I will probably do what I can. Although I'm trying to increase my baha crops there is no urgent need to do so, so I can spare the space. I won't rip anything up, just use the plots I have available. Will be very casual and just get what I can - something is better than nothing. I certainly won't be going all out or getting stressed.

My Baha lands need a bit of a tidy up so it's a good excuse (like I need one) to clear all but necessary pens and grow the event crop. The shine has been taken off of the event due to the massive difference in prizes and drops/milling situation but I'm a sucker for events and I have the time so ... I'm in!

I know Carnival Queen is not so generous as in previous events. Plus it has been switched from Mainland to the tropics side. So using refinements is out of the windows :wuerg:

I am one of those farmers whom appreciate, any useful rewards or prizes, plus I hoard my precious hard earned rewards:p

I always turn a dissapointment into a postie, so gonna try get as many crates as I can from Scrooge Misses QueenxD

We shall see how it goes But it does mean we have 3 different Mini Games for play for, all of them are time consuming

Fingers Cross we get some decent prizes :p

thanks for your advice, But I’m at mix type farmer, those trees will never clear for any event.
and it only take 1/2 of rainforest space.
And they still had contribution when they mature at later time.;)

P.S. surprise why the event not start at 14:00 CET
Then remember that there is a switch to winter time +1:(
So, my plant need to wait for 1 hr more, and it also mean I had to delay my bedtime :sleepy:

Drops of Glue Guns seem pretty good, 132 from various trees and pens plus 70 Net Frames - enough for 14 Nets. :)

I agree illy1996, I got 140 glue guns and 65 net frames! So I will give this a go, even if I am not as excited about this event
as I once was!:) Good luck to everyone doing this Carnival Queen event!

    Good drops for first harvest.
I am doing it on 2 fields only and am keeping my Crystal Falls as is. I like the crates and am going to just do what I can.

I'm sitting this one out on both farms. Too much going on in real life...no time and the fact that it got even harder than the last time around... um nope.

Am I missing something (other than a few loose screws I definitely have)? I get that any left-over candy collected can be turned into EP & CC at the end of the game BUT what is the purpose of these candy points??? I have read the FAQ several times and can find no reason for them.

Edit: I have posted question in General issues and will advise when I get a reply.

At event end, the candy will be taken from your barn. (An event routine for no longer needed items.) In return your farm will receive both EP & CC. You have no choice.

The candy is meant to confuse or distract.

When collecting whatever is thrown, it will be almost impossible NOT to collect the candy (bonbons, chocolates and lollipops).
Many seem not to be concerned with candy as there are usually more valuable items thrown for a farmer to collect.
I cannot think of any sane reason why a farm would make any special effort to collect the candy. Candy will at least result in the farm receiving a little EP and a few CCs.

Because I am in good shape with regard to animals, trees and crops on Baha, I decided to go all in for this event. Winning a 100% harvest this morning, I chose to do four complete rounds with SG and SSG, which allowed me to finish the float. I have just played nine baskets. I averaged 50 or more of each candy item, without trying for them at all. Every round gave me at least one PF, at least one SG or SSG or TM, at least one crate of some kind,at least one GB, average 20000 CCs and a bunch of EP. I opened my crates and the Crate O' Trees and Stables gave me the long awaited Jackfruit tree. I could quit right now and be happy, but I'm greedy so I'll keep going. So be inspired farmers - so much about this event is disappointing BUT there is also a lot of good stuff to be gained!

I have very little interest in this event which to me at the moment is giving out virtual sweets. Can anyone doing this event maybe share what prizes can be won for completing the float? Probably not worth it but if anyone has the info. I will tend to me newly won guinea pig stall & candy witch houses from the much better cursed coin event

Thanks matselleste for sharing what goodies you have collected!:D I am only using 1 full land of 188 1x1's to grow this event crop,
I will play the mini game accordingly!;) Good luck, and for those going to the Carnival...I hope you have fun!xD

Mellowmalt - I have not finished the float yet but part of the rewards are 45 Crate of Country Coins. As a comparison...there are 50 crates of CC in the Maze event and I just opened them on my 2nd farm. 11 Million CC :inlove: You may not get that much but while this event is much different than many players' expectations, there is still the potential for some nice things. As you are still growing your farm, you may be interested in the stars and golden bananas. If you need help with the growing the crops, please send an IGM.

To decorate the float is 12K+ then you make your nets, then boats, then what? I'm confused here; it's not the original, nor will it be easy to recoup your supplies used...too much milling and drilling and shilling out. I started late then I did the math and it's not what I was expecting, I got up this morning and there it was. I'm going to ditch this in mid flight. I made up my own mind then I saw the chorus of 'boos' ...which weren't the ones to scare me for Halloween.
What HAPPENED to this event? It went from a bag of gold to a burlap sack of potatoes. It's not April 1st is it?
Players would have spent money hand over fist to up the ante for this event if BP had left it alone. Wow, I mean Wow.

This event didn't look promising compared to previous Carnival Queens but I've done my first 10 baskets and what a surprise! Crates come on average 1 per basket and gave me 1 x Pitanga tree, 2 Pecan trees, 1 x crocodile pen, over 1 million CCs. Not bad at all. There are very few Golden Bananas but plenty of other goodies!

I think the problem is that a vienna wonder stable doesn't impress me much anymore and 1 mill cc is pocket change.

golden bananas on the other hand i need lots of
