Easter Festival Strategy Thread

It was said to be hard and complex - So I'm thinking all above Mooboy Except or the easy part
I'm on 13/40. Doing refinements with left over crop, but always mill if I have enough drops.
I'm tempted to try the Vampire Serum as well on the MM. Not sure what to do. Can't seem to make up my mind Maybe cos my mind is having an Easter break.

 

Oh it is fun playing with new toys. Remember, you can use Melon Magic along with the +3 other and get a lovely boost in crop return!

Back on topic: I have been doing refinements and they really help. Out of 5 tries, got 4 good refinements - using small pots only. Since drops don't come close to keeping up with crops, might as well do something with the excess egg plants. Even if you don't get a refinement, you will get some type of reward in return for the crop investment.

 

That's lucky mindy! I've done 6 tries with small pots and only got one refinement , +100% EP

 

I've also done some attempts for refinements but so far just one on each farm. I have opened all areas and am at 18/40. I think this still puts me in reach of finishing but at the last minute. I got 20 egg nests from morning harvest of 2x2's so I've left them that way.

 

I can verify that 200% from wheel does not work on Easter event. lol that excitement didn't last long.

 

Yeah, I should have warned everyone about the farm wheel buffs not working either. This is one slow slog of an event. I don't think I'm going to get to the cloud row. Real life is once again keeping me otherwise occupied. I'm typing this post from the surgery waiting room at our local hospital - this time it's my mother. She had a TIA on Wednesday...

 

dumbunny, sorry about your mothers stroke. I hope you caught it in time and there is no major impairment. Here's hoping it's well and good.

 

Think I am up the creek without a paddle ...I seem to be getting no where ...made a nest with an egg to open some of the field and that didn't work grrrr LOL

Here the drops vary from 16 to 24 per harvest. So let's say on average 20 drops. Along with 144 crops per harvest I concluded we are able to mill 2 Easter Nests per harvest with each harvest and milling giving a surplus of 14 crops.
In short: CR = 40 Easter Nests = 20 harvests.
The surplus of crops can be used to try for refinements or can be used to save 1 or 2 harvest but that is only when the drops are with you.

I have 10 harvests to go .. I think that's doable within the 3.5 days the event still runs.

Could someone (...Mir ) explain how these refinements work please? This evening I got the nr 8 refinement: 30% increased water. The way I interpret it is that I get an additional 30 %, on top of the usual 20 %, meaning I should have 50 % off. But of course that's not the way it works, it's just increased from 20% to 30 % or roughly 20 minutes. Bit disappointing

I got 200% xp bonus in refinery. How long does it last? i cant find anything about it. Once harvest or a certain time?

 

If you activate it, it works for as long as you have it activated.

I've stuck to my plan using excess crop for the refinement, only two so far, one is EP (uninteresting) and second was bonus on water. BUT I've gotten 9 GB from trying, so not all bad, even if I've open all statues.

I'm 23/40 - meaning I lack 17 Easter Eggs. I get enough for aprox 2 Easter Egg per harvest. Actually a little less, maybe I should do 1x1 to squize out the last 3 nests per harvest ?

Anyway, thinking 2 eggs per harvest, 9 harvests left. 4 h every growth time = 3 harvest per day +1 during night (the morning harvest, not getting up) , that is 2 days and a morning harvest. For easy calculations 60h, and there is 68 on the timer.

If you click on your icon under the clock, left side of page then use the arrow button until you come to your 200%, hover your mouse over that and it will tell you how long is left.

 

I don't think you got a timer on refinements Erridge. Those work for as long as you got that refinement chosen in your greenhouse.
