On first glance, I like the look of this event. By not allowing buffs normally used constantly by higher level farmers, it puts lower level farmers in the same position (perhaps better, because they may be used to not having all the buffs on a regular basis!). :)

Using the event field means that we can all continue with our current projects and still participate in the event. The prizes are pretty good and quite generous, in my opinion. We "only" need to make 40 Easter Nests but as we have no other crops to grow on this field, the event crops can be grown overnight too. Meaning most farmers will be able to do two, three or even four harvests a day. :music:

The build up of plots takes strategy - I can't make up my mind whether to go with all 1x1s at first or some 2x2s or ... I will decide tomorrow! :p

I am hoping that the drop rate will be adequate for all to achieve at least the 40 Easter Nests. One field giving drops with no start up crops in place, it needs to be a pretty high rate for even the most industrious farmer to get the CR.

I will probably not use the Greenhouse aspect of the event - I would prefer to reap other rewards if I have excess crops/drops.
My one gripe is the same as always - MILLING! Why do we have to interrupt our busy mills to mill event products? -.-

Looking forward to a happy Easter event! :inlove:

Have to agree, is nice when event purely on the one plot and allows for some much needed re-stocking, FSQ's and serenity on the rest off Farm, plus as mentioned above, ideal for junior farmers who I think have had a hard time off events lately, this may help build their confidence, a pleasant Easter to be had by all, along with lots off Choccie :)

I like the event. I enjoy the events on the special field the most. I especially like the way the event introduces more players to the way the greenhouse works. It makes it very easy and understandable.

Thank you for an event that uses just the special field, so that we can farm normally elsewhere. It is a treat. I too am glad to see something designed to encourage use of the greenhouse - I think it is a fabulous resource overlooked by many players and this will at least get them to take a look at it. The format for this event seems great and as always, little prizes along the way are wonderful. Mostly though, thank you for an event that just uses the special field, and without any enhancements, keeps all of us farming the same way!

Well said to those praising the fact we get to use the special field and take a little time to just enjoy farming our lands, replenish our barns, and maybe complete some quests. I'm looking forward to this event!

Thank you BP for utilising event playfield for this event and leaving us to have our other fields to do as we please.
I like the fact new and long time players have a level playing field, no one has any advantage.
At the moment Im looking forward to this till I mess up;):p

I agree with everyone about being able to farm normally for awhile and still have an event. My biggest plus on this is utilizing the greenhouse as I do think this is a great way to teach players how to use it effectively. I also like that it evens the playing field so to speak so that farmers without access to buffs have as much chance as finishing as an advanced well stocked farmer does.

I hope this means BP intends to make more crops above carnations able to be refined.

Not interested. I like the separate field but I have never understood the refinery and greenhouse stuff. I even printed out the FAQ ages ago and still dont get it! Too complicated for a little game! I have done one event recently and want to enjoy my Easter and get out and about so giving this a miss.

    First glance.. yes, nice event.
Second glance... Oh my.. the drops... they are pathetic! And without them, you are not able to open up more fields to get more crops and drops.
    We'll see how it develops...

Auntie EDIT says: And as the crops are not the longest, the fields will lay idle more or less all night, which will reduce drops again :(

The graphics are pretty but it is a very slow start for those of us who can't buy baskets to boost delivery of Easter Eggs. I don't dare to try refinements until I get all the fields.

Do not like this event and have never ever liked the green house part of the game ...it wastes crops for nothing in return after taking the time to grow them to donate to it... AND it's far to complicated to understand for a game that is suppose to be FUN to play
Would have Been better to have an Easter egg hunt ...Drops seem to be non existent

I have to say that the drop rate is very poor for this event. Half of the drops I have had have come from gifts. Unless there is a tweak to the level of drops, I doubt whether I or many other farmers will finish this. :(

This event is terrible...........sooooooooooooo slow and rare drops, just the occasional trickle.

Pros: Can continue with normal farming and forget about completing this event (my current plan)
Cons: A virtually non-existent drop rate
    Slow and boring

Another event not to be completed - I'm getting used to this now......it's my new normal!!

I'm enjoying the event, and so far, my drops seem ok/ The best thing about the event is that we can continue to farm as usual :)

The drop rate needs adjusting ASAP. As it sits, so many farmers that cannot afford to buy the 30 crates will NOT even get close to achieving the CR with the current drop rate as pathetic as it is. :(

Furthermore... the success rate of gaining refinements in the Greenhouse is a JOKE. What, is that your April Fools prank early or something?

Not fair of you to deflate our Easter spirit like this BP, but especially so for all the lower level farmers getting only a big rotten egg of frustration of struggle and failure out of this event -.- . This event should have been tailored as a Holiday reward to all farmers. Instead it's tailored only to fatten your wallets if we want to finish.

    Thumbs down.>:(

now that we are a little bit into the event... I would like to add my appreciation for the fact that all the playing field space is divisible by 2x2 plots, so layout is easy. That is wonderful.

I think that the fact that this is a slow moving event is perfect for the holiday weekend - there is no way to turn this into a "harvest every hour" sort of thing. I think that the greenhouse feature should have a guaranteed refinement of some kind. Those of us who have utilized the regular greenhouse know that perseverance is key to getting refinements - but it's not fair to ask that with event crops where production time is limited.

The drops, for me, have been right on target. A six day event should not be significantly close to finishing by day 2. But I am using mostly 1x1. Again, I am NOT ok with an event that REQUIRES the use of 1x1 to complete in a timely fashion. The mechanical harvester should be a benefit, not a requirement, and while I know there are people who harvest by hand with 1x1, I don't know how they do it with the number of fields that we have now.

Please lighten up on ALL the event requirements. I enjoy them, I do, and I'm not saying to make them a piece of cake. I'm just asking, have the developers play this the way NORMAL WORKING people do, and then have events that can work for them - or have multiple difficulty levels, selected by the player at the beginning of every event, with better prizes for those who choose the harder levels, but the option for less committed players to at least get some joy from events instead of feeling frustrated.

As has been said again and again and again - you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Putting us in a position where we feel like we are obligated to spend money is just chasing your players away. Give them more happiness, and they will spend the money. It's been proven over and over and over in every business model - happy customers spend more money!!!

I bet someone thought the bugs and turning the fields upside down would be really funny. In fact its just irritating and makes the game impossible without the harvester.

Ok, so now we are doing no less than 3 events at the same time, AND trying to celebrate easter. No good, this is supposed to be a resting time, and I'm not happy to be stressing with the game all easter weekend. Please, stop this multi-event thing that's going on.
