This event runs for 42 hours in 2 days.
Starting at 16:00 CEST and ending at 10:00 CEST means it includes 2 nights.
42 hours minus 16 hours of sleep = 26 hours effective play time.

Growing enough event crops for decoration without excessive use of farm goodies will take at least 15 hours, assuming all needed drops are collected as well.
26 hours minus 15 hours = 11 hours effective mini game play time.

    That's not much time.

Everyone starting later as 16:00 CEST, everyone with work or whatever other RL duty and every player who doesn't like to spend a huge amount of farm goodies (SSG, SG ..) or cash on baskets during event duration will have even less time, if any.

Short run events are fine but requirements should match the time frame to give every player a chance to have fun with it.
Obviously that's not the case with this one.

I am not a happy bunny. I sincerely hope you will extend this event by at least a day. I have harvested one field of mainly trees and find the event has been held up. It was already a very short event without problems.

I have just harvested 3 fields full of stables and trees that produced no paper strips or basket drops. I have waited until everything was ready to harvest for this event.....no drops at all.

Time-frame please Teddy. It is 4 am here in NZ. Will it be minutes, hours, weeks or a Millennia?
Should I make a cup-of-tea or cook a Roast? xD

We thought that Bug Point creature had stay clam and do not visit farmers.
But "It" still here. May be the Carnival Queen attract it!
So, for this event, A sudden issue which call farmers shocked!
I had use a 12 hr harvester coupon for this event and now, I had to waste it as no one
know when the event will start.
It is near midnight in my time zone, I cannot keep awake for a unknow answer.
Hope BP will compensate for farmers like me.

Who packs the calendar full with lots of overlapping and parallel events, doesn't have to wonder, that there will be problems. BP you don't learn it, it seems!!
Not only are we wasting harvest helper coupons but also our buffs (fruit cake+white innocence), any kind of buff coming from cloud rows and most importantly.. Supergrow and Suzy Super Grow!!!!
With the problem occuring, time schedules are completely out of sync. I have three fields with event plants, which are ready to harvest, but when harvesting them now, I won't get ANY drop
And so on and so on.
I know, the mods are not the ones responsible for all the mess happening and you are only the poor guys getting all the frustration from us farmers.
But it is annoying and frustrating. This way BP won't get a lot of sales from me.
Sad.. very SAD.. a beautiful event messed up....
    Thumbs down for this!

EDIT: extending the event is not putting things right again. I am not the one, who is constantly shouting for compensation.. but enough is enough!
100 supergrow and 100 suzy supergrow WASTED and GONE ..for what? FOR NOTHING! I want to have it back!

ANOTHER EDIT: I have 209 paperstrips and 79 baskets. They are all out of my initial harvest, which I couold prepare properly.
I want to keep them (and I think, others want that too)

Used a 12 hr coupon and harvested a whole field of rosehips without drops... Grrr. That's in addition to running a short event during workweek only. Big thumbs down.

One of our most loved events gas been reduced to a measly 42 hours - most of which I will either be asleep or at work. Does nobody who works think these things through? It’s also yet another overlapping event - give me a break please.

    Poor start.

Hum.. Discard anything event crop related and give all players a fully decorated parade instead. Doesn't take much time and it might compensate for the mess.

I am not a happy bunny. This messes up my whole day and the 16-00 CEST start time no good at all. Why cram so many events on top of eachother? I don't like the way this game is going.

For the first time in this game I bought a basket. Now the event is cancelled, that's called false marketing, to be selling something that can't be used. Super tired of this game now.

Well, I've cooked a roast pork, with all the trimmings, Made a pavlova , eaten it all, then painted the house, learned a foreign language and I'm still waiting for the monkey Queen!.
I had my fields prepared for a 'drop-haul' and I will be most peeved if this event is dropped on us with no time to re-prepare. :wuerg:

As has been said above, why are so many events crammed on top of each other, when this is what happens every time that this is done? I like the idea above, of give us 24 hours of the carnival with no crops needed to be grown.

