Karen sorry I never replied yesterday but as you probably know by now, yes the link did work. I also could not remember the name of the curious one who got so close, as Brookeham said it is difficult keeping up with them all:)

Loved that video! :inlove: Watched it a couple of times because there is so much to see. I think the curious one is Fleur, if I remember the nose markings right. Thanks for taking the time to produce this lovely update for us!

I think you are right Willow, Lotte and Frodo's baby girl Fleur and it looks like she is NOT camera shy!:inlove:

Willow thank you so much for replying correctly. Yes it is Fleur and I will add another short video of her. I must admit I checked afterwards that I had got HER gender correct. I doubted myself for a while.

No newbies today, but there is one if not two imminent, so those girls are on close watch.
My tractor lost a link ball while harrowing and getting a new one and fitting (she's an old girl) has meant the grass has got away from me and I can't mow as it continues to rain, so grass gets longer!

Pascha has an eye infection... but can I catch her to treat it, no! :( I will have to wait until she is sound asleep tomorrow as a failed attempt now means her little ears twitch whenever I am about and she's off at 30mph as she knows I have plans!

What an absolutely fabulous video of baby reindeer frolicking with the ball. :D I love the word frolic...but hardly ever get to use it!

The ball is bigger than she is, but she looks as though she is having fun with it;) Hope you manage to catch Pascha while she is asleep tomorrow!

That video of Fleur with the ball made my day! xD Bet she is going to be a character!

Better put on your track shoes before tackling Pascha, just in case she wakes before you get the treatment done. My goodness, those little ones can run!

I got Pascha... it took 36 hours of tactics to get her eye treated... BUT I won eventually. :)

I still have 3 "Ladies in Waiting" but calves born to date are doing wonderfully.
    1 Fleur, 2 Casper, 3 Zola, 4 Bertie, 5 Pascha, 6 Amber, 7 Luna
Tractor now has a flat tyre, after loosing ball link during harrowing and waiting for a new one (or two as first & second didn't fit), and welding from a wonderful neighbour, and lots of rain - so no paddock topping yet again. Eek not a good day!

At dawn this morning Tigga gave birth to this little one.
I think it is another female but as Mum is a first timer, I am giving them a few hours to bond before treating umbilical/weighing etc.
Better photos later in the day.

As baw815 remarked, very nice markings. Perhaps Blaze could be considered for a name, that one mark does look a bit like a flame to me. Congrats to you and Tigga!

How come every one is the cutest one born so far?

I love the fact that once they are all playing together we should be able to recognise all at a glance, even with this many (okay two white/two brown but one of each sex. :)

More pictures of today's baby as promised. They still aren't wonderful as Tigga is an attentive but nervous mother who has calved at the very far end of a large paddock and stresses when I walk to check her calf rather than watch through binoculars.
Better photos once she relaxes into motherhood.
Baby doing fine but she was rather large for a maiden and Tigga rather swollen but this will resolve in a few days.

PS I see a Swift/Swallow on her forehead - beats a dead rat!

What a cutie !! :inlove: Thanks for the extra pictures - was hoping for some on my lunch break and you provided! Very happy to hear Tigga is doing well for a first time mom; can't blame her for being nervous.

I hate to admit but tonight I am sleeping in my own bed rather than camping out, as new baby and mother doing well - TG. and Lexi doesn't seem stressy despite being imminent. And I am cross eyed due to lack of sleep.. So goodnight all. xx I need sleep!!
