Full speed ahead

We're all different people. And remember:We do not have to take part in every event. Mix and match to fit you. Not the other way around. It is okay to miss out. Plenty of events = increased odds that each can take part in one event - if they want to.
The event preview is not a to do list. It's a menu to chose from. I doubt anyone of us goes into a restaurant looking at the menu and go "dang I have to eat 3 starters, 5 main course and 7 desserts"

 

Today was my last working day. Had a hetic day. And from tomorrow I have a month loooooong summer vacation. So happy. So from tomorrow I can try to frame strategy for this event and other events too.

If my math is correct I need/want about 450 drops and 3300 crops It's 44 drops to get the last train for the CR. Just waiting on that to activate the CR. The rest is just WANTING the stuff I really really want that train to put in my MM giver field (brain can't think what it' called) Yes, next month looks busy but I doubt I will do the recyclomat

Scratching my head, here.
Normally in such non-linear events I either go for the CR (not necessarily with everything on it) OR the decors (without CR. ) This way, I can wait for the next trade event, and either I can get the missing items, or I can sell what I have to other players. Complementing each other, right?
Now, this event screws this strategy. If you want the cloud row tile, you need access to the two furthest factories, and the cr tile itself. Which means, my future trade partners will be VERY close to having access to the entire train track, which means they'd have very few decors missing. Which means I need to figure what they won't have. Fun.
(Anyway, all these trains, esp the Iron Horse and the Ghost Train look super stunningly amazing, so maybe I'll just get them all if I can.

 

I decided to go for the CR and required EPs so I skipped the factories. The Iron Horse and Ghost Train are not required for the CR but if I have time I will try for them too. I will try for the factories last which means I won't get too much from them; if I make it that far.

 

The Ghost Train, regardless if everyone gets it from the event or not will still be a very sought after deco giver during G&T... it gives high EP/TEP AND it can be placed in the Haunted Manor.

 

That is why I mainly want it, Peeps. It can be placed in Haunted Manor I just got my CR done and running. There is 2 tracks in my barn so I need 8 more for the Ghost train. Still need 2 more tracks after that if I want the 10 Crates (#16) Depending on drops will determine if I get the last few steps done My Tungsten stables gave no rhino, giraffe, or lion Looks like I will be coughing up 250 Farm coins for another giraffe

 

Done with Chemist and need only 56 drops to get over the speed...Good luck to everyone in the race

 

I have no idea where I am with this event ... trying to open the last factory so that I can (if I have enough of what is necessary!) get the CR and the Iron Train.
But whether I am on track (pun intended) is anyone's guess!
I did, however, win the +200% harvest today so I think I should be okay with the crops ... but nothing is certain!

I agree with you f2f, there is no let up to these back to back events. My problem is I just cannot resist!

Edit: Okay, I think I have found my destination now!

I have the three EP givers for the CR and will have the wherewithal for the CR after the next harvest and I just need 150 Rails to get the last Factory. Do-able!

So then I will plant longer crops and try to get the Ghost Train and/or the Iron Horse. I am feeling quietly confident ...

Second Edit: Just realised I just need 470 Rails to finish altogether and that is well within the ratios of what I have been receiving with planting two fields of event crops and my Glade so this is definitely a goer!

Who doesn't love a challenge!

Those things are a given, Moraine. The difficulty - which I think there is a 'name' for - is called EOCD. And it is very catching....actually, I think you said you had it.

WHICH one to choose??! How do I prepare my farm?? Should I do THIS one to benefit the farm? Should I do THAT one because it looks like more fun?...or THIS one over here, or 3 of them, or 4.....etc.! Any answer would be o.k......so, how do you choose if you are tempted to do them ALL(EOCD) and they are all of equal value?..............EOCD.stressssssssss

These are just my thoughts on the matter.......would like to hear how others make their choices...

Drops are all collected on both farms but somehow still need to grow crops

 

LOL. This morning, to my surprise, that was the case on my farm as well. Seems drops were decent when having long timers overnight. Glad I only needed 1 more round which is now done. Collected all but the stars. Happy to have 3 days of normal farming ahead after the event crops 4 days in a row.

Habalala, how come three days of normal farming? Doesn't this end on Tuesday? Isn't there another one starting Wednesday? Am I missing something? No change there!

Edit: Unbelievable - just offered three lots of manure! I was the lowest bid - 4,000 CCs a poop!

 

Sunday leftover (.5), Monday (1), Tuesday (1), Wednesday prior next event (.5) .. makes about 3 full days for regular crops, pens and the such.

Poo on my market did over 3k on the second day, ever since it's up and down 1,500 -2,500. I sold a few here and there, didn't bother to buy.

 

Aargh! I thought I was going to get my CR first thing this morning but apparently I have to finish the loop on the Stellar Train first. A bit confusing as to why because it looks to me like the train should be able to just pull straight in there because that is the direction it is traveling.

 

Wow! That's amazing you guys got your drops I still need 206 if I want it all. Still need 3 tracks as I have 9 in the barn (10 for Ghost train & 2 for the 10 Crates) and then another 140 rails (Iron Horse & PF) I was glad to see that players could get the CR and items needed without having to do the whole thing
