New Baby reindeer to my herd

Frodo, first picture, is still a rutting bull and hence has to be kept separate (with his companion girl). Gandalf, young rutting bull, has had his antlers removed so that he can once again join the friendly paddock, without injuring them. 3rd picture, peace in cuddle paddock. Last picture, castrate Boris, always in cuddles paddock - he has pretty much stripped his velvet now and only a minor punch up with Gandalf... Boris won!

 

Good for Boris putting young Gandalf in his place Glad to hear that peace will soon return to the herd once Frodo is able to rejoin the others and return to being cuddly!

 

What a magnificent pic of Frodo!!! I cannot believe how scrawny and near death he was? And look at him now!!! So virile and strong!!! You have done a fab job with him Karen!!!

 

Brooke I still cannot believe he's that same boy either. Last year he never became a "rutting bull". He never became scary/protective of his girls. I was so surprised that he sired 3 calves (he missed several but I didn't expect any).
This year he has been ALL rutting bull.. grunting, charging & stinky (peeing on rear legs/ scent gland under eye open and secreting), attacking fence... but bless him not at me, just Boris or Gandalf.
All said, this year, I wouldn't dare enter his paddock as he is all bull, last year no problem.

Today's "Silly Sausage Award" goes to Ria for wearing her breakfast.

I know I have a few very savvy followers.. Can anyone put the moon (or another) on the background of Boris. I have tried but can't do it.. Thank you in advance if anyone can ... This Techno Numpty would be very grateful!!!

Barn cat/mouser, Pookie has been relocated into the house until firework parties have finished. I haven't owned her through firework season, so I don't know how stressed she will be. She may not be totally happy in the house but at least I know she can't run away.. She has a safe haven high in the kitchen and I have been told she has lived with dogs before. Can't say she is totally happy but at least she is safe and sleeping happily now.

and now helping with the paperwork... She will be a commuting cat until November 6th!
