Tractor Show Event

Is anyone else finding this to be a horrendous drain on PF? I've already used almost 1500 PF (thank goodness for reserves ) and still need a ton of drops to finish. Think I'll do a little breeding on bear, but not going to worry about finishing there, too PF expensive.

Congratulations, you successfully fixed all tractors!

I did waste around 500 PF on it but already had 90% of the breeds at the start. So mainly spend PF on replenishments and speeding up pens/workshops on baha for drops.

The event runs till wednesday so there's plenty of time to gather the drops (and the possibility to trade excess of a kind might be handy too).

I too had the breeds needed already, so was booming only for drops. I've stopped for now, will wait until late tomorrow night to see what I still need; hopefully Baha stables will give me enough that I won't need to breed any more. Only reason I could do as much as I did was I don't breed much beyond events, so had over 3000 PF saved up. Might actually have to start milling it again at this rate.

I've given up on deluxe pheromones.....have never seen any difference....and I breed a lot of animals. I might be encouraged to use deluxe pheromones if there was...a deluxe pheromone tree.
I have finished the tractor event this afternoon. I was lucky to have most the required colored animals already in inventory. I'm going to hold off harvesting the CR until I have my pens back out after growing the oodles of event plants for the Country Fair event.

Done with the Tractors of course breeding helped a lot with drops and took more than 500 PFs

I have been toying with the new all singing all dancing Deluxe Pheromones and find absolutely no change to the number of skips I get and those I got before.
I had most of the breeding animals I needed for this event so have been trying my luck to get those last evasive Camels and Pandas for Castles in the Sand. Pretty close with Mummy Camels but the others will take a very, very long time!

Forgot to say, I am just a little short of halfway with the drops for the event so will carry on with the animals I have out at the moment. Should make it by the end of the event. I hope!

I'm an oooooooooooooold farmer noooooow and did not notice the cloud row inaccuracy in the faq description until after completing the event and harvesting the cloud row.

The cloud row states that there is also 1 Crate O'Zany Animals when harvested.

I just reported this. There is still time to work the event even though no Baby Boom is available.

 

I still need lots of drops to finish the event. But there is plenty of time. Hope to finish tomorrow. Need more than 100 in each category. There is still 54 hrs.

I didn't spend too much of PFs. Breed only the missing coloured animals to donate. So may be 100 or 200 PFs gone.

 

Yes, I've used almost 700+ PFs, and that's almost 70% of my reserves

Just about 30 tires to finish the event, hoping to get most with the next stable harvest. I did some breeding to work toward high level animals, so gave the deluxe pheremones another try. Still see no improvement in skips; this appears to be a worthless game item.

naaaaaaaaah, they won't make it to the barn to chat with illy the ladybug and her over 55,000 friends.

For starters they will be meet by One-Two the duck and her nearly 88,000 friends. One-Two the duck keeps all the ducks in a row on this farm.

naaaahhh, then there is DB the owl (named after DBAYES) with her nearly 53,000 friends who keep an eye on things.

No need to go further with this story. Illy the ladybug is just too dear to me to allow someone to make it to the barn to visit her without her permission.

Bred maybe 10 times for fun with the event.
Don't want to harvest because I'm an ooooooooooooooold farmer nooooooooooow. Have nearly 300 of each drop left for no reason.
Sales were good with surely two half billion cc days.

Pheromone sales were slow as many tried to use the deluxe pheromones.

As expected, farmers received little or nothing from the deluxe pheromones ............ but they will in the future.

The broke logic:

Breeding events are just touching the level four breeding animals. Many farms have nothing and are forced to breed.
Do you have any idea how many animals are required for a level 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 breeding animal?
By constantly growing junks, a farm cannot produce the animals needed for breeding. Developers are providing breeding animals (though the wheel and cloud rows) only to take them away and more and tap into those credit cards.

We are given yellow pens out the wazoo,
orange pens are common,
red pens are being slowly given away,
pinks pens are being given away during events and once in a while on the wheel,
neon pen giveaways will appear
.........................................and if that is not enough to keep credit cards from being used ......wellllllllllll

from an oooooooooold farmer nooooooooooooow: There will be the broke-animal pen introduced which awards 5 animals per harvest.

(edit--- Most know better than to believe anything about any broke-animal pen giving 5 animals.)

To get all the drops, did you all have to convert all your fields to pens and trees?

 

Lottidah - I just used pens/workshops on the island to get drops. The small amount of breeding I did wasn't a major source of drops.

Finished with both parts of current event and just using an extra round of event crops to scoop up an item or two from the shop that I would like.
