anything ..... even before clicking the plus to donate. do they pop up? i am missing something here.

 

If you have not donated the first 5 knives, the sloth will be hanging on a vine (left side). When you put your pointer over a bonus gift the Arrow becomes a Hand.

 

don't forget the GB over on the right - it's after the second donation. Tiny little critter...hard to see.

 

Finished another step and am able to disclose hidden treasure #7. It's a Ceiba Bloom and you'll find it in the vines next to the big torch the mouse helds.

30 knifes, 300 drops, to go.

Done and done!!!! Gotta love those 200% and 100% wheel prizes!!! I got them both yesterday!!!!
I had decided not to do the Hungry Statues b/c I'm working a lot of the weekend....but now that it's a permanent quest, may consider later.
If you're having difficulty finding the hidden treasures....just sweep over event scene with mouse...once it reaches the item it turns into a hand(or whatever you have your mouse set with).

Did anyone found improvement when the Deluxe pheromone were used? I had the feeling that they were useless after I tried a few. So I experimented.
Bred 11 goats and 1 pig using 2 deluxe pheromones for each breeding. got only 1 skip
did the same experiment with same animals and 2 regular pheromones. got 1 skip.
absolutely identical results. So I would recommend to skip the new but not improved pheromones.

I'm just past the halfway stage and feeling confident about finishing this one. Drops are still ahead of crops, I only need a tad over 300 (LOL!) but I am getting 60ish from each of two fields of Four Leaf Clovers so that is covered. As I have emptied Crystal Falls, I am doing some event crop during the day to speed that along and overnight I am growing stuff for the timed FSQs. No such luck with Farmwheel bonuses so it is slow and steady on the illy farmstead.

I was practically set to start Hungry Statues today but will be leaving it to finish other more tricky timed quests and will do that at my leisure! Or if I find I need any of the prizes a little more quickly.

I think I will leave Crystal Falls as is for the while until I can clear some of these longstanding FSQs, then fill it with all the best goodies as it was before.

Finished on both farms just a few ago. Harvest bonuses scooted me thru the crops, and long crops on the mainland did great on the drops (Along with some generously consistent gifts from a handful of really great "gifties" in my neighbor and friends lists... you all know who you are ). How nice not to struggle for a change

Hope everyone else is jammin' right along, 'grats to those already finished, keep at it for those still hunting that red diamond .


I think I'm still on track for finishing the Hungry Statues by Tues (trying to finish it on schedule, anyway)... so far no bloopers, other than a delayed start due to milking every last event crop I needed out of my harvest bonuses. (Some days that darn wheel is not very nice, but it was generous this time... got 100% bonus and a couple +1s bonuses on both farms).

 

Just bred 28 mammals and got 2 skips. skips are extremely low.

 

I just finished this event with 259 crops and 22 drops to spare I know I will have plenty more drops to cash in at the end. Don't think I will do the Hungry Statue right now. I normally don't buy that many of each trees bc they are usually so expensive in Baha Trees and stables are set out so in a few hours I will see what I get. Not really counting on a Rhino (think that's the one)....very elusive Congrats to those who finished and keep going for the rest. Plenty of time Quick question--after the final donation is made, there is no gift to collect with your cursor, correct? I hovered over several times and it didn't look like my mouse had changed. But I just wanted to be sure!!

Not sure if anyone has seen, but Hungry Statues is now a permanent quest so don't rush to try and get it done in time. Not sure if anyone has posted this already, sorry if they have.
