Here we go again - tooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many crops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And - as Mir pointed out in the General Issues section - for some reason they have more than doubled the original amount we have to grow per game!!>:(

This is another favorite game made more difficult by toooooooo many crops!! Also, (and here's the 'kicker':music:)...the rubber band ball drop comes from just about everything we grow (which would have been great) except that we will need to remove almost everything we grow if we want to grow all those crops!!!:eek:o_O-.--.--.-
Whoever made that decision to drastically increase the crops-per-game....that was a baaaaad move!

I will give this a halfhearted try - but the joy in this game has gone.:sleepy: That being the case - they will NOT get any of my $$$, because they keep taking away the joy. I play for joy!:inlove:

For a company that needs players to survive, BP is becoming the leader in how to drive them away.-.-
Not much Happy Dancing here lately....and my feet are getting restless.......

I agree, it is a long time to wait before we can play the mini-game. The CR and EP items appear cheap but it all depends how many coins are on offer. The CR is okay, just more crates to open. :sleepy:

I will do what I can but won't be busting a muscle trying to get everything. Really getting tired of all these high requirement slow action events. -.-

That's why I am sitting this one out. I put my whole farm into crates for Gift and Trade (it makes it easier to deal and keep an inventory), so I have no desire to dismantle the farm again and I won't be able to grow anywhere near the amounts needed to make any useful progress.

The thing is, BP, if I am sitting out the event there is no chance that I am buying baskets. This is the reality of setting crop requirements high for me: I am not motivated to start because - dismantle - no chance I am buying baskets, so you're not getting paid (at least by me).

I will echo what has been said here; enough with the high requirement, slow action, limited reward events. You'll make much more from fewer events, better paced and with better incentives to start... I feel like I may have said all of this before

My first thought upon seeing the prizes in the shop was of all the unnecessary Ash and Mahogany tree trades that were made during the G & T.

I also had a look in the archives for the previous edition of this game and the requirements were 350 black and 350 white soccer buds plus 30 rubber bands for each game, and one of the crops was only 4 hours long, the other 6 hours as usual. Both crops and drops could be grown and collected from both the main and baha lands. This amount was easy to achieve and not too long in waiting to play the mini game.

Current requirements have more than doubled but have been limited to only the baha fields. This will drag out the time to actually play the mini game, therefore, losing fun, motivation and creating more frustration/boredom (like most events these days!). The only saving grace is that we can continue with normal farming on the main lands.

I have always enjoyed playing this mini game but in saying that I also used to enjoy the fishing game until the last event.

Update: I remember the days when I used to enjoy this event....when multiple games could be played in one sitting, not one game, at most, every 4.5 hours.

Final Feedback Thoughts: I've now stopped playing because it's taking too long to actually play the mini game and my motivation to continue has gone completely. Due to the excessive crop and drop requirements, all playfields should have been allowed for this event. I get more excitement about the FSQs these days!

Grace just left the building.....or more appropriately, the farm, because there is another event taking place on the main lands.

Too many crops for one mini-game, so will do what I can. BP has ruined yet another favourite mini-game.

Everyone else has said it; the crop and drop requirements are absurd. Good job ruining another classic, thanks again!

Add me to the list of complaints about too many crops, boring wait times, and too much going on at the same time! Plus, why must the two crops have two different grow times! I've said before, that someone needs to go back to business school to learn about basic marketing principles. As has been said, we'll spend our money when we feel like we're getting something in return. Bullying us into buying baskets and such is not only not working, it's alienating players. The only positive thing I can say is, I feel like the drop rates lately have been really good, for farms in 1x1 plots. Also I like that new trees are offered, and that the star coin requirements seem reasonable. But... while the mini game itself is fun, waiting to play it makes me not want to bother. This is supposed to be a game, one that we look forward to playing because it is a pleasant diversion from life, not a second job that causes us stress.

Well said, @-matselleste- :inlove: It really has become so stressful -.-
A lot of events running simultaneously, high crop and drop requirements, weak/unattractive rewards or CR's offered. BP needs to revisit their plans. So many events have been ruined by this change of strategy, recently.
1- Players are compelled to take part in events/a series of events to collect items needed to play another event.
Examples: Ingrid, fishing event etc. What if someone wants to do only one or two events.
2- Huge amounts of crops and drops are quite stressful, at times unachievable for some players. Many of the higher level players were unable to complete some of the events, lately.
    3. Slow pace of an event makes it difficult, boring to keep playing. Fishing event is one example, Football Fever is the latest one.
Enough said, I think. So, please BP try not to ruin our favourites. Give it a serious thought.

Since Farmerama merged with another games company ...this game has events one after the other ...this company are after one thing MONEY
It's not a Farm game any more ...we never have time to do this

As has been noted, another favorite mini game ruined. This game is becoming such a chore. It is no fun, takes too much work, need to be on 24 hours a day. No, no, no! I started playing this in early 2010 as a way to relax and remove stress. Now, it adds to stress. Slowly moving away from this game and going back to other games that are more relaxing and don't ask for money every time I turn around.

There is a blatant lie in the FAQ'S.
You do Not get five tries, you only get four. Yet another way BP has to make things harder.

EDIT: oops, I got it wrong... Shooger checked.
    Hmmm... doesn't counting go 1,2,3,4, 4 and a bit?:D

    Hello davidb1yth007,

The FAQ is correct, you get 5 attempts with each round:

As the First Ball is ready to be played when a round begins, you get 4 more balls if needed.

    Regards,

well, on my second last try, I had three intercepts, so only four balls in total. And there was one other time that I wasn't 100 percent sure about.

I'm not sure what happened here but I grew 4 crops + comfort fields w. SG and Suzys per day and with 19 hours to go I've got 106 coins some I maneuvered to get an extra coin by passing to extra players. growing more as I head off to work for the day.
Explain the reason why the numbers were so deep that you couldn't afford to let a 5th year or a beginner player get a cloud row without spending money?
One that I've been able to get in the past easily plus a few extras; I liked this football game at one time.
I don't expect special treatment. I want to be able to finish some simple game.
The last 6 months it's been progressing up and up growing right to the last hour which for me is in the early hours of the day.
It's driving me to other sites to play stress free.

Again too many crops (had to use a lot of super grow) but still only managed to get enough coins for the cloud row.

As others have said another of our favourite games ruined. I'm doing fewer and fewer events.>:(
The events are not fun anymore and often not achievable.>:(

130 Star coins after almost a week of non-stop event crop production. What is wrong with that picture? I am "needing" to check my farm less and less these days.

    Dear Developers,
Your decision to raise the requirements for a game of soccer from 350 of each to 675 black and 875 white buds, was , IMHO, seriously regrettable. It rates alongside a decision made by the White Star Line about 108 years ago, to half the number of life-rafts on RMS Titanic.
In fact, this game appears to be on a similar course to that ill-fated journey, with the number of crazy decisions being made to make things progressively harder and less enjoyable.
Stop, before it is too late!

Had I not won 100% harvest twice I would not have got the cliud row - too many drops. Also on one fame it was one shot to get all the coins, so at one point I got nothing for all those crops because I just couldn’t make the shot - how us that fair?
