7:54 left before event ends - All 3 farms finished 1-2 short of the Snail Stall.

This is what I was afraid would happen when BP started with the Harvest Boosters -- events would be designed so that you could not finish them unless you received the boosters and/or purchased baskets.

I don't like games designed this way because even though you know that you probably will not finish you don't know how far you will get. All of my farms received 20 points per game most of the time with the occasional 17 points and a couple of times only 13 points. They all ended around the halfway point with 800-900 points. The finish was 1600 points.

Strategy -- forget about it -- I am going to sleep. I find myself employing this strategy more because the way the games have been designed lately I just lose interest. Some of the recent ones required the use of SG on 1x1s to get enough crops or boosters and/or baskets. Instead of making me want to spend real money on the game this causes me to do the opposite -- I think BP needs to check their sales. I was purchasing some things to support the game because I have been playing it since 2010 but lately I don't want to.

 

I junked my way all the way to 46.443 (623 to spare) blindingly-bright crops and 4.138 drops (I'm 206 short to the ahuehuete tree). We will see what I get with my last harvest in one hour and a half.

I did them all Slept, worked, had a life, and then I frantically spun the wheel 300 times, bought a heap of SG in the FC shop, did carnation. And The pony is finally mine and the tree (and 50BB with 30 min left on the clock)

Might need to add if I'd been a bit more active and not wasted an entire night for event crop, perhaps the drops hadn't been so much of an issue. And perhaps 6h crop to kick off the event wasn't the best strategy either.

Woke up this morning with 41 minutes left on the event clock. Farm nm56 did receive enough drops to get that extra Snail Pen but my other 2 farms were still short.

No Ahuehuette tree for the wicked. I woke up early, got close to the end, but had to go to work and missed the last harvest completely...
