Up on my usual weird schedule, so thought I'd take a quick run at the numbers for this one. Feel free to correct me, as I'm still sleepy and I'm not known for getting math correct on the first try. :p

We will be playing this one on the main field and green meadow only. Crop is leather straps. Drops, in the form of eyelets, will come from crops and trees only, and we need a pile of them so make sure to put out your longest crops today. Personal experience says crops are better than trees for drops.

By my figures, just for basic outright donation steps, we will need:

    crops: 11,443
    eyelets: 441

Add to those numbers that we will need 32 faux leather belts and 22 designer bags. Each belt takes 100 straps and 30 eyelets, each bag needs 300 straps and 10 eyelets. So, 3200 + 6600 extra crops and 960 + 220 extra eyelets, for a grand total of:

    crops: 21,243
    eyelets: 1621 :wuerg:

As I said, I'm still half asleep, so don't hesitate to correct my numbers. Prizes on this one are okay, and there are 2 cloud rows. The XXL tool tree's a nice touch, I always like rare prizes like this one. So, there you have it, a quick rundown! This event is rated medium-hard, and I'm thinking it will probably fall towards the hard side. Good luck everyone, may the drops be with you! :D

(Does anyone else find it funny that the cow is wearing a leather coat? o_O xD )

Your figures are right. I did them when the FAQ went up then got sidetracked by work.

Medium - Hard level with a medium chance of an eyelet drop from each breeding also available.

Kitty Model ( includes faux leather belt requirement)
    5324 leather straps
    420 eyelets

Sheep Model (includes designer bag requirement)
    5100 leather straps
    428 eyelets

Cow Model (includes faux leather belt requirement)
    5278 leather straps
    390 eyelets

Bunny Model (includes faux leather belt and Designer bag requirements)
    5541 leather straps
    383 eyelets

This looks like a shocking event to do for those with lower level farms. I didn't get anywhere close with the Water Ski event and this one looks harder at first glace. I'll go and compare the two shortly. With 3 howies moving and trophies at level 29/30, I've only been getting 25-33 drops per field harvest. So I think I will be happy with just getting the first cloud row and focus on the XXL tool tree and the Lobster red pool (*edit, can't do that unfortunately). At least we get an 6th day on this one. Good luck everyone.

Thanks Spots for starting this one, my figures were all over the place so I'm glad you got the CT verification! :music:
I'm in for as far as I can go - seems hard but achievable ... maybe with a little help from the Wheel Fairy! :p
    Good luck all! ;)

So I was thinking of skipping this one and then... if I am reading it correctly... we can do only one step at a time for each of the animals but we get to chose which steps we want to donate to. Meaning pick your prizes!! I'm in. If I have that right.

I am also not doing this one. Another note, you can ONLY use the Main Mill which I like to keep going for Power Feed!

Thats the way it looks to me, too now, which means you can't just focus on one model at a time. So to get the Tool Tree you need to complete 29/32 steps.

I would like to do this event on this farm and sewinglady's, but since sewinglady's farm still cannot make purchases, I'm still more than a little peeved (and NOT at BP - the support staff at BP has been very nice and helpful - it's BFG that's the issue).

Not much reason to keep farming at all...maybe it's time to give this game up.

    Edited to add:

I figured it out. I don't know why I didn't think of this before now...after a week of dealing with this and being upset over it (I know it's a game, but honestly, after all this time, it feels like more than that).

I am going to reverse my farms. Sewinglady's farm is going to become PrairieMaiden23's baby farm. It will take time...and there will be some assets that cannot be transferred, but I can move forward on PM23's farm, whereas, SL's farm is now unable to move forward, so what things can be sold or gifted will be and what can't can just stay where it is. Eventually, without the harvester function, I won't be able to harvest much on SL's farm, so it will be the baby farm. Turns out Farmer_Broke's baby farm idea might be the thing that keeps me playing this game!

