According to DE FAQ:

• Fancy mold will drop from Quest II starts until the end of the event
• Cookie mixer will drop from Quest III starts until the end of the event
• Mallow marsh will not be not be exchanged until after Quest V, so you don't have to start over with 10 seeds for quest V, you can continue with leftovers from quest IV.

I find the baking stories item underwhelming, so the only thing I want from this event is the final treehouse upgrade. I'll probably skip the 5 first quests...

 

Thank you Mir for making it look simple for me. I will be doing as much as I can of this one (should that read "these ones") ... I'm just a sucker for events. Just hope I can complete at least some of it though (unless I missed something) the prizes are not that exciting! Lots of GBs which will eventually come in handy I suppose!

This one is off to a bad start Will probably just try for whatever upgrades I can get.

I managed to bungle the first one ... due to my inability to add up! Thought I needed 150 crops and needed 200 - and had just donated all but two of my seeds! LOL!

Managed to plant these two with everything thrown at them but was still 28 short without enough time for them to be harvested. I did grow them, though, just in case there was a blip and the event carried on!
Won't make THAT mistake again!

I made a different sort of mistake. I replanted the event seeds today morning, somewhat late. After an hour or so, I suddenly got doubtful and checked to see what hour the game ended. I found that my crop harvest time was 2 hours or more than the ending time. So I used supergrows around 150 or so and finished the event. I was left with 252 extra event plants.

 

I forgot to place the giver item until 7 hours before the end of the first part, so didn't have the second chocolicious for the quest. I didn't read all the way to the bottom and see that we needed the giver too. Oh well.

 

That's really sad sunshine . Do not know what to say - just that - well it all happens.

 

So sorry, Sunshineaz. We've all done the head slapping thing over silly things we have done (or not done!).

 

Don't feel bad Illy I forgot to put out the treat giver and I'm scrambling to finish even the II, how on earth are we to get 5 and 6 treats in 24 hours later on in the event? 10 hours is ..10 hours thats twice a day and I can't even manage that, I'm away at work for 10 hours
is this really 24 hours for each section or am I completely off?

 

Baking Tales I reduces the time to 8 hours, Baking Tales V gives 2 drops, and Baking Adventures IV increases the drop to 3.
Baking Legends(11 upgrade curtains applied onto base) gives No drops, but by then we should not need any more.
