    8) I love the title of these quests, as dancing in the wind, especially right before a storm, is breathtaking!:D That said...so is the number of crops required to grow over every single weekend in July!! :eek:o_O There is no way I'm devoting an entire month of weekends to growing fake crops, I don't care how much I love this game!-.-:( I love having a RL more.

Too bad. I actually like the concept - without 20 gazillion crops to go with it!!:wuerg: C'mon guys - you can create events without having to make us always grow crops!!

Initial reaction is that I don't like that these quests offer fishing lures as rewards. The reason is that I am thinking we will need the lures from these quests in order to complete the Fishing Event later and will not be able to make enough of them during the event itself to finish it.

I guess we will just have to wait and see if that is the case.

I totally agree but I am a farm in need of GoldenBananas so next weekend I just might dig it all up and grow and throw, all for the need of the coveted GBs. :cry:sniff-sniff I really hate tearing up the farm but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. How do they say it "the end justifies the means" :wuerg:
If all is completed I can gain 18 GBs and however many I'm not sure from the TEPs gained. I'm only level 97 on the Island so I should be able to gain a few more from the TEP rewards.
Looks like week 4 offers the same

Ridiculous amount of crops for so little time and all whilst TWO other events occur>:(

Just to second TCRooster's point, adding this quest on top of two other events is just overwhelming. I had already decided to sit out the Lynx event because I wanted to use the baby boom for other things I wanted more on my farm. I only use Baharama for trees, so I can sit the other event out easily. But the amount of crops and the time they take to grow, for the returns offered, made it a non starter for me.

I just think the more you try and add the more likely it is that players will not participate in the events because their regular farms, the thing they log in for every day, are suffering.

I am doing this event but even with the +1 crop bonus, I am going to be short by 2,000+ crops. I didn't (and am not going to) make any special effort, three harvests a day is my usual. Perhaps, with more SG and SSG I could finish but the prizes just don't make it worth my while. I will save that for more interesting events. 8)

I don't know why you are including these weekend events - I do farm over weekends and I notice that there are less farmers about on the Forum. Those who do farm over weekends may also want to do other things in the summer months (or winter months if they are on the other side of the planet to me) so this seems like a bad move to add additional events with lots of crop requirement. -.-

Off to a terrible start. I usually am able to finish these or at least come close to finishing. I initially skipped some steps to try to get to 3-3 for the hut upgrade and then work on the ones I skipped but was unable to do so. I managed to do 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 3-1 and 3-2. So I got one tree seedling that may or may not turn into a tree I want. I probably should have skipped it and worked on my regular quests.

I had lynx pens out to work on that event because I started it with 100-200 lynx on all of my farms. I used all my PF and lynx but will probably skip the lynx breeding too because I can't get to the higher levels where the good rewards are. I will probably keep my lynx breedings for when that quest is added or to use to upgrade factory/pen to pink.

Dance in the Wind III is also a breeding quest so I will probably fail at that too. Not only low on PF but it is the same day i come home from surgery.
