A few general questions I consider usefull as initial feedback:

What's the point in introducing a new mainland crop by running an event on bahamarama?
What's the point for a new mainland crop when there is not a single use for it introduced as well? No FSQ, no feed requirement, no nothing.
Why should any player particpate in an event which hands out 10, yet useless, crops every 200 hours?

Maybe this event is held for game futures which will occur in the future. If so it would've been nice to be informed about it, even without being too specific, otherwise participating in this event right now is just a black hole..

Regardless of how this event goes, starting a new event on land that is being used for the last day of an already running event is just hateful. There's absolutely no reason this event couldn't have been delayed, at least starting at the end of the event, but overlapping? Mean, wrong and shows absolutely no regard for the many, many players who are still trying to complete the existing event.

Ummm, excuse me, but the other event is still running. I have not finished it yet and not sure I will due to the impossible amount of Loud Speakers I still need. So why on earth are you starting another event? Now my neighbors are giving me things I don't need as gifts instead of the Loud Speakers - that I do need to finish this event!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?????:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I like events as much as the next farmer but I totally agree with stacymaya if you have worked so hard to get those speakers
(and I did) and really need the neighbor gift of Loud Speakers to finish up this event it really stinks if you start getting the gifts for the next event! We don't always have time to communicate to our neighbors what gifts we need! I really hope you re-think over
lapping events using the same fields and requiring different event gifts!

And you wonder why your customers are so angry with you!!!!!! This is outright INSANE!!!! You are literally CHEATING us out of the allotted time for the quests. Or you are forcing us to quite early the one we have already invested our barn supplies into!! How is this "RIGHT" or "ACCEPTABLE" in your minds???????????????>:(>:(>:(

I see, bigpoint, that you caught on to our little trick.
When an Event is an FSQ or has an FSQ as a companion, we can skip the Gold/Diamond tasks of any that do not give the Event goal item(s).
With this event, you have placed the largest amount of crops needed in the Silver Task. I very much appreciate that the same does not apply to the Drops.
Our little trick was mostly helpful to newer farmers, and Busy with Real Life farmers, just to give them a Chance to Succeed.
Please do not do this again. All Events should be Fun for All.

overlapping isn't great but for people like me who gave up on the alien quest I was looking forward to this only to find I can physically only produce less than a 5th of the required fern to complete. I know it is due to my level limitations and incomplete quests but it's annoying to see the nice rewards and not be able to get them yet. I guess a mods answer to that would be to buy some fern. Ah well.

This is BP's way of now forcing us to purchase their packs in order to complete any events now.

If it is too difficult to complete a quest some people might not even attempt them. Consequently, they might stop playing the game. On the other hand, if the quests are too easy, there is no challenge for more experienced players. It is a fine line.
(Can I slip in here a BIG THANK YOU to all of those players who sent me loudspeakers - I did finish the quest, eventually). :)

I should not have to wake up and get ~edit~ (angry) playing my farm. Running two events simultaneously has pushed me over the line!! Yes, I finished the event - THAT IS NOT THE POINT!! This is totally unfair. I just CANCELLED MY PERMIUM MEMBERSHIP DUE TO THIS OUTRAGEOUS ACT!!!!!!!!

LOL, all these long time farmers who have the ability to have the harvest helper and such are now just seeing that this game has become a money grab. Some have even criticized posts like mine for say this game is no longer FUN and they are now just getting it. Drop rates have been horrible for a year if not longer and the Starship event has been no different for non-premium players. The game is losing people and the tactics for the money grab is showing.

Yes BP did screw us by putting higher demands on the 1st step (silver step) of each quest task, overlapped another event instead of concurrent events, and have high crop requirements as is the new normal so why be surprised?
