Aqua Mania

I have unlocked all but 1 and get usually the top 3 catches. Primarily the Octopus and Marlin with a few pufferfish. I may get a few other fish if I get lag.

I get PF, SG and farm coins most of the time.

 

Sounds like a lot of bad luck then. Hang in there and try to get as many lures as you can. We have over 2 weeks to go and the second half will give a lot more lures than the first half so don't give up.

 

I've had 8 so far. And I have caught a few Merlin which have mostly given the pearls. Got 1 definitely from puffer fish.
I found the quicker you try for your catch the better the fish.

 

I've got 10 pearls but unlike others get a lot of low fish despite trying quickly for the catch. Does not seem to matter which bit of the circle I light up, as fish seem rather random. Still I am happy with the pearls and one cloud row up and running.

 

I had 7 Pearls, got 1 now as I opened the first CR (didn't notice that the padlock had been removed).

I have lots of different catches (not many Marlins on this farm) two and Pearls are rare but once in a while I get a couple fairly close together. I think I can get the other 5 but who knows in this random type event?

I only had two pearls after the first two events. After the third event I got six more, a sudden glut of pearls! With more bubbles open and more lures the chances seem to increase. So far I've only had two deluxe lures, the rest are 50:50 between premium and fishing.
My experience is it doesn't matter where you land on the circle, the fish you get seem random. It's fun trying for the hotspot though!

 

Most of the lures we get are normal lures so that's probably why people feel it doesn't really matter where the fishing circle lands.
With basic lures, landing in a perfect spot just means we don't get any mackerels, which slightly raises the chance of getting the 5 other fish but not enough to make a noticeable difference.

With premium and deluxe lures, however, we have a better chance of catching better fish in the perfect spot, so I think it would be a waste of those lures to let the fishing circle land on the good or weak spots.

My experience, at least, has been consistent with the graphic provided in the FAQ.

 

There's a BBD today. I have gotten quite a few Pearls by breeding.
That's if you have any PF left over. My Mill is always pumping out PF.

 

I only needed two or three Pearls this morning (see the interest level, can't even remember ) and I was going to do a little breeding to get them but I had such poor results from the last BB during the breeding event, I thought I would save that for a last resort. I got my two (or three) Pearls today ... not from big fish but from a couple of tiddlers - a Parrotfish gave me the last one. I bet Pearls will be falling all over me now!
I will be glad when this event is over ... so tedious waiting for the lures!

 

Wait! What? We can get pearls for the Aqua fishing event during breeding? I missed that info.

 

Boy I will be lucky if I even get 1 CR up Out of 49 lures I have only gotten 4 pearls Just bred and did not get any! Congrats to the ones doing good

 

I'm skeptical this was anything more than a display glitch as I haven't seen anything to corroborate this. It's not in any of the FAQs I've read and I haven't seen anyone else mention getting pearls from breeding on other forums. Also, I just got around to doing the breeding event on my side farms - 0 pearls from 360 breeding processes across 3 farms.

 

I've had to breed every single stage to get through this event. Solidly since start time until 10 hours ago. No Pearls. I agree, just a mix up of data resulting in a display glitch

 

Just got my 12th pearl!

 

Awesome. I'm stuck on 8. Haven't had any more for at least a week. Ties in with all my lures becoming available at the same time after they got to being ready in the wee early hours of the morning. I will have to try and open them, but ignore them for a while.

I hope the pearl drop does improve. I now have 5/12 and getting very discouraged.

 

I only have three farms that care about pearls...of those three, one has all they need, the other is short one and then there's this farm. which still needs three.

So even my baby farms are opening that one crate daily - and I gotta tell you those pearls are very very random. One farm got three in a row, another hasn't gotten any as of yesterday. So who knows? I certainly don't.

I do know that the farm that now has plenty is not hoping for more as they aren't worth much after the event ends.

 

I have 11/12 pearls with 5 lures; 1 starter, 2 from the first event, and 1 from each of the last 2 events.

I'm a fairly new player, the first branch off from Aqua Mania was the first event I ever completed. I think the goal is to obtain premium and deluxe lures, then use those lures properly; you want to click the button when the moving ring is on top of the skinny grey ring. You want to get Marlins or Octopus with deluxe lures - practice clicking technique on low level lures. The more chests you get, the more pearl chances you get.

If I had been aiming for the grey ring from the beginning I would probably have 12 by now, started that maybe a week (ish) into the event.

My two baby farms only have the first crate to open each day, one of them has accumulated 4 Pearls, the other has just one.
This farm has the required twelve Pearls ... and no more. I am wondering if anyone has had more than twelve?
Perhaps it is rigged to give twelve but in a random way - I am hoping so for all those who are still needing Pearls.

Edit: Just blew my own theory and got a thirteenth Pearl lol!
