    Insane!!!
To complete this event we need to grow 70,000 crop.... Really? I'll try to go just for the givers but that is still 35,000.

The event has some pretty tough requirements, ag56, but it does run for nearly two weeks so to get the CR, you will need to grow 22,750* crops per week, also taking into account the three free Detective Tools we are given. Still a pretty high crop level but not as bad as it looks on first glance. ;)
For me, it does look like it will be a real challenge but the prizes make me want to go for the finish ... drops permitting! :p

    * Edited as I made a mistake!!!

I do not like hidden object game.-.-
Hope that It will not be a game required alot of magnify glasses.
Crop required to mill 1 dective tool is high 700!
There is no problem to set up 100 mini games,It is a Challenge for players to achieve.
But ask for CR need 68 game is really harsh!
There is players had RL and cannot always login to harvest. Even given 13days event time still
a burden to them. especially it is a 5 hr crop
I prefer game designer to have a 6-7 hr crop and lessen crop required.
Those point reward are great.. Again, high standard to acheive.
Is this event is fun and mini game is easy to play? It will reveal when event begin.
Pls, don’t let me think that I had to face ”MAZE Event” in another version!

Played my 3 free mini games and liked it.

The hardest part of hidden object games is knowing what some of the items look like. It would have been nice to have all the possible hidden items listed in the Event FAQ with a picture of the item next to it because there are rewards for doing the mini game faster. Playing the mini games it seemed pretty straight-forward but as the game progresses we will see if it continues or if the items change. Will a letter be a postal letter in one game and then a letter of the alphabet in the next? As the game progresses we will find out.

I love this type of game :) Well done to the designers. I agree that pictures would be nice. I also agree that a little lower requirement per item would be lovely, even if more items were then required. Most of us like a more instant gratification.

I know that I will probably be alone in my next statement, but I really wish that all of these games did not have a "reward" for getting it done faster/in fewer turns/etc. It takes away from the fun aspect and adds to the stress level. I'm all for, for example, in this game, you get five points per item that you discover. But trying to get it done with one eye on the timer, I know there are some people for whom that is an enjoyment, but I have never been one of those. Love these "different" game mechanisms, but sometimes you are penalizing players with slower internet connections or older equipment, or those of us who are not twenty years old and frankly, don't have lightning fast reflexes, or, those of us who simply don't wish our pleasant game to put pressure on us!

Agree with above re time. I have a really slow internet connection and it makes it tricky.

I found the game frustrating for some of the same reasons stated above. Since I had no idea what most of the items looked like (a "letter" was a yellow square tucked away in some remote corner) and I don't have super-fast reflexes, I haven't yet achieved a time bonus. The amount of produce required to make the item needed is quite steep and limits how many of the hidden object games I can actually play.

Like others have said, the items were difficult to see, mostly because they didn't look like what they were supposed to be. It took so long to play the games, it would have been better if only 5 objects had to be found.

I am now getting 66 - 71 points per game, the big problem is not enough drops. No soot - no game. :(Come on BP play fair.

i am just twiddling around with this event, I am finding the game fun to play but cant get any extra points for doing it quicker. I dont want another cloud row thank you so just trying to get a few prizes. Still havent worked out what the magnifying glass drops are for and how they enhance the game. A good idea and nice change BUT my goodness the amount of crops to grow is horrendous.

If you have found say 8 of the 10 items, clicking on the magnifying glass for each item you still need, will show you where the item is.

I'm not sure how people can get the maximum number of points. I'm good at these sorts of games but it is only by using the maximum number of hints that I've been able to get an extra 5-8 points. Without the hints, I well and truly take enough time to only get the minimum reward.

Also, something I've noticed is that although I am a native English speaker, I don't actually know all the items. Many of them are given names that I, as an Australian, wouldn't use to describe the item. Naturally, my word is no more or less correct than another, but it is difficult to find something when you don't know what you're looking for. This could be avoided by using more generic items. And I'm fortunate - at least I natively speak the language I'm playing in.

Have you really taken in account that there is an upcoming event, starting the 22. nov????

It is a nearly preposterous crop demand but probably doable even before the new event or hopefully at least before the new has to be started. But one thing that my calculations shows a negative trend for - it looks like the drop rate has become so small it feels like impossible to get enough drops for the drop rate. Some time ago with a pair of events with competing demand for drops, BP showed an inapt skill in drop setting (or it was from the beginning an intention to fool some of us) so I missed the best part of the prize list ... if it is the same this time you have to concider if it is meaningful to go on playing this game?

It would be very tuff to harvest enough crop this time with the outstanding amount demand but miss the real prizes because an insufficient drop rate :(

I'm loving the mini games. And although I am finding it a little palm sweating to get them done in the quickest time I am still getting fairly high points. However, in typical BP fashion they have to find some way to screw things up - the drop rate of soot had DROPPED to such a low point that I got 4 off one field of event crop and 8 off another. Even with drops from island I'm finding it slower and slower to do games. Once again BP chasing after our purses. When are they going to learn that greed is not an attractive quality and when are loyal players going to say "enough is enough" and go elsewhere for their fun and entertainment

Yes I did but I have no idea what that will involve so I will cross that bridge when I get to it. My comments were intended to make the requirements a little less scary. :wuerg:

I have spent many years farming while working shifts, with irregular hours and sometimes no harvester, I have had to juggle whether to do events and how far I could get. I am finding it a lot easier now but do understand how frustrating it can be when we can't do as much as we would like to, due to commitments, especially when there are great prizes on offer. :(

I am hoping that the event starting on Thursday will not involve the main fields but if it does, I will make my decision on whether to participate when I see what's required and what is on offer. Much like any event these days. After all, if I skip one event, like buses, there will be another one along soon. :p

I quite agree that the drop rate is getting very poor as the event goes on and most of us have only time to grow the event crop so little chance to beef up our rate when the crop requirements are so high. -.-

By the way, I miscalculate the figures! It should read 22,750 per week to get the CR!

I too am enjoying this event and the prizes are geat. Not happy about another overlapping event but hey ho. I do agree that the FAQ should have had the items listed with pics as there are some items we have dif names for.

I initially found the Great Chase a challenge but thanks to Moraine and others, I was soon getting 71 points on each mini game.
The prizes were amazing, the graphics good and the mini game fun. I have finished the event :D

I am thoroughly enjoying this game, a bit of a nail biter at first but finally I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I agree, the prizes are really worth the trouble and it is a bit of a challenge. The mini game could be improved with pictures instead of words or both would be okay too. Not always clear but if I have a problem, I just use a magnifying glass - I seem to have more than enough! :music:

Edit: Forgot to say, the drop rate is abysmal! :(

What happened to the drops? They were keeping pace nicely, making things really fun for a change, instead of a struggle -and then they just fell off. Why? Do you not understand that HAPPY PLAYERS WILL SPEND MONEY and unhappy ones will leave the game? Did NO ONE in your entire team take Econ 101? Make your customers happy and they will open their wallets. This is the FIRST thing you learn in business school. Maybe you should take some of the funds you are stealing from your customers and send someone in charge to take a community college class on how to run a business.
