It seems to me that the ingame description of the hedgehog pet bonus does not match the observed bonus.

To explain what I mean, consider the following bonuses for super grow:
    • White innocence: "Better results from your super grow. Bonus: 10%".
This bonus adds 10 percentage points to the efficiency of super grow. With white innocence the efficiency of super grow goes from 60% to 70% (with rune but no other bonuses).
    • Fruit cake and chestnut cloud row have similar effect and similar language.
"Better results from your super grow. Bonus: 5%", adds 5 percentage points to the efficiency.
    • The refinement SG love: "Increases the effectiveness of super grow by 25%." What this does is increase the effectiveness from for instance 60% to 60%*1.25= 75%.
    • Similar language is used for other refinements improving water and manure with similar results.
The description of the fully upgraded hedgehog pet says: "20% increased efficiency for Suzy's turbo-mulch". Based on the above examples I would interpret that as turbo mulch efficiency is increased from 35% to 35%*1.20 = 42%.

However, a mod in the DE forum tested the fully upgraded hedgehog pet and reported that the effect of turbo mulch was 55% with the buff active, indicating that 20 percentage points were added to the effectiveness of turbo mulch.

If that is the intended effect of the pet, the description of the fully upgraded pet should (in my opinion) be: "Better results from Suzy's turbo-mulch. Bonus: 20%", to keep in line with the other descriptions already in the game.

My question is, what is the intended effect of the buff? A 20% increase or +20 percentage points? If it is the latter, can the language please be changed to match the other descriptions? Ideally the correct term "percentage points" (not %) would be used in the description of white innocence, fruit cake and similar buffs.

I'm not just nitpicking, we have been in the situation before (with the valentine cloud row) where the effect was changed after the sale, with the justification that the effect did not match the description.

PS. The description of the snailien launchpad pet might have the same problem.

    Hello -Mir85-,

The Pet increases the Efficiency of Suzy's Turbo-mulch. The Buffs always refer to a percentage in the description, never points - Points is a term derived by players to calculate the bonuses. I will ask for further confirmation from the Game Team the exact calculation of the Pet.

I will update once I have confirmation.

If you could forward my whole post that would be very helpful.

The issue is not how the calculation is made, I understand that. The problem is that it doesn't match the description. The description says 20% increase, while the effect right now is +20 percentage points, those are not the same thing.

BTW, "percentage points" is a real mathematical unit for measuring the difference of two percentages.

I have verifies with the Game Team and the 20% effectiveness is added to the 35% effectiveness of Suzy's Turbo-mulch, giving a total of 55% percent effectiveness.

    Can I assist you further?
