New runes on Tree of wisdom

One of the best new runes to unlock with stars - In my opinion - is the one that increases the number of crops you can buy in the shop. It takes quite a number of stars and you need to at least unlock one rune for 5% extra EP on mainland, but is definitely worth it!

What would you invest your stars in?

 

I increased the water twice. Increase crops is next.

 

Maxed out my manure pile, and I'm going to go for the seed shop max increase. Mulling over getting the Magic Tree because I only have one, but that's an expensive tree considering what the one I bought with farm coins cost me .

Just FYI, once you've worked your way up the tree high enough we only have to open the mainland crop EP rune for 75 stars (no EP change from those 75 stars tho), and then the seed shop rune becomes available, so it was not too painful to get there.

 

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean here? The rune should give +5% EP on everything you harvest on the main field.

I also completed the shopping spree rune. Can now buy 9,000 a month of a lot of crops at a fraction of the market price Extended water tank to 400, finally! I usually have 400 1x1 plots with crops on mainland, it has been so annoying that the water tank didn't hold enough water for all of them. Then I also got the 10% less growing time for mainland trees. Not that it makes much difference for 20 hour trees (I don't have auto tree harvest), but great for 12 hour trees. Finally I had enough stars for +5% EP on all of the mainland fields. Those runes will be my priority for a while. Not really interested in faster wonder trees (bit weird that wonder stables isn't either included or separate rune for that, not that I care). Don't really need scented tree or magic tree, but can always get them later.

 

Woops Mir, I re-checked, yah it did give me the first level of EP increase, my bad.

I pay for premium and have unlimited water... but am still limited to 14 PF per mill slot, will increasing my water via the new rune change the amount of PF I can mill per slot?

Yes Peeps, bigger water tank= more PF in one go.

I'll go for the... Faster trees. Auto harvest, and speed is great. Total stars required: 625
After that I'll go for manure pile. Total stars required: 540
Then I'd probably go for the shopping which is "only" 350 stars
Then it's the EP Main 450, Meadow 450, Glade 450

after that I'm sure it's time for some more runes. I only have 981 and I still have a lot of breeding runes to open.

Plans are made to be changed.

 

Thanks Moraine, I think I'm gonna pass on the water tank upgrade. I'm usually only milling PF in my mainland mill anyway. And I'm in there MILLING EVENT ITEMS all the time anyway so I can check on my 3 slots of 14 PF while I'm in there. That's plenty, I think?

 

PeepsCA, how do you get 16? I only can mill 14 with premium.

 

LOL.. you're right baw, it's 14. I think I took the 6 from the 63 hrs and carried it over, lol. I am spun today, too much going on at once and too much high octane coffee

With almost 3 events running at the same time, you must be over fuelled and over energized The Duracell bunnie will come in second if you were to race

 

@Moraine My go-go juice aka high octane fuel is... Pony Express Coffee from The Thanksgiving Coffee Company lol, (a local coffee roasting company in my home town on the Northern California Coast, USA).

 

Finally, something to spend my "worthless" stars on. LOL If I hadn't taken my year long vacation. I would have been able to open everything. I was still able to open everything except the water & manure, and since I pay for premium - no big deal.


The one exception: Yesterday, when I added everything up. I had enough to open the BB tree. When I opened it last. I was 82 stars short. Boo-hoo. If I had noticed, I was short. I would have opened only 1 Scented tree since I have about 30 of them. Oh-well, I have 10 BB trees so no big deal. Now I have something to work towards.

 

@sglick... It's a Magic Tree it gives event drops and EP/TEP.
I wish it was BB tree tho!!!

You have to understand that I have been playing for a very long time. In the early days they kept changing the names of things. Plus, I have dyslexia and I am of that age were forgetfulness is setting in. I am lucky to get the name of anything correct.

So much going on...events, trying to do quests, fill up the barn and pantry...haven't had a look at the tree of no wisdom yetHmmmm what to do???

 

I went hog wild and got all the Wonder Tree Prosperity, Tree Prosperity, Shopping Spree, Mainfield-Green Meadow-Magical Glade EP and used 2,725 Stars. Just got done shopping and buying in quantities of 300.
