I'm disappointed they have made the event hard. As if these events weren't difficult enough.

I want ALL of it, whether I get it or not. But especially the Quokka. It will sit for a while until I can get the Plumeria tree (we call it a frangipani).

Cracks me up, the only time I will ever have manure to sell is during these event, when nobody needs to buy it

Thanks Nala for your work on starting this thread! I am all in as I think the prizes are worth the effort! I think they list it as "Hard"
because of the number of barn animals you might have to turn in and the 256 breedings you need to do just to get the badges!
I hope they put up a Baby Boom tomorrow to go along with the start of the event! Good luck and I hope we all reach our goals!

Thank you Nala for doing the sums. Always a relief when someone does all the hard work for me!
I'm in as I think it is worthwhile - hey, who am I kidding, it's a breeding event so when was I going to pass that by!

My loveshack has been packed with (half price [PF]) Bees, Butterflies and Elephants for weeks just getting ready to pop out and give me some terrific skips! Flying pig just went overhead!
The PF sale has been announced but not BB ... I'm hoping they all coincide with the start of the event.

You are supposed to leave them be now, but they have had decades of interacting with people and being fed that they come up to you still. Sadly too many of them have been hurt by drunk heartless people so they are trying to recondition them to keep their distance.

I am crossing my fingers we will have at least a short baby boom. Otherwise, um, well y'all know I don't breed without BB.

Farmer_Broke's reminders before the last breeding event led me to set out several dragonfly pens on this and SL's farm. Left them out all this time. Now I'm really glad I did...

The badges requirements are way over the top for the tiny rewards given out along the way. Crab pens have been around quite some time and with 1000s of crab already in inventory I have no need for a pink crab pen. I also see no use for yet another mantis pen or it's upgrade. So.. all I'll do is the mammal side. Figured out 1.11m EV equals the donation of 247 Seal.
FYI, 944k EV for the arthropods equals the donation of 95 dragonfly.

Thank you ctindaldavies, love the picture. I didn't know there were quokkas , had to google them. They are so cute. Your daughter is beautiful, and it is great to see the quokka next to her, gives me a better idea of how they are. So sad that they are harmed by some.

I don't know about anybody else but I'm getting fed up with arthropods every month. A change is as good as a rest.

 

I'm going to use every possible way to get the Quoakka - all my for years saved up SSG, SG and party spins, if that is what it takes. I want that cute creature! Never heard of it before and I just love it! Thanks CT for the photo

 

Waiting for baby boom. I love all upgrades, which give two or more animals at once, not to mention totally new stalls.

Now I have some use for my dragonflyes and seals.

 

I love the arthropods I have been rearing dragonflies for ages, they give 9875 ev
