That's great. Because it seems I did the right think. I had a hetty week & got headache nearly everyday. It made me tender in my brain. So I took the event as it came without planning or thinking too much. Only after I saw the posts in the other thread about the bone event, I realised that using the cursed coin I had to play mini game with it. It was the next day after the event started. Thanks to those who put it there. Stating the simple obivious thing is also very useful to others as it was to me. Its today that I am back to normal.

 

Thanks Habalala, I think we are going after the same things! I am working on layer 7 using the silver and gold also!
For anyone who might still be a bit confused this is what I do, if I want the things in the silver column I click on the CHOCOLATE coin and then turn in what they ask for, if you want gold click on the VANILLA coin and turn those things in and if your are going after diamond then click on the strawberry coin I hope that helps! I actually worked out what I wanted and if I could supply all that was necessary - it's a new experience for me lol!

I only had to change one, just didn't have enough Shimmery Powders but thought that was pretty good going, considering all the barn emptying events we have had with little chance to restock on our products.

I am one Vanilla Sludge away from finishing Level 5. I have done a little breeding as I have been working on Castles in the Sand forever and see the end, oh, perhaps about a year away with a little breeding of Camels and Pandas from time to time, Breeding events, Baby Boom and PF permitting! Oh, and not forgetting, some good skips!

I didn't see any significant (if any) increase in drops especially Vials. I will concentrate on the crops then change to long crops if I get a chance towards the end ... feeling vaguely confident I can finish but nothing is certain!

Hope you are all getting all the Vials and Flacons you need.

I have moved right along! Junk growing and some breeding is paying off for me! I have just completed layer 10 and have the Cloud row up and running (got the stalk at layer 8! Hang in there you can get it done too!

 

Congratulations to everyone who is making good progress in the event. I'm behind you but still think I can finish. If I am wrong, please let me know!

In the beginning, I kept 1 field in trees for the drops and the other 2 fields in crops. However, the empty vials were so scarce that I switched yesterday to 1 field trees, 1 field long crops and 1 field event crops. The tree drops have improved so much. I did a round of breeding for Baby boom which helped my drops tremendously and so I was able to remove my trees from the Glade and now have crops growing.

I have completed Layer 4 and have 2 of the 3 milled items ready for Layer 5, but have to wait until next harvest for more crops.

Am I on track? For the love of farming, I cannot tell with this event! Everything to be donated from our barns, I have so only have to worry about crops and drops.

Tonight's field.... 2 fields roses (just because they fit my sleep schedule) and one field CF with event crops (just to keep crops going as those are behind the drops). All storage facilities and a handful of trees always remain out.

 

I think you're on track With two fields of event crops it should be around 9 more rounds, perhaps less. There is still more than three days to go, so if you can make three rounds a day, you should be good

I'm on layer 6 myself. It feels very slow, but layers 9-11 require less of the mill items, so just checking the layer number is deceiving if one wants to check the progress.

 

I have done some crop calculating and there is a way of finishing layers seven through to twelve with 5170 crops minimum, ( or 6580 maximum). I have done this a bit backwards but it may help.
Layer twelve needs two chocolate oozes = 1880 crop, no way around it.
Layer eleven can be done with just 470 if you have 50 peacocks, 60 bees, 20 truffles, 60 ostriches and 30 ladders.
Layer ten can be done with just 470 if you have 140 ducks, 30 eggs, 50 butterflies, 20 riding lessons and 40 Reindeer
Layer nine can be done with just 470 if you have 1680 tomatoes,1300 lilies,1210 beans, 920 peppermint and 640 watermelons.
Layer eight needs 940 event crop and layer seven needs 940 event crop whichever way you go.
Layers nine ten and eleven may need another 470 event crop for each if you cannot go the way mentioned above.

Thanks kibsnfebs, I finished last night! I still can't believe I am done! I did use 2 whole fields for event crops and 1 field with trees pens and 35 1x1's for event crops for the most part (after day 1) I just used water as manure was to rich for me! lol I did breeding to help
me work on a pink truffle farm which ALSO got me the much needed empty vials! I hope this helps and davidb,that is how I
finished!

 

Too many farms taking the quick profits and no junking for this farm for a while. This farm is selling very very very little and holding. RL has not permitted anything consistent with the farm lately anyway.

Thanks David, I am just about to finish 6th. So yours will be helpful to me. After going through the FAQ, I decided to do the product part to save drops which in turn means save crops. But I was too lazy to calculate the crops. Thanks for doing it.

 

I'm in the same position as you, One-Two.

I make it that we are halfway through the event and this is the halfway point so looking good to finish completely ... hope I guess correctly.

 

I think we are the laymen of this game. We don't really do any calculation at all. Just chase.
No prior thinking and only whe we are embroiled in the event we strive to give it a thought and try to plan with great strategies. Even then No precise mathamatical Calculation.
But we somehow manage to do it.
That's the beauty of it.

 

thought i could finish this but after seeing the price of skunks which I need i am done for. 164,000 per skunk

 

if we don't finish this event is it going to hurt us going forward in the Bone Queens Treasure??

 

I finished just a moment back I never expected to go beyond 16 but later realised I can and I did.