So many people have said this before, and you just don't listen !!! DO NOT give us back to back or overlapping events. Give us a few days in between events so that we can be the farmers that we signed up to be. You don't give us time to concentrate on getting a FSQ done, and yet you keep adding to them !! Let us do a little farming and you would find us all a lot more calm and willing to part with a bit of money instead of alienating us by giving out back to back, overlapping, or just too darn difficult for even the high rankers to complete unless they spend money ! This is not the way to keep your players and will lose you mega amounts of money. It's not good business sense to keep pushing the buy, buy, buy attitude. You would actually make more money if you slowed things down a bit so that maybe those that have unsubscribed, or even left the game, might just return and the game would start to thrive again. We didn't sign up for a click fest as we can get that on other sites. I love this game, it's unique, and luckily I don't suffer with OCD so I can actually say "nope not doing that"; but a lot of people have a natural urge to have to complete every event, and you are just frustrating them to the point that they just put their tools down and shut up shop.......Is this really what you want ?
The start to the carnival event was a real disaster and you have a whole load of very unhappy players.....hence the plea of please slow down a bit. It seems that it is not only the players that need to take a breather in between events. SLOW DOWN.... and maybe then make sure that any event that you put out is working smoothly and can be enjoyed by everyone.......as it used to be....
Rant over LOL :sleepy:... I'm exhausted .....

My feedback for this event is :
As I post on strategy thread, after slove the issue, if BP decided they want to sloved it,
and not just cancelled it !
Then, pls, Postpone this event to next month!
At least all effort the desginer team put on this event will not be ruined.

It still can be a good and lovely event expected by farmers.
But, compensatation is a must for this mess which cause basely on careless
    thought and not throughly tested.

    This is karma, baby.

When I first started reading this forum, there was a lot of talk about the monkey queen's generosity. People were talking about all the golden bananas they had stashed etc., and I was so envious. So when it was announced a second time, I was all in, eager to see if it lived up to the hype - and it totally did, best event ever. Then, somebodies got greedy, changed it up, scaling it down for the third iteration, less prizes, less generosity. Ruined the best event ever, congratulations -.-

And now, this. Instead of having people raving about how much fun this was, you have a disaster on your hands. Not sure about what the technical issue was, and in the end, it doesn't matter. It was karma.

P.s. re: the compensation package, you owe me a 48h machinery coupon and a CAC. At the VERY least!

Oh no BP I thought these issues were a thing of the past, but unfortunately not:mad:

1 very big PLEASE from me can we at least have 24 hours notice before event re-starts so that we can reprepare our farms.....not like the last time this happenened when all of a sudden the event had restarted and farmers were playing catch up.

COMMUNICATION is the key here BP

I started playing this game when I was 12. I didn't spend money on it because I didn't have my own money to spend. I thought that maybe when I did, I might consider buying some small bonuses here and there.

I turned 21 on Monday. I have my own money to spend, and have for quite some time. I've never spent a dollar of it on this game. And with the way you treat your players, I never, ever will.

I keep coming back because I am not an event player. I partake in them, and every now and then I might put in some effort, but I enjoy the actual farming. I'm here for that, not the events. I find it relaxing. So I'll keep coming back even if you completely destroy the events (what little good is left of them, anyway). I love this game in spite of the complete lack of respect for your players. I love this game in spite of the people who run it; not because of them.

If you can't even squeeze a dime out of an 8-year player, how on earth do you expect to entice newbies to spend their hard earned money? I have been loyal to this game yet I feel no sense of responsibility to pay you real money. I don't feel as though I owe you a thing. The reality is, my game style isn't often affected by your cacophony of stuff-ups, so I don't have white-hot anger against you. But players who DO play for events, and who DO pay real money, should be absolutely fuming at the way you treat them. No amount of money is enough for you; no matter what, you want more.

This is a free game, but I wonder how much longer it will stay that way. Already I am feeling it is so much harder for me to participate to the same extent without buying something to help, and that's WITH all the added bonuses that being a high level player affords me - like buffs, space, a higher store of manure + water, more supergrow etc. It should be getting easier, not harder, for me to participate. Yet I feel these events are harder than they were when I was in Year 7. I would not be the slightest bit surprised if, soon, it became like those apps that are "free" but need a multitude of in-game purchases to actually do what they're meant to do. I want to stay around as long as this game is open, but will I even be able to? Or will you force me to pay in order to have any reasonable participation - despite marketing yourselves as free?

The least you could do is make the events work.
