Starting tomorrow and category "Medium".

I made an initial calculation of event requirements (the other items are just too much for me!). Please feel free to correct me as I am sure that I have missed/miscalculated something.

7,815 Giant Crocus - Main three fields
7,350 Giant Carnation - Baha and Rain Forest (not Crystal Falls)
26 Spring Fragrance
1,202 Snowflakes (240 for event plus 26 x 37 for Spring Fragrances)
679 Dewdrops (315 for the event plus 26 x 14 for Spring Fragrances)

Not too bad in theory but there are some other items, especially on the Baha side, that may not be available to lower level players - Fox Heads comes to mind - but there are lots of good prizes on the way.

I am a thinking the same about some of the level contributions to have fox head at #40 is not good. I do hope BP see sense and have a rethink.

Wasnt there an event last year where a similar thing happened with having higher level items placed earlier in the event thus some players were unable to go past a certain point even though they had the items that was required later in event.

Good luck everyone I am in on this seeing I finished 2 of recent events at weekend so have had time to breathe and recoup.

Got no way of getting CR im stuck at fox head but on a happier note finally will get a snail pen

 

Hallo Phenixboy, what is this fox head ? looked everywhere on my farm and couldn't find any.

 

You will need to go the Temple - Fox Head is in the last Chamber and the penultimate crop in Bahamarama!

 

I fully agree with phoenixboy12! I am in the same situation...don't have 40 GB therefore can't finish that side of the event....what a shame

For those that are fairly close to being able to open fox head, it may still be possible...

There are 27 GB awarded on the Main side and we get 5 GB from Fuzzles tonight. Plus there are a few more on the Baha side. If you are close, don't give up. It can still be done to get the cloud row and lion stable. You don't need many fox heads....125. You can buy those in the seed shop over 2 days while still growing the needed event crops and then donate multiple steps once you have unlocked that step.

Finally decide to do an event and I can't get past the toucons! Ah well, I can do some of it.

 

Good idea PnP, but if like me Ive not got 2 of the trees required so if get fox head open only will progress a few steps.

Too me do I cut my losses and keep GB for what Ive been working on in opening CF by opening trees in temple

Suppose thats the beauty of this game so many different strategies

Looks doable. Need to make a few stuff here and there (ladders, cheese etc), but all in all this should be smooth sailing for me.

If you are missing multiple items that are asked for and low on Golden Bananas, the Baha side won't be finished. You can work on the main side and scoop up the GB to help with opening CF and used your tropical fields to work on quests for more GB, stock up or use for manure production. I agree....lots of strategies based on where players are in the game, farming goals and real life commitments.

 

Can someone tell me what the jewels are that are needed for step 18 of the left side chain? I didn't think I was THAT new but I have no idea what this is... Maybe I'm missing something....

Jewels are the production of crows ( go figure - as I thought it was magpies that preferred shiny objects)

My problem is the Moringas on the Baha side. Don't have enough golden bananas to unlock the tree and appears that you can't buy them in the shop. Don't see a space in the shop for anyone to even sell them.

 

if you haven't unlocked them, you can't see them in the shop at all... so I would try to do as many quests rewarding you golden bananas as you can and unlock them
or you could try to buy some in the farm shop with your copper farm coins, if you have enough of them.

This will be my 1st event in almost 2 years.

Before, I read this thread I made a list of everything that I knew I did not have or was unfamiliar with (lots of new stuff added this last year - mostly trees).

I had everything but Fox Heads and Java Apples. I was disappointed when I read that GB's were gone to be needed. I was saving those up to open Elephant Breeding. I want a Pink Elephant!!!

I had enough to open the last level and I am 1 GP away from opening Fox head. I realized this just before reading PNP's wise explanation about not worrying.That we would get GB's as we progressed in the event.

I finished reading the thread and then went looking in the Temple to look for Java Apple. To my horror, they need 42 GB's which I do not have. BOO-HOO BOO-HOO BOO-HOO!!!!!!! I want a lion!!!

Knowing my stupidity. I will blow my 90M nest egg to complete FS quests to get enough GB's to open Java Appels. I really hope that I am NOT that stupid!!!

Can any one else think of any other solutions???

Edit: Oh my Gosh! Oh my Gosh! Since you'all have taght me math over the years. I think I will get enough GB's in the event to open Java Apple. Once open, I can buy the Apples.

27 - PNP said we would get this many on the Main Island side.
5 - Tonight - I asume from Fuzzy. I'm a few days behind - No worries - I will get them in time.
13 - from the Baha side - for the Java Apples

This equals 45 - 1 to open up Fox Head. This should leave me with 44 GB's & I only need 42 to open up Java Apples.
