"Wow" is all I can say right nowo_Oo_O This CR really seems like a joke to me-.--.- The drops are probably going to be the issue so remember to gift, farmers:pxD Of course I will go as far as I can;) Good luck to all!! A reminder to those who don't have trophies in LL rune, I don't think they can be placed in the field to increase drop rate:( Maybe I am wrong:oops:

I love this event (so far) because, we can keep our other fields going. I am putting all my resources to finishing Chef's Table so I can get a Pink Bear of my very own.

Thanks Moraine for thinking out loud so we could all hear.

To me there seems to be a big wait and see factor. It's good to have a good sense of the rules so we can make better decisions in the moment once we get an idea of what is really involved.

Good luck to all!!! & May the drops be with you!!!

Gonna go as far as I can go and be happy with it. Cloud row is kind of a let down for all this work, if you ask me. What I want to know is what other event they are going to throw at us tomorrow - because you know they will.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that math work Moraine and Illy! :inlove:

I seem to recall a few similar events on this field that seemed confusing and weird until you started playing and then it all made sense.

I'm happy to be able to farm normally at the same time, I need to raise some butterflies it seems. ;)

With such a short crop the difference is negligible because there is about 4x higher chance of getting a drop from a 2x2 than a 1x1 plot.

With high drop rate and a long crop it is a different matter. Then you could be in the situation of getting more than 36 drops from 144 1x1 plots, but you are of course limited to a maximum of 36 drops from 36 2x2 plots.

    Thanks Moraine for the numbercrunch!

The rewards, givers and CR aren't very special for an Easter Event. Luckily everything gained is for free but I will not bother going after the tiny big prizes. I will particpate and grow the event plant thou because it is a great EP giver.

    On a 2x2:
Regular mainland crop - Crop Circle, 5:40 hrs = 34 EP
Event crop - Miracle Egg Plant 5:40 hrs = 160 EP

With Water applied grow time = 4:32 hrs
With Water and Manure applied grow time = 4:05 hrs

With Greenhouse refinements for the event crop it's possible to get an additional 700% EP bonus, meaning a single 2x2 provides 1120 EP.

Apply the Cheese Mystery CR (+40% event plant EP) and For Science! CR (+25% event plant EP) on top of the refinements and get 1224 EP per square.

If you happen to have the Event Plant EP Booster Buff (+100% event plant EP) as well, do add another 160 EP to the totals.

Be aware the CRs and buff are timed ones, so apply in time for max profit.
And all of that without disturbing the regular fields!

PS. to get the refinements I'll use the short runs (30 plants) and hope for the best.

    Have a great day..keep smiling!

EDIT: After a few rounds of harvesting it became obvious none of the cloud rows I've mentioned are effective on the special playfield. Next I asked the mods about the Event Plant Booster Buff and they told me it doesn't work either. ACK!

Interesting angle for the event. It encourages people to learn about using the greenhouse. I think it has been confusing to some newer players and the old threads helping explain the basics have faded away. I like that part about the quest.

It's been confirmed (see General issues thread) that the Event Greenhouse works the same way as the regular one.

    A few tips:

Accept all and every refinement you get but be very sure on what you activate. Once a refinement is activated it'll cost 2500 CC and 24 hrs cooldown before you can replace it with another refinement. To skip the cooldown costs 8 BB. I think that's not worth it; better to think ahead and determine at the start which ones you want to get and use so you don't have to replace a thing. :)
If you skip a refinement you find, you might get it again and again and again.. so get it even when it's useless to you at the time and go for the next.

When using medium or large greenhouse you extend the time refinements mature for the 2nd (medium) and/or 3rd (large) search. It should give you a better chance to find a refinement. The negative about the use of larger greenhouses is when it finds a refinement on the 1st, regular, search (which you accept ofcourse!), the remaining searches are dismissed.

Always start with the smallest greenhouse. It's the cheapest and althou it might not give a refinement instantly or that often, you can run it 4 times for 120 event plants while the large greenhouse costs 130 plants for maximum 3 tries. I tend to switch to the larger greenhouses after I got 2 out of 3 refinements I want to use.

May the Easter Refinement Bunny be as generous as the Easter Egg one.

Thanks Moraine for the numbers. I like your numbers way better than mine. I interpreted the FAQ to be accumulative. I thought we needed 135 nests to open CR. 40 is much more reasonable. Of course I didn't have the proper amount of coffee consumed when I started ciphering this morning ...

Now I have to decide whether to try this one. RL has me booked this weekend.

At last, an event , can let us farm, as well as participate in event, IDEAL for all New or young Farmers , have done several similar in past and do your own way, depending on your level, time considerations , etc ! BUT achievable without worrying about planting fields for high EP , etc, an event for long lazy weekend and lots off chocolate :) X Good Luck To All , Happy Easter X

Thank you Moraine, and illy. I'm not very good with the greenhouse so I plan to skip it, get some prizes, and the cr, the best way I can. Good Luck everyone and Happy Easter. :inlove:

    Thank you Moraine and Illy.
I will be attempting this event, how well I do is open to question I will mess up somewhere.
Nice for a change to use playfield and we can have a week of 'normal' farming and getting FSQs done.
    Good luck everyone

Hmm, Clever thinking on the Greenhouse Habalala. I think I'll do just that. Pretty sure drop is going to be an issue, so I should have enough crops to cultivate. Once I have all the time reductions I want, then thinks should solved itself.

Phoenix - I doubt we'll get a week off from events on the farm. I'd be so surprised I'd fall of the sofa.

April's Fool. And it's not a "proper event" if it doesn't force us to rip of at least some parts of our farms. xD
