To start with the positive, glad we can win two of each neon stable :)

But, mice requirements are far too high :( EV for mice are around 1/3 of EV for cats and bears, yet the total value required is the same for all.

Finishing the mouse part takes either
    • 11,297 mice  or
    • 1,271 spotted mice :wuerg: or
    • 463 kitchen mice >:(

This breeding was hectic. At start I put relatively similar amounts of the three animals in the breedery, the bears were awesome (I got three or four polar bears in the event, and one bearista) in the second set the cats were cooperative too (relatively, what can you ecpect from cats? ) I got a few scottish folds. But not the mice!!!
When I had all the locks I need for the entire event, and bought up every rodent from the market and the mouse side was still missing, I put ten more sets of mouse in the breedery. And then, somehow, finally, they started jumping and I got a chef and some jerboa and I even have some leftover from the event.

I used to love the neon events but the requirements have become too high for poor rewards. If you want to get us to donate that EV total then you should at least add a second neon stable.

There is an extra of each neon stable together with the cloud row if you complete the last step.

I love all types of breeding events. While I don't love the appearance of the neons, I do love the effect of them, and so I strive to have all of them. The requirements have gone up and up and up. I feel like there has certainly been an increase in the rewards as well, but it's less of our choice how hard to work for them. The requirements for the mice being the same as for cats and bears, but with such a lower level of EV, that was harsh. Doable, yes, but harsh. I like for things to be a stretch. Frankly, I like being able to have things that a casual player can't get, it makes me feel special. But this was a little bit of a push. Like to see it toned back to the level maybe two neon events ago.

The neon pens no longer appeal to me because they are continuing to have a dark and gloomy look about them, nothing compared to the earlier ones that are bright and flashy.

I don't think I am going to do the EVENTS ... am getting a little bit fed up with sitting at a computer while the sun is out
AND have never liked the neons and never will

I for one am very discouraged by the escalation of requirements for events. These are relatively obscure animals that most people don't have time or room to accumulate in great quantities and to start out at 200000 is just brutal. When you go back to the FAQ archive for previous neon events, the increase has been almost exponential. Clearly the purpose is to force the purchase of baskets but the blatant grasping at our wallets is getting tiresome, particularly following so closely on the heels of the shamefully poor service given to your already paying customers.

Very poor event this time. Insane numbers and nothing decent to grab along the way which would justify doing at least a few steps. Wrong way to go. Together with poor skips compared to previous breedings, that means you can count me out.

Hey, more time to enjoy sunny weekend. It's beautifull thing not to be addicted to a game. :) I recomend that to everybody. :)

The requirements really were very high and for the first time ever, I had to buy a basket (not enough bears in my barn - which I could have planned for a bit better :p). I usually only buy PFs, never the event baskets...

I love that I now have 3 new neons (or six if you count 2 of each) but it was a stretch to get there. Had to buy things in the market to complete a few FSQs in order to get enough PF... (only bought the medium basket of PFs) - Spent close to 15 mil CCs... :wuerg::eek::oops: xD

Please consider making the requirements per animal correspond with their EVs, that would make people less angry and grumpy about the ridiculous requirements for these neon stalls.

Requirements were too high. Especially the mouse:wuerg: Even after breeding to get the cloud row and 2nd Neon pen for additional locks, my breeding animals inventory is just sad. Previous Neon events awarded the Neon on the 3rd step but this one was step 5. So many animals, so much PF:oops:

For those with healthy stocks of animals and/or PF, they could have kept on breeding for additional givers but there is a limit of how many we can get. Bears take so long that additional givers that work as buffs to reduce that time would have been very much appreciated. It is also disappointing that they are not included in Gift and Trade.

Was it worth it? I don't know. Everyone will have to decide that for themselves. My skips were terrible so had I not had a good stock of both base animals and breeding levels, this would have been impossible. It has taken such a toll that it will take time to recover. Am I happy to have new stables? Normally, yes. Right now....just tired. :sleepy:

I agree. Trying to get 875,000 worth of mice for the last step is far too high and shows a lack of knowledge by the developer that he/she would set the requirements the same as for cats and bears.
You have to Stop rushing the development of all these events and put more thought into what you are asking to be donated.
    Quality over quantity, people!

    :music:
I am having trouble breeding enough mice
I thought I'd made conditions just nice!
with more than enough food to suffice...
cheese and biscuits and a side order of rice!
    :D
But maybe it's the cats in the next stall,
or worse, the noisy bears down the hall !
the poor mice must be worried about baby survival
when kittens use baby mice, instead of a ball...
    :music:
I often worry about setting up stuff.
What should go where, without things getting rough
No! Those wolves cannot go next to those sheep!
the poor woolly things won't get any sleep!
    xD

This event is boring and the stables are ugly - I'm losing interest in the whole game lately

I did finish this one but I agree that the requirements for the mice were way off:(:( I wasn't forced to do this but I started and somehow kept going till I felt it was too late to NOT finish:oops: But I have decided that if this is how much the requirements are going to be to win a Neon pen, then I won't be doing the event.

Have enough Love locks for the last step but I just can't get there -- still need the 875,000 -- would have loved to received a nice skip but that was not the case.

I was able to finish the last 2-3 breeding events but even with all the prep just can't get this one done.

Hoping to wake up to PF gifts from neighbors who bought it -- spent all my extra love locks on PF at the shop and most of the PF offers have disappeared from the farm wheel.

    UPDATE:
Farm 1 received a good skip and was able to complete the entire event. I have 2 each of all the new neon pens.
This farm (Farm 2) also needed the last step for the mice to complete the level but few skips and no good ones.
Farm 3 needed the last step for both bears and mice. Same no skips and not enough animals.

I could have purchased a basket or PF to finish but I have been thinking about doing away with Farms 2 and 3 quitting altogether so I haven't been spending any money. Compensation packages are fine but I would prefer the game runs smoothly without the added frustration/stress.

:oops:Well I messed up on this one:(
-- I was thinking the event was ending but it was the Baby Boom that was ending -- cashed in all my love locks and I even donated mice for a quest. I might be able to get the missing pens for Farms 1 and 2 by the end but since I cashed in those locks I seriously doubt if I can finish this one and get the double pens.

Already started prep on next month's breeding -- but if requirements are high it will be the same problem. I just finished a quest that required peacocks and fans be furnished so I am really short on them and I haven't been able to set out all my pens in a long time because of the back to back events. Milling: can hardly keep up with feed needed to mill event items and PF.

Dissapointed that mice requirements were way off mark, happy I got other neons..I do prefer them just because they save on space and get 4 animals per pen.

Hopefully another lesson BP check the EV levels before setting requirements

I didn't think I had any chance of getting anywhere but as I had saved up lots of PF, for a change, I thought I would see how far I got. I hadn't prepared at all and my base animal stock was pretty low - but I did a bit of breeding, donated and little by little I made it. :)

Not sure if the rewards I got were worth all the animals (base and coloured) and PF but as I like the challenge of an event, this for me was okay. I made it and have got the prizes to prove it. :music:

If I hadn't had as much PF, maybe I would be on the other side of the fence and feeling frustrated for not being able to participate. Just as I have always said, these types of event do not encourage further spending, just the same people will spend and those that might spend may not if they feel that the requirements are too high.

For me, a good event but the skips in these breeding events are pretty stingy! 8)
