I was a little bemused when I read in the FAQs that we could only use the Bahamarama Plantation (I have put a Question in to confirm but I am sure this is correct) as it seemed like a lot of crops and drops are required.

But, the supporting event, Candy Pirates, gives us 65 Floral Baskets and we only need 50 to get the CR et al! :inlove:

Requirements to finish Candy Pirates are as follows:

    10,530 Sweetheart Roses (so pretty)
    463 Candy Baskets

If you are unable to do all the levels of Candy Pirates, if my calculations are correct, you only need to do the Silver of all levels to get 50 Floral Baskets. :D

PLEASE correct me if I am wrong ... it seems to good to be true!:p

Thank you illy1996 for trying to clarify that only one field will be usable for both the Candy Pirates and the supporting event Candy Pirates. It makes little sense to me that only one field will be usable for both. Good Luck with the event and enjoy!!

But don't forget Molly, you do not need to grow more than is needed for the Candy Pirates - you will get at least 50 Floral Baskets by doing the Candy Pirates FSQ - if you finish the FSQ, you will earn 65 in total so it shouldn't be too bad. :p

10,530 crops needed for the total 65 Baskets - over five days that makes 2,106 crops per day (3 or 4 harvests of the whole field).
Now the drops ... 90+ per day. BUT, if you only want or are aiming at least for the CR, by doing all the Silvers, you will only require 350 Candy Baskets (from that one field)! o_O

Edit: Another bonus - no milling to do if you get all your Floral Baskets from the Candy Pirates! :music:

Thanks illy. I am in for this event. One of my favourite event.

I think doing the support quest is economical than milling. Am I right ?

Doing the Candy Pirates Support Quest is the best way for this event.

If you were going to not do the quest, it would take milling floral baskets, growing 20,750 Sweetheart Roses and 500 Candy Baskets for 50 Floral baskets to get the Cloud Row.

Support Quest gives 65 Floral Baskets with half the crops and more chances of goodies from Carnival Queen mini games.

Me too, no milling for this one ... but there is for the MM event. :(
Does this mean that I was correct in all of my assumptions - cos it really did look too good to be true! :music:

    Support quest all the way.

I have a real "love/hate" relationship with this particular event. At least this time around we don't have to build the floats first (remember that one? and then the servers got overloaded because we didn't do the candy grab stuff until the last day or so of the event?)

I find the major prizes lackluster at best, but I'll still do this event in the hopes that that little monkey throws great googely gobs of green goo and other things our way.

Thanks illy and pnp for crunching the numbers.
I got the same calculation results, so for me it definitely is the quest and there all silver levels first. Will see, how much time is then left for growing the necessary plants for the gold and diamond levels.

What I didn't grab is the following sentence from the FAQs of Carnival Queen:
There will be a mini event requiring you to collect points coming from 3 different types of candies that will be thrown by the Monkey Queen during the parade (more info to be found below):
For what do we need these? I haven't found any information about that.

Good Luck everybody and may the monkey queen be generous to us ;)

Thanks illy and pup for the number crunching! Support Quest it is for me!

Has anyone looked at the Kitty Customer Event that will be running the same time on the moonlight fields?

Which field is that? The Main field in Baha? I know the crystal falls and rain forest...
hmm. one field. I remember the crashed event from 2-3 years ago?. this is so different from the original, we had main farm fields and got scads of supplies and power feed etc. this one is limited by time.
I'll take a run at it, but with no days off from work it will be tough. I may just buy a basket for once to get started.

Yes, Saturnia. If you run your mouse over the fields, the main one says "Plantation". :)

What I did forget to mention is that we get a Floral Basket at the start of the event to have a trial run! So this one looks really good. :music:

Now if that Carnival Queen can only be as generous as that first time (which I missed as I was on my holidays and only had a tablet with me. I couldn't work out how to run with the basket!).

    Good luck all! ;)

Thank you illy and everyone. I'm in, doing the support quest. This one is fun, somehow it makes me giggle, running after goodies for my basket.
    Good Luck everyone. :inlove:

Poor rewards!! What made me continue this game was the Carnival Queen Event in 2016. :)
Two months after I started this game, which I took a break for about five years, I met the Monkey Queen. :inlove:

Oh, that incredibly generous Queen was a miracle for my poor farm.

It was beautiful at the next event, but then Pirates (BP) killed the Queen, and they replaced her. Since then, I don't like this event anymore.:cry::cry:xD xD

I really liked the very first Carnival Queen Event too. Not for me after that.

    Some like this event.

And I feel it only community spirit for the broke farms to now begin to bring out the Neon Poopers just for this special occasion.
