I will not finish - won't even get the CR unless I get a +200% Harvest from the wheel or if the event is extended by a day or two!

Oh well, can't win them all. I would have been fine if I had cleared Crystal Falls but I didn't and it's too late now. Even in hindsight, I don't think I would have done it. Too much like hard work!

Does this mean I'm cured?

 

I also won't finish. Not nearly enough of the endless crops.

22h left, I think I'll manage the CR. Had so much idle time on the farm I'm surprised. But I did clear all Crystal Falls for the event. I don't mind as I buy the harvester, AND have premium => picture. So not work. Costly but I still feel the need to water the lettuce

 

Still need 1900 crops to finish. Will make the finish line. No bonuses from wheel. Best of luck to all!!

 

I Got a 100% harvest bonus this afternoon so I've used all the precious green drops I've saved up and I'm hoping to finish - or at least get enough of the event crop to get the octopus stall - that's where I'm at on the right side - step 75...after that just 5 more steps on the left and I'll have the cloud row...I don't know if I'm going to get that or not. We'll see. Might be up in the middle of the night farming.

Nah...I don't have EOCD...not at all. heavy sigh.

 

Gggrrr! How frustrating! I am 1 Pearl from getting the 10 GB's that I really want. I hope one of my nice neighbors sends me a Pearl before I go to bed. LOL


I guess I doing better than I thought. I have finished the Left side & I'm on 73 on the Right. I put the last round of crops in, but I don't think I will be able to harvest in time. I'd have to get up at 5AM (me's thinks - not so good with the Math - LOL)


Oh Well I got 2 Octopusses during the last stable thingy.

I am sorry that this event has caused so much hardship for so many. I would be so much more enjoyable to share my successes when everyone else is succeeding too.

If there are any smart math people, can you tell me. Do you think I can get 15,000 crops when I harvest my next round of Baha crops. I have planted everything on the Main Island and everything on the Rainforst. On Crystal Falls, I planted the event crop on everything except 3 2x2s. (Manufacturing, Manageere & Arboretum)

 

Get the CR, still wait for last round of harvest to do some more step on left side. Then will
ended my process on this event, even I may have 1-2 hr remains.
I know I could finished event if I use SG on the crop from now, then I can make 3 more round of
harvest, but why?
To finished, I need to have around 4400 event crops. Now I estimate after I harvest the event crop,
Can do step 57, may be I could mill 1 more billiant pearl, mill the 2nd one look very tight.Even I could
mill the 2nd one, it only give me 4 copper wonder stables which I had already got those rare stables,
for the prize remains, I consider it is not so attractive to using my SG to achieve.

 

I got the CR . Did all the right side and 45 on the left, so got the octopus pen . Not enough time for me to finish any further and I've had to use BB's to bypass certain requirements as it is to get this far . Wish BP had ran this event for the same time as Farm Work 101!

 

Finished! This farm never did get a harvest bonus and believe me I tried. I spun the wheel so many times, I think I might have broken one of the sails I did use some SG on the next to last harvest in order to get in another crop overnight. I needed 1900 to finish (1500 for last step and one pearl). I know we all like to have the least amount of crops left over that we can to minimize extra crops but I had 1903! Enough to finish but just by the skin of my nose. Likely, I should have dismantled CR a day earlier than I did but for some reason, this time around, I had trouble judging if I was on track for both events. Brain fog sometimes keeps me puzzled but I just keep going and hope for the best. Thanks to all who submit strategies and comments about their farm experience. It does help me put my own into perspective.

 

I was lazy and slackin' big time on these last 2 events... (slept in, missed/late harvests etc), but I'm now the proud hoarder of my 1st Octopus, and 2 more Hummingbird pens (both farms). The other event's done n dusted as well... but since I had extra crops, drops n pears to spare I cashed them in and ended up with a few extra trees and stables woot woot!

NEXT! Bring it on BP!!!

 

@PeepsCA , I haven't quite finished the farm work event, how did you cash the surplus in once you'd finished the event or did you mean you did enough to get the CR then completed it totally to get the other rewards?

 

Finished CR - Didn't get both sides completed because I ran out of crops. I at least got the Octopus! Yeah!

 

Finished the entire event, except the last step on the left for extra hummingbirds. A few more hours and I would have completed it. Oh well, no big loss.

 

Finished with the blessing of 200% harvest bonus for 12 hours and a plus one harvest bonus for 6 hours. Even got in a few crops for storage. Glad to see many have finished or obtained the CR.
Pnp - I have a bent sail on the wheel as well; worked it hard for days and missed the bonus many times before my luck hit. Sorry you didn't get one.

 

I did it all - I grew to much as per usual, so I figured I should spend it all. Then an hour before it ended, I harvested and noticed I only needed one more harvest..... so I whipped up some SG and went for it. Shooger confirmed I did make it

So now Otto is enjoying his new home and Trudy & Betty sit very quiet in the inventory and waiting for some sunlight. Maybe tomorrow.

 

I so happy this morning that many were able to make valiant efforts and made it. Yea! It is the best feeling that keeps us so hooked and wanting more.

I was like PNP. No wheel help came my way. I couldn't sleep last night so around 1AM. I harvested my last 3 field. I got about 1900 events crops and only needed 1500 so I went over. LOL
