I see something you may do to advance in rank again:

Simply ask One-Two to acknowledge that she is your mentor and perhaps share her experience briefly.
You made no mention of any animal stalls or workshops. It only takes 44 on the meadow.

Perhaps the two above are simple for you to complete and will advance you and your mentor to Gold.

You should now find that your farm is shaping up. While testing, the farms that did well had Baha levels in excess of 105. I encourage you to try and relax and continue to be aware of the ep. Also, as you begin your trip up the tree of wisdom, the Baha quests will provide you with hundreds of stars. There is really no need to chase after ep-expensive mainland stars.

 

Hey, I have a bone to pick with you Mr. Broke. Maybe it's a fish bone. I only need to complete 7 tasks to be silver so even if the mentor acknowledgment is not totally fulfilled. I still have completed 7 tasks.

EDIT: Eee-gads - the paddles are coming in to quick!!!!! I already have 17 of them. Unfortunately, I already ate a CAC and A Green Maheto. Plus, I have 8 hr left on the harvester so I will continue farming on BAHA today, but then I will take a vaca till this drasted swirl event is over. LOL

sglick, the Big Swirl V2 event is the perfect event for the farmer_broke event participants. As long as you DO NOT grow event plants on the mainland! All event rewards are TEP [NO EP is awarded] or other useful items. Just be sure to donate everything & don't complete it!

sglick, That was my total intention, I have some RL actually I have HL to catch up on and my inheritance's vacation is coming
to a close so she will be home soon, RL in 3D, hahah

I played hard the last two events on all my farms; I had a blast and won a bunch of great stuff for the farm.
I think the best thing was the +3 on flowers. BUT that fun comes with a cost fooling around at the WorldCup

and kicking-it down by the pond doing some fishin', just might have fattened up the barn a good bit BUT it also has
got me farther behind in HL (House/HomeLife). (HomeLife consist of HouseWork and such
Between WL (WorkLife) and GL (GameLife) I'm not sure which one pulls me from HL more.
After the hard play, I thought I should tend HL before my beloved g-doe gets home. BUT what do I go and do??
I go and read the forum and now I feel I want to at least reach for the stars
Speaking of stars boy oh' boy do I wish I was a heavy RM spender. There are all kinds of stars to be bought.

I shall have to do that but I really though 12s had already done so. I'm looking and I feel I'm overlooking it.

I was waiting until I have all 44 required. As of now I only have 42. I'm looking way into the future and have a post-event plan and have requested the last two workshops just this morning.

Haven - I'm with you . I want to paint. I need to paint, but what do I do. I read the forum & post. This distraction is to let the 1 minute go back so I can harvest the event crops that I planted on Siouxzen.

There done now so more excuses.- Right!!! LOL

Farm Update:
I now have all 44 pens/workshops (thanks 12s) and water tanks placed on Two Ponds (meadow) will post picture.

6,850 EP from leftover fish, Oh My
I accidentally received a couple lures and decided the best way to handle this was to play them away bad bad mistake. Not only did I end up burning through my leftover BBs I had from my newbie pack I ended up collecting thousands of EPs more then if I would have just eaten the couple of drops I received.
It was like a bad nightmare I keep getting fish that didn't match so I keep fishing trying to get matches and it was getting worse and worse with every casting... I was like an addict I could not stop myself I'm such a fool so, now I'm 1394 EPs away from completing level 21. and my crying had begun BUT I will dry me tears away sniff sniff and never do anything like that again. Lesson learned. SMH why must I always go to the school of hard knocks??

Poor Haven - learning is not always fun Thanks for sharing your saga.

I am afraid something simalar will happen to me with this event. I accedently got 89 extra crops so do I try to get the 80 needed paddles to do the next level or do I just take the 89 event crop hit. My fear is that I will only get 70 paddles and then be stuck with taking a 70 paddle hi along with the 89 event crop hit.

After writing this out & remembering that paddles are 15 EP and event crops are only 5 EP, I am better off just taking the event crop hit.

Haven thanks for sharing your plight. It has made me make a good decision about knowing when to quit a folly.

With all this said, PLEASE DO NOT send me anymore paddles.

 

You can make partial donations. And you should be able to donate event crop to Trophy! Hope you're able to rid yourselves of those pesky EP.

Extra crops is easy to deal with... just plant them and then delete them, straight away, 89 crops dealt with. Just remember to get rid of the new 5 the system gives BUT if you do forget 5 is better then 89 .

Thanks for the optimism about how to get rid of the 89. That is the point I was trying to make (obviously not very well - LOL).

The game will only let us donate paddles or event crops. We can't donate both at the same time. If I could, YEA, my problem would be solved.

Right now, I am on the level were I need to donate 80 paddles to get an EP giver. It would be great to get. It would be great to get exactly 80 paddles, because then I could get rid of the 89 event crops by donating them.

If I did get to donate the 89, what if I got another 2-3 paddles. Not so good, again.

I have thought this thru every possible way. I think my best option is to request no one send me paddles & I donate the ones that I get from harvesting. Accept that I am gone to take the hit and mover on.

BTW, this big of a hit will move me from level 18 to 19. Boo-hoo!

 

I am trying to post what is reasonable is all. You did nothing to bother me. You and many others have been very patient and helpful. If you see a way to improve what is being done here then please let us know.

There was no way to donate to the crop trophy on the farms I checked. I vaguely remember Beeps stopping that action. I may be wrong.

There lies the problem with drops. BP earns revenue by selling drops because they are needed by some. I recommend getting rid of most of the crops. Also, if you continue harvesting anything you will receive even more drops.

I have a farm that has nearly 500 crops now and more than enough drops. I am going to submit the crops, then submit the drops for the next level, then submit whatever crops come my way each day and STOP everything. The farm will take an EP hit from the drops. It will survive.

If a farm continues to get into a situation like this then the farm will be limited to the rank it receives.

serendibite - But I am from India not Srilanka. But still the aborgines of Srilanka are Tamils. So next we (Haven & I ) will take that too. But what is serendibite used for ? Any idea ? Only that it is a rare gem. I can't seem to find any ?
