Ah yes April Fools. hopefully calender will be out soon. As long as not the same as last years

 

I don't remember last year's....what happened?

I remember the year we had the submarine floating across our flooded farms.

 

PnP it was when we had greedy weasel charging us for using our farms.

I remember when our animals were being kidnapped (or cownapped in a lot of cases) by aliens. A lot of farmers were convinced they didn't get all their animals back! *play Twiglet Zone music*
I am very disappointed that I didn't get one drop already!

I will probably only manage the initial harvest first as it takes sooooo long to get going. Not to worry though, with three harvests a day, no matter what size plots, with all land opened up, we can recoup 1,296 Miracle Easter Plants daily and will easily make it to the necessary 2,600 plants for the basic 40 Easter Nests.

Not sure I can say the same for drops - I reckon we need between 60 and 70 per day, that is about 25ish per harvest. We will see in about four hours' time!

What's the opinion on the hmmmm...is it the Easter egg enchantment? I just wonder if it would be wise to get a couple of those

 

I got no opinion (shockingly, but true).
This event is labelled Hard, and I think it will be unless you have a lot of spare time to devote to the game. They want us to use the refinements, so I think it will be very hard without the use of those to shorten the time and increase the number of harvests. It's how they have set up the event this time.

Call me a cynic or whatever but thats what BP are wanting you to do is buy these items to enhance their cash sales. Im sorry but I am not falling into their trap if it means I dont complete an event because of it then so be it.

 

Do you mean the Easter crates? I bought one, (couldn't help it - it was calling my name) and got a couple of eggs. Those were expensive eggs for 4 BBs. Really don't think I'll be doing that again.

 

I bought two and I got five eggs and five nest.

 

Have put my first set of seeds into planting. I too have no opinion of this event yet. May be as I progress and get the prizes, we might get a opinion. That is if we get good & useful Endless Rewards - good event else ....No....

 

Well first harvest and just one drop, so with two from friends that makes 3..... It's going to be a long old event at this rate!

 

I find it pretty normal to want to get paid for their work. And those that do buy than, great. I really hope you feel it's worth your money.

For me it's the challenge that's the best with the event. But oooohhhh yes the drop is a pain. Although, 3 drops on 5h crop on 6 large plots doesn't seem bad... it feels bad cos I need 10 top open more land. So I chucked the left over crop into the greenhouse, hoping for a miracle. Doing the lucky dance whilst rubbing a grumpy bunny in the hope of some luck takes the wrong turn at Albuquerque and ends up at my place.

Please, please drop gods, send the right kind of flying pig over my farm, I want egg nests. Not brown stuff. Green Easter Egg Nests. GREEN! not brown - GREEN drops

I bought some of the Easter Crates and got completed nests and a big boost on the crop. I was able to plant my little area and start a small refinement in the green house. I only bought 4 so I thought that was a good boost.

I've got a lot going on on my main farm as I don't have many butterflies so I've got those going and trying to restock tree fruit at the same time. Just a lot of work getting it all laid out over the past two days.

I'm not going to panic over this event. I'm just happy to be able to get my regular farming done at the same time.

Edit: my first April Fools was the one with the exploding fields full of moles. It's was pretty funny and thankfully could be turned off.

 

I think I was ridiculously lucky, which is not usual, as I bought 2 crates and got two of the givers from them. They only give 3 nests every 8 hours but that still seems like a boost and I only spent 8 BB's instead of a couple hundred.

I've just discovered that I can't look at a field full of butterfly stables as all the flapping about makes me motion sick. I even tried turning animations off but doesn't seem to make a difference. Doesn't help that I can't just plop stuff down I always end up making a pattern out of everything so trying to place trees around the stables took me forever.

The exploding fields was my first April Fools as well and I hated last years with the stupid weasel. May that dumb idea not be resurrected again, please.

Wow great informative thread Moraine, I not Ben posting much as I like as my laptop is in a Coma, windows updated messed it up.

Got two drops from my first harvest. I will mill my first Easter nest on my 4th harvest, as need to build up good stock of event crops

My First Goal is to open up all six areas, as I am not convinced yet that it is worth a Gamble some event crops towards on the hope to get refinements to speed up reap rate of miracle egg plants.

Reason why, we have to take into consideration of idle time especially overnight. Some of the refinements goes in our favour while we are awake.BUt when it is time for us to need our beauty sleep, the refinements does not go in our favour due loss idle time factor

We have to see if the drops are good to us. The rewards from easter nests is far better than risking our hard earned miracle egg plants

Failed Refinements rewards, will prevent getting Cloud Row, as you have to make allowances what if not able too get the refinements you are seeking. For the time being my Strategy A is Ignore refinements. Maybe at halfway stage I might implement Strategy B, which is work on refinements

As we have three extra refinements slots allocated during this event only. But this has no use for me since I have Butterfly Yellow Houses in all of my fields. All manure generated from Butterfly houses goes towards seeing miracle egg plants no need to buy manure from the markets as each butterfly house produces 3x manure.
