There are two parts to the event.

1. Deliver the event goods to the two Progress Bars to earn rewards.

Note: Requires you to complete some or all of part 2 to complete part 1


2. Each of the taskbars reward one General Ticket and one VIP Ticket. These are needed to unlock the associated "Lost Tickets" Farmer's Society Quest. Donate to each step to Earn the needed Tickets on further levels and the starter seeds for two new crops

Note: You do not have to complete all of part 2 to complete part 1

Event Drop: Life Jacket

You will get these drops while harvesting your crops and trees on the 3 main and 3 tropical lands!

Thank you Niknar for starting the ball rolling. I didn't even notice the second part of this event.

I was going to let this one go ... far too much required for too little reward (did I miss something else?) but there are those Compasses ... what to do what to do.

I think I will go to task 33 on each side to get 2 compasses and unlock another Crate O' Lures Bubble. Should be able to complete that in about a day.

 

I will probably just go as far as I can and not sweat it if I don't finish. Might get lucky with wheel spins ... or probably not.

Edit: Not sure how far I will get as this event is a day shorter than normal. That's mean!

 

Using my very own spectacle I see the BP game team released more of their crab in the water. Avoiding the event seems wise.

 

Put my 'twirling thyme' in comfort fields. Grrrr

 

Ups that lieves you with only one to work with now. Don't forget to spoil the one with SSG and all that fancy stuff.

Hoping to get all the way through this one on the two main farms, and as far as I can on the other one. Holy cow, the cloud rows (okay, I know, they take almost a week, but still!)...and yes, go as far as you can, get as many compasses as you can to open more bubbles on the fishing event page...

Edited to add: if you have saved one of those +3 plant revenue bonuses (the one that doesn't require a buff slot) - Friday (or maybe Saturday) is the day to use it as we'll be in the thick of it - you should have a good amount of event crops on both Baha fields and Normal fields, plus the MM fields will be open - so whether or not you do the MM event, you'll get a boost on all crop harvests for a full 24 hours. Might be a good night for a movie marathon...or binge watching a TV show...can farm in between...

 

I have two +100% plant revenue bonuses (24 hours, Gold) which I am thinking of trying ... just hoping it will work on event plants. I also have a +1 event plant harvest bonus (no buff slot) and I was going to try one of the latter tomorrow but good call, Dumbunny, I will save them both till Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Might make a bit of a difference.

 

How do you get the general ticket?
Each of the taskbars - does that mean each level of the taskbar?
UPDATE: Ah, I see step 59 rewards the tickets.
Did I understand FAQ correctly - you need the quest to finish the main event?

 

Thanks Niknar for the totals. Sheesh, the lazy farming was good while it lasted. I think I will just plod along and see what happens.

 

AniE You can "only" go as far as task 69 on both sides without the quest.

How far is everyone?
I'm on step 25 on left and right taskbars.

 

On the left 22 and the right 23. I'm out of drops
If I'm lucky I will get the 2 out of 3 CRs. No way I can make the third.

 

I'm also out of drops.

 

I'm on 16 of each. Used super grow and everything else to get set up for the first 1000 crops then off to bed.
This morning I set it up again for a full time grow while at work as I have no computer access during the day. I cant afford to buy anymore super grow or suzie's and the market is void of manure. Managed to harvest around 4pm today and the next lot still has another hour to go.

How are everyones life jacket drops? I am moving 2 howies around and averaging 27-33 each full 1x1 field.

 

Remember that drops also come from the fields we aren't using to crow event crops on, so maximize there! I have WAY more drops than crops at this point.

 

Short on drops on all the farms. Ack! Yes, Matselleste is correct - put in as long of crops as you can on the non-event plantable fields. Of course, I use my Crystal falls area for trees and stables. And right now I have a ton of stables out on the magical glade to counter the lack of poo for sale on the market. This is not good...

Just came back after harvesting SL's farm - adited to add: Illy - yes - it will make a difference - use a CAC in the diamond slot and the plant bonus in a gold slot - AND use a PINKIE PIE on it - extends the harvest bonus to just over 31 hours!!!!
