I'll be nice and just say I like the prizes, and the pranks are funny when you Shoo the bugs.

As I wrote in the Player Suggestion thread, I, for one, am freaked out by the sight of bugs crawling over things. This new Bugs Unleashed graphic makes my skin crawl, and it pops up EVERY TIME I click on something new. I can't find a way to get rid of it. There needs to be a way to fix this; I don't like games that make me sick. And yes, I can just look away, but since the <deleted> bugs slow down my computer and fill up my cache, I can no longer estimate how long it will take for something to load. Please, please, please, by all that is holy and good in the world, take the BUGS OFF MY SCREEN. Thank you

 

I don’t like this event, because, every time I change field, the bug crawling effect , even worst is every pop up come with the bug crawling.
No matter how the graphic the team design is good or bad.
That’s annoying
I though that is only April fool which will only last one day, but this morning when I login
the annoying bug still come out with pop up.
So, to protest as well as a feed back to BP, this is the first time, I
will not do this event, not because of the content of event, nor the prize or time.
Just I hate the game designer not get a good brain when they design this event.
I had see the strategy thread, there is other players like me, don’t like the crawling bug effect.

 

Very Annoying! & impossible to get rid of them.

 

I was so annoyed with seeing the bugs every click I completely forgot to replant my moonlight fields before mm ended, so when the next mm starts I'll have two fields of coral mushrooms to harvest instead of trees and long term crops

 

I am one of the April fools that enjoyed the bugs, my husband thought I was crazy, when I refreshed and they started crawling I was just a giggling and my family just kept looking at me and shaking their heads. So I for one enjoyed the "April Fools" aspect of the bugs, I didnt care too much for the upside down effect but still giggled, but was happy it went away as I swated more bugs, only 18 hours in and Im almost half way done so I am pleased with this event.

 

I'm another who really gets a kick out of watching the bugs crawl across my screen but I can see how for some they would be annoying. Might have been better if they could have been turned off along with the other bugs on play fields (I would have kept them on). As we had no prior warning I was going to skip the event as I finally had pens back out on my fields but the little bugs have bitten me and I couldn't resist. So far it's fun but I doubt I will finish but that's OK.

I don’t like the bug crawling every time a pop up come out!
Some may say, oh, I enjoy it, it doesn’t matter, But........
do you kniw how annoying disgusting when you go to harvest the cloud row manually.
I had totaly 179 CR, which I keep in favorite, even they are mature in different time,
But when I first login each morning,It still be a big load of work. And every CR I click
come with a pop up with bug crawling around.
You know how it attack my eye & my brain

One man‘s favorite is another’s poison. Why those don’t enjoy had to tolerance with others
like it alot!
This is a effect that cannot be turn out!

So, I won’t do this event. For me, if I do this event, it will make me feel I had surrender.
I accept everything BP give to players.
Esp I’m a money player, I buy BB, why I should accept everything BP offer no matter it is
good or not. I had the choice to refused it.
I need to make my voice out!

 

I was on limited time yesterday and though I thought it was amusing, I found the lag factor extremely frustrating. I also had to manual harvest at times and in the end, because of upside down trees and pens making it impossible to place plots, I just left plots empty.

It is a shame that so much work must have gone into this prank but it lacked the ability to stop the animation - after a certain amount of time to allow for April Fool to be effective - for those who wished it.

To be fair, we all expected something and it is usually something that puts farmers in two fields - I was on the fence but probably, as yesterday I was without harvester and had time limitations, I was leaning towards the "turn it off" side!

 

I don’t like the bug crawling every time a pop up comes out! I hate bugs crawling around I had to deal with a bug infested house that is not fun. The event is ok but hate the bugs crawling and popping out all the time. Please make a way to get rid of that. I went on settings to stop the animation it didn't work

 

I expressed my opinion yesterday already!
The bugs crawling around with every click and every change of field are just annoying. They take up cache space and slow down the game masiively to an unplayable speed. Without a harvest helper harvesting manually this so called "feature" makes it even worse.
What are developers thinking?

I find it quite amusing and it hasn't interfered with my game play - I thought that it would be one day only, so didn't bother with the event, but I've started it now ( too late to finish I expect ) - It looks as though quite a lot of effort has gone into the bugs, and it's a thumbs up from me

 

I really think this is a fun and amusing event! Like everyone we had no idea it was coming BUT that didn't stop me! I think the designers who thought this up are nothing short of brilliant! I am NOT a bug person BUT I think the critters running across my screen
are kind of cute, I think of them as lady bugs with a pearly looking body! Drops are VERY good and nice prizes! Thank you for a
great April Fools event! I am not sure if I will finish but I am having fun, just as a game should be!

 

It was cute the first time but fast became extremely annoying. Not only are the bugs everywhere they are slowing the game down to a crawl. I have been refreshing my page over & over with little results. Other web sites that I have been on are fine so it has to be farmerama. When my game turned upside down it became much worse. Thank goodness I was able to figure out how to turn that off though it did take a while. I was hoping all the side affects would go away after April Fools day but alas they were still there again this morning.
A big thumbs down from me!

 

1. KILL THE BUG'S

 

Ha! I was expecting something deranged...bugs were peeing me off after 10 minutes but it's okay; I'm hurrying through this to get rid of them. Everytime I killed a bug I got some ridiculous message from the bear then something went strange on the farm.
Ha Ha! good fun...is this for another 3 days? righ..t

 

Thought the pranks were fun, love the event. Love Mr drop rat, love the crop. Fun, fun fun!

I do see a lot of people complaining about well a lot of stuff, but I do think the bugs on pop up/change of fields should be able to be switched off just like the Christmas Snow. I don't have problem with more than usual lag, but I've had a huge cache cleaning and switched browser. Sadly there is a huge difference in how different browsers deal with flash. I was surprised to see how bad edge & explorer dealt with it. Was 100% pure pain. So yes, the running bugs should have been possible to turn off.

But two paws up for the event. Good one!

 

Playing the game has given me quite a few chuckles over the past days. Love the tricks and pranks provided in this event.
Decent requirements, drop rate and useful farm prizes makes it a nice event. Thanks!

 

Hummmm I understand some of the complaints and yea it could have come with a turnoff feature, that I would not have used even if it were provided. Bugs are not my favorite thing on the planet but I know it will be over in a couple days, I can deal...they are not real. I did notice a small lag but thought it was just me, now I see it was a by-product of the event bug (oops sure you didn't mean for that to happen.)
I have enjoyed the fun.
With lack of information in the FAQ I was taken by surprise when after I gave the cute polar bear a candy cane (freebie) my world became upside down. I didn't even notice at first. Where my yak was it appeared to be some giant white bird of a sort caught my eyes (that don't see well to start with had to put on my glasses) there was only a perfect square that could be seen because of the trees. Interesting indeed. Although I was here and there felling a bit dizzy (strange effect) I was having fun with setting different things up (wasted a lot of event time BUT oh well I was in screenshot heaven).
Glade I already had a heartache in the past over missing inventory or I would have freaked when I notice anything to do with animals was all gone, down to their food.
Totally disoriented with the upside down map. I had to keep laughing at myself. I was really glad that I had already figured out how to move on to the next prank. I might have lingered with the upside down fields but the map, now that was going too far hahahha.
It's great getting OWL's I don't get many of them.
All in all, I give this event 9.85 (of10) Thanks for your hard work it was not lost on me.
PS: sooo much better then last years event.
