Christmas Eve - strategy Thread

Decided to use some of my stock of goodies and nuked 2.5 fields three times. Mainly 4x4 plots with CAC and Jack O' Gift.

4 done, 11 to go

Drop rate is fine thanks to the 9:30 hr crop.
With decent requirements in mind I'll have 1.5 field event crop overnight and will resume normal farming on the other main field.

Well, my first harvest of overnight Carnations and trees/stables gave 138 drops
Drops are my abhorrence

Wow @spotsbox , that's cool. Did you use 1x1 or 2x2 plots? CAC?

 

Nala, I used 1x1s, no CAC, water or other buffs. I knew I wasn't going to have time to work my farm yesterday, so I planted the forget-me-nots (level 127 crop) first thing in the morning. I didn't bother with water or poo because I planted early enough I didn't need them (they're a 20+ hour crop). I ate CAC before I harvested, tho, to maximize the harvest, and so I didn't forget when I went to harvest event plants . I also have the LLR maxed, and the Howie rune activated as well, so my drops usually are fairly good, tho this exceeds anything I can remember. Second farm, with LLR and Howie rune, grew rosehips, and got roughly 240-ish drops. Hope this helps.

 

I started way late so I'm scrambling a bit here. As for the givers needed for those 3 bonus rows...I tore through all my fields ripping up everything finding all but two (one showed up in the daily log-in today!) but the other was 'hiding' in row 45 of my magic stock rows...so if you're not finding those givers..look there. it took awhile to hunt it down but I got it..double luck.
I can see my supergrow shrinking after this event.

Is anyone else experiencing issues on this event..... such as you put in requirements and nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. No check mark...... nothing to prove that you've started the event and used event crop with absolutely no trail of evidence. I'm a bit miffed. Busy time of year.... Wrapping, shopping, working..... life Getting ready for Christmas and holiday! Good luck everyone and thank you Neddy for starting the thread.

It give 2 BB (4 charges)
So, this event total give you 16BB, a small but warm heart christmas present.

I have done nine and have six left to do. Not bad for less than halfway through the event.

I am managing to do three harvests a day thanks to my recent habit of waking early - has to be some benefits to that when I don't have to get up for work or any other commitment!
i have already had all the drops I need so thank you BP for being generous with those.

what is going on with the bean stalks from these christmas events? I'm missing something from each bean stalk row. Are they coming in a new years event, or am I just missing something.

 

they are all from the daily login bonus item included this month.( you get it from the “locked treasure box”)
If you can open all the treasure boxes monthly. ( that mean you had not miss any day login)
then those items will all go into you inventory.
If you cannot find it :
1)check if you had put them on some Cloud Rows. (those required player to put in non event item)
2)check you park, shipwreck bay (those land you place giver)
If still can’t find it. You better ask mod to see if they could help you.

 

Deco items have finished their charges; cloud row now up and active just in time for Christmas Eve.
