I am taking a long needed event rest. There is nothing in the prize lists that makes it worth my while to have to rip out my Glade in order to get enough crops grown (and perhaps sleep a little). :p

Continuous, consecutive events with no normal farming in between makes it difficult to keep up with all the fruit, crops, animals and products needed for these events ... not to mention the number of prizes of secret stables and seedlings we are unable to put out.
If you must have events ALL the time, at least let us decide which fields we can use. Give us a fighting chance.
I never miss out trying every event that comes along but I prefer to sit this one out and take break from events.:)

Please change Hit Singles and Carrots around to give newer farmers a chance. ;)

Can I add my voice with Cassie.....why have a product that only 15-20% of farmers will have in hit single at number 16 and a crop 100% of farmers will have at number 54.

Come on BP give newer farmers a chance....lets see if you are listening to your customers

I would also like to add that this seems very unfair to newer players. :(

I agree with everyone above, more and more events are just not being fair to newer players.

This is not my main farm but I am level 85 and just have one Moose - trying hard to open more land in BH and that is a task in itself with the enormous value / amounts of crops needed to get more CF land open.
Not everyone will have the hit single production possibility but anyone at all can grow carrots !!

I agree with the above, that easier items should be asked for first, and the difficulty level should move up the levels. I also concurr with the feelings of many that there are just too many events, back to back to back, and the vast majority use only mainland fields. If we could use all fields, then we could keep one field here or there for doing the things we need to do, to keep our farms moving forward. This event itself does not look all that taxing and the prizes are good, but event fatigue is taking its toll everywhere. In every strategy thread lately there are dedicated farmers saying that they are skipping one event or another, because we are all worn out. I do thank you for making a couple of events where the prizes, while good, are not "must haves" so that we CAN feel ok taking a break if we desire.

did i missed this event? strange to see feedback before the event but since it is here and i won't be able to participate based on the difficulty I will critisize that the event has not started early for under lvl 100 players to give us a bit of a headstart.

I have event-fatigue. To many. Please BP, give us a break sometime soon. (Not doing this one)

Farmers posting early over the unfairness to newer players. Please see phoenixboy's post above.
I think we are hoping this will be passed on to the Devs and they will change this. 8)

Ah well BP choose to ignore the request to help our newer farmers, really disappointed in that but not unexpected.

Prices in my market are really high...will be interested in how many get stuck at that stage as cant afford to buy hit singles

I disagree about event fatigue. It's our choice when to enter one, and this one only requires the normal farm areas while you can grow all your wondertrees and wonderstables on Baha.
Also, the giver that has barnyard bills is tempting for a player who rarely uses the reallife money options and the only other source, the cinema, is apparently there only for new players.

As for hit singles, they are available on the market so you can buy them and don't need the workshop for it.

Why should the event start early for players under level 100? Most players above level 50 have pretty good access to everything, as well as an excellent understanding of the game - they are hardly low-level players. I'm level 93 but have been here for 8 years. I wouldn't consider myself needing a head start. Also, why should anyone get a head start?

Whilst it is true that we can choose when to participate, many players like participating in all the events. Once upon a time, events created a sense of community, and provided an opportunity for players to direct their efforts towards a specific goal, to break up the day-to-day farming routine. These days, the events don't break up the routine, but rather break INTO the routine. Events were a refreshing and enjoyable challenge, and they no longer feel this way. Lots of players here want to take part in the events, whether it is to gain the rewards, attain a sense of accomplishment or feel a part of the community. Not taking part contributes to a sense of exclusion, of being separated from the rest of the community. It is not fair that their options should be event fatigue or farm alone. Further, if BP are going to put these events out there, they should be accessible to the players. When there are so many events in a row, when events are constantly happening, they are no longer accessible.

Hit singles are currently going for 95,000 apiece on my market. It is quite conceivable that they would be more expensive elsewhere. Players who need to resort to market purchases on account of not having the workshop usually won't be in a financial position to afford that, certainly not for the rewards on offer.

Thanks for explaining! I don't view events as breaking the routine, but as being a routine. That clearly makes me a newbie." Buy, buy more, and be happy." A relaxing week off, also an opportunity to refill the barn, and to make use of all the hard gained wonder-things, is the week when none of the events are appealing. Like, there was the double circus event. I gave the 2*10 starting seeds to the nublons. (They weren't grateful for the weeds. )

Same boat as Illy - not even the BB giver enticed me due to the continual events. I am focussing on FSQs

The BB giver might have enticed me if it was a permanent giver, even once a week would be sufficient to make me change my mind about making an effort - but limited charges, not interested. -.-

Don't get me wrong, I would have had a go if we had less events, nothing would have stopped me but this was one that just didn't seem essential (to me) and I have been enjoying building up my animal stocks in preparation for the next "attractive" event. :music:
I should say thank you for making the option to skip an event a little easier for a seasoned event doer! :D

too many events too close together and the rewards are not appealing to me so decided not to participate again.

I totally agree, that's the way it is now. "Back in the day", most of our time was spent doing regular farming; completing quests, building up stock, making products etc. Events were fun, exciting, an enjoyable challenge that broke the routine of the day-to-day gameplay. I now find it hard to be excited for events, or enjoy them when they happen, whereas several years ago an event was like Christmas.