There are some stables available with the Kitty "model" so I will try for those. Otherwise, giving this one a miss as well. If I don't get them, I won't be upset. I haven't finished any event except some breeding events and the event that just ended in over a year. Just not worth the effort.

Uh oh another event from the Game Team. Nowadays my initial event strategy is to determine if an event is worth starting at all..

I tried really hard to find something good in this one but once again all I see are near absurd high requirements with minor rewards compared to the effort and time casual players need to invest. I admit I could spend real cash to achieve the event goals but to me such doesn't add towards joyful gameplay.

Gah, I sense another six days of farming to my liking ahead :)

Thanks for the confirmation, ct, sometimes this old brain of mine can't quite wrap itself around numbers properly :p, so it's nice to know I'm not completely dingy.

Well that stinks. I too like to keep my mill spinning with PF, unless I'm down to the last few grains of a particular feed (or out), in which case I will switch for a day or two to catch up. That's one thing they normally do right is let us mill in either mill. Of course, I think they recognize there'd be a revolt if they consistently made us use the main mill for events.

sewinglady, I'm glad you have come up with a way to excise some of your frustration and keep your game going. We'd hate to lose you :inlove:. I think we all go thru dry stretches here where the game just isn't as much of a draw on us as it once was, and where we've felt irritation with some part of the game itself. When I left several years ago, I found it wasn't the game I missed, it was the community I'd found here, and that's what drew me back. :)

Since I just can't seem to not do events, I will give this one a go. However, just because I can't stop myself from participating, doesn't mean I will get all uptight if I can't finish ;) . I will figure what interests me the most, win what I can, and not worry about it. Happy farming everyone!

Thanks for doing the math, spotsbox and ctindaldavies. :)

Nah, Water Skiing Spectacle was an extreme event and was way harder. This one is just a regular hard event which can probably be completed even by a low-level farm - you just have to know what you're doing because there isn't much room for error if you're not willing to use up your resources. ;)

I will be doing this event, I am on of those who does nearly all events Because I appreciate the rewards it offers this event you can get upto 70 Power Feeds during this Evebt, I don't bother Milling for Power Feed as you can only generate roughly 3 Power Feeds Per 24 Hours plus it drains your farm crops too as any non Breeding Event helps stock up Power Feeds for Breeding Evebt

I use my Mills to Make Feeds to Sell to make CC or producing critters to take advantage of Stable Buffs or Neon Butterfly Pet

Also Tbere are events that gives Season Reward Points,I rather earn these Season Points than filling farm house orders which is rather expensive to fulfil plus it does drain your farm stock and resources to restock your farms some of reward gives you Power Feeds too

My Motto is Give an Event a go try your upmost best, We all here to help each other that why I love this community :inlove::inlove:

My life is not good at the moment difficult to socialising, Keep Farming gives me something to do until my life gets Better as I am lonely alot as I am not in relationship at the moment perhaps soon ;)

Thanks Spotsbox for this Tread, miss you as neighbours lol

Dumbummy keep your Chin Up I use to have 2nd Farm Never got it Back Long Story we all here for each other ;)

Quiet Often Events Help you make CC , For those of you didn't Know I am Broke Mentor Hey Broke where are you to tease us lol

Will do the event as far as practical; but won't stress if I have to pass something up.

Like Mooboy, I do like the PF (rarely mill it for the same reasons) and the Season Rewards points without donations; which often nets you a nice stable, tree or consumable item.

Glad you found a workaround on your problem Dumbunny. Sorry you have to switch up things, but persevere! Please ask if you need something to help speed things up next G & T.:)

Best of luck to all participating and Happy Farming to those deciding to rest and restock!

ooooooo the game is not a happy camper. Nothing but running sheep and spinning daffodils for the 6 mins when it launched, even with 2 refreshes. Now the harvester won't function. it's now 10 mins into the event and I've not even managed to harvest my carnations. Server overload xDxD-.-
