Another possible crop to grow instantly is Iris. With the above mentioned CR and other boosters + SG Love for Iris they grow instantly in comfort fields. Add to that the Dropper Wood hammer refinement for Iris and you'll have a 1000 times higher chance of receiving a Wooden mallet, which usually yield 16-18 mallets/field :D

Thanks Mooboy. I'm moving those howies around as added help. My living legend rune is 29/30 and am working on that last leg very slowly. I'm throwing everything at Crystal falls at the moment. I assume the main problem is level related. I don't have the howie rune open on the tree yet so I am happy to drag them around for drop help. Has to be level related. LL rune is at 29, 3 howies, what else is there except level?

    Eventually
Can you please clarify this one? I haven't seen anything that works on event crops. Or is this aimed at throwing them against flowers to get some roses done more quickly for drops?
I should have probably sat this one out. My brain is barely coping with walking and speaking at the moment, let alone dealing with any strategy.

I will have to look at Iris. They wont be instant, but close is good. In all honesty I struggle with refinements. Pop them in, and I forget to go back. When I popped in the greenhouse this morning to work on the roses, there was raspberries already there. Must have been there for weeks.

Have I said how much all of you here are absolute legends? Well you are. You must get tired of repeating stuff over and over again. ;)

ctindaldavies - I think MooBoy was referring to overnight crops. The crafting buffs can reduce grow time on those, but you are correct, there are no buffs that reduce time on event crops.

I really miss the blender at the Baha Spa - those reductions were significant and when coupled with the other buffs, could really shorten crop times. Oh well...

This morning, I am unable to log into BFG at all so sewinglady's farm is completely out of the game at the moment. If they don't fix the issue until Monday or later, that farm will be unable to complete the event. Heavy sigh.

Gee dumbunny, really have to find a way to get sewing lady off BFG. Does any of the tickets you lodge with them have your ID number on them?

Thank you rose refinements! I get it now.
For those of you with no CRs to help and don't really understand it like me, I got them down to 8 mins!
    White Innocence
    Fruit Cake
Refinements: Early Bloomer, Water love, Duo Fertilizer love, SG love (this was the last one to get, they weren't giving that up easily). Obviously you need to add water and manure.
Could have added Source of life and essence of life buffs for further 6% and 4% time on flowers, but I only have 1 of each and they are damn expensive.
    2 fields 2x2s, 2 harvests each, 16 mins, 176 file drops.

Thanks hatzeva. I've seen that one before. Still 53 levels to go for that one, so it will be a while, thank god I used to get bored and grow nothing but roses once upon a time and had nearly 400K. Those refinements chew up a lot of stock to get them with all the failed tries.
3 more blue printia harvests and I should be done plant wise, so can then concentrate on drops.

That's the way "instant" roses work. Well done ct on getting the refinements and achieving a way to lessen the stress on drop shortages. Pity it requires SG.

Today my farm hopefully will make it to 35 games played. Mah, still pretty much on track thanks to 100% harvest bonus on friday.

Have a prefect day farmers, keep smiling!

I don't think Source of Life and Essence of Life stack in the same way, so you'd only be saving less than a minute on the time anyhow.
Is that 8 minutes on normal or comfort fields? The great thing about instant crops is they work on comfort fields too.

8 mins on normal fields :) As habala said above, pity it needs SG though.

Drat it. I already have instant roses, carnations, chrysanthmums and crocus, but I'd missed that iris was also a potential instant crop, and with that wood hammer refinement too. I've started refining iris too.

I'd also missed somehow that crocus is an instant crop without the Chestnut cloud row. That's going to be very useful, it means I don't have to wait right up until the end of an event to get all the extra drops.

The techs at BigPoint tried to remove SL's farm from BFG. Proved impossible. Unfortunately. I have to give BP's tech department and the support person a lot of kudos though for being super courteous, helpful and at least trying to help me out.

So SL's farm is stuck on BFG...and the only good news there is that BP was able to contact BFG and they are not dropping Farmerama. And they did eventually fix whatever was making me unable to make purchases. These recent glitches the last couple days seem internet wide and very random. My website was not accessible this morning...so my webhost was affected as was BP and BFG. So who knows who or what was behind that...at least all seems okay for now.

To be fair, if BFG did anything untoward, BG would drop them from their licence and updates, so they have to play ball. And I would like to think that in the event they did decide to drop Farmerama they would give everyone full access in order to recover their farms on the main site.

Well I finished the crop requirements last night, so now its just trying to get the remaining 970 files, and thats after I pushed out over 700 with 8min roses yesterday (thats a lot of SG).

My event crops enough but another 1000 files needed. In 2 days I will get 500-600 files and my journey ends there.
I don't want to use my precious SG :) for not worthy reward

Minigames are getting longer and longer, better play them as soon as possible, otherwise you may run out of time if you try to play them all in last minute. My strategy is to get every reward as soon as it is available.

Yesterday I run out of files and previous day both files and Blue printea. Last night I had both areas longer crop, previous night I had one area Blues and and another longer crop. I will plant night crop earlier today (longer crop than last night :)) to get files. It is always balancing to get all pieces in right time. I would get a lot of files growing Hydrangeas, but would I have enough time to grow all event crops.

Pardon my ignorance but these two are 4 and 8 hour buffs - do I take them before planting? Then do they work right up till the end of growth regardless of the time of the crop? Or do I need to eat enough to cover the growing time?

  16. -Päärynä11

    -Päärynä11 Forum Overlooker

You must take them BEFORE you plant. They must be effective in seeding moment, you do not need to cover whole growing time. Elixir of life lasts 6 hours (4%) and Source of life 8 hours (6%).

Hi Illy1996 Sorry I didn't clarify enough about using two recipes to reduce crop times by 6% and 4% Both recipes has to be activated into two silver Slots, before planting the refined crops such as Iris or Roses or crocus etc All the Best Instant or near Instant Crops For those who not got the chestnut Cloud Row or Birthday Cloud Row that Boost your Super Grow by further 5%

From my findings Flower Crops has the best reduced time Combination of Refinements, Plus Two Silver Slot Recipes Elixir of Life(4%), Source of Life(6%) Plus.....Cloud Row Buff Too that gives 10% reduced time on all Flowers Crops for 24 Hours This Cloud Row is Called Party Ticket Cloud Row 1, Plus using this co:):)mbo with water, manure with or without using Super Grow save your Supergrow for Instant Nuking I I have been hoarding Super Grow cannot run out of them

Thank you -Päärynä11 and Mooboy for your replies. :)

I wasn't very clear in my question either. I wasn't thinking of refined planting, I was going to plant Hydrangea (or similar timed crop) overnight and wanted to reduce the growing time so I can plant the event crop first thing tomorrow ... and I was wondering if I can use these two buffs even though they do not last the length of the growing time. :music:
-Päärynä11, I think you said I only need to eat these BEFORE planting and they will last for a longer crop? :p

Buffs that reduce time have to be activated before planting or starting stables/workshops. They do not have to last the entire time as their function is just to reduce the time of the crop/stable/workshop.

Buffs that increase revenue/output have to be activated prior to harvesting.

    Hope that helps :)

Thank you Pups! I don't use many buffs, only the obvious ones, so I didn't really know how they worked! Great! :D

I am in line to finish IF I don't mess up! No room for errors! :wuerg:
