I've started the event, but the drop rate is pathetic for tiaras, so I can't see me completing this one

I am of mixed feelings on this event. I love the dynamic and the way that we get to choose which tasks we pursue for the rewards we want. The variety and quality of prizes is great also. I do not like that there is no logical progression of the things that are asked for - there are items farther along that lower level players might have, but they cannot get to them because they can't get past high level requirements early on. I think the people in charge of developing the events, being that they are granted farms with everything available, don't tend to think along those lines. I do not either, as I have everything opened that can be opened - but it would make more sense to make the lower levels have simpler requirements, building to tougher demands, so that every player could at least do a little bit.

My two biggest complaints are most definitely that this was sprung upon us with zero chance to prepare. Given the recent drama, that is unforgivable. But on top of that, the drop rate, about which I almost never have a complaint, is horrendous. I know that we are given two weeks to complete this event - which I rather like, because it is low pressure, I can continue to keep trees and pens out and work on other goals - but when an entire field of event crops - EIGHT HOUR event crops - yields one drop - that is absurd. I do like the eight hour crop, I know a lot of people do not, but it allows me long periods of time to set and forget, and makes it feasible to grow event crops overnight.

I do like the recent trend toward events that only use one half of the farm, allowing us to continue farming normally on the other half. I would like to see that continue, particularly if we are going to continue to have events pretty much all the time. I would hope that after the experiences of the past week, it is time to listen to the players who feel that they are overloaded, the demands of individual events are overloading, and now, the system has been overloaded. If the fun comes back to the farming, the enthusiasm will return, and the players will be motivated to play more, and sometimes to spend more.

I like the way the event is set up.

I like being able to choose which totem to do and which prizes to go for. The only drawback is that someone may choose a totem they can't finish because an item is unavailable to them. The prizes in the higher level totems are nice.

The drop rate is mighty low, but it is a longer event so I am hopeful that I get enough.

at level 4 - am I right in thinking if I can't afford a mammoth and I haven't got Langsat then I can't continue ? That must rule out a lot of people.

That's right, but you have over 10 days to generate the CC to buy the mammoth. In my market they sell for about 5M CC, that's not a huge amount with market prices so high these days. But yes, lots of players are excluded from most of this event because they don't have enough statues unlocked in the monkey temple.

i'm on level three and can't advance because i don't have plumeria trees unlocked from the temple:cry: and the rest of the totems are locked. i was really enjoying this one and the prizes were good, and the amounts reasonable. then i picked one i couldn't finish and now i guess i'm out of luck because i have two more trees to unlock...well it was fun while it lasted..:sleepy:

well this turned out to be no fun, only on level 2 and picked the wrong totem as I have not (nor plan to as most breeding takes forever and have high requirements) unlocked panda breeding so I can not even buy the needed panda. NO fun at all and based on the comments above, glad I planted other crops. Very disappointed.

This is EXACTLY how I feel. Getting so sick of the escalating and in your face greed of BP. I spent a small fortune on Neon event and still not able to finish. About to walk away from the game all together. And so are a couple of other friends. And we are all premium subscribers!!!

Drops are disgraceful. I just harvested full Rainforest and baha both with four Howies, and I got 5 tiaras and One measly tiara from the baha field. Boo Hoo !

I love everything about this Event. Graphics are tops. A player can choose a suitable prize. I personally think that the drop rate is low as it is adjusted to the length of time allocated to this Event. There would have been a lot of bored players wondering what to plant on Bahamarama. Terrific that we can go on with normal farming on the farm-fields. Well done, well perceived. Thank you for a terrific Event.

You could plant more more of each tree if you want to finish... these are ordinary trees you can buy with CC, so you are not restricted to just a few. I don't find 160 fruits from ordinary trees to be at all ridiculous, 1,600 would be a stretch, 16,000 would be ridiculous. In my opinion that is :p
