I know... it seems a little close to the Harvest Festival to have an event where the donations are high Barn Value items you "were" counting on.
Still debating on this event even with a full breeding stable waiting for Baby Boom Day.
PS... Hey I tried to spell out some names we shorten in lieu of our new arrivals... Let us be inclusive of the Finns and Turks in hope that they will return to "Our" forum.

 

I think having only 2m EV more or 2m EV less in your inventory for the HF, by now, shouldn't make any significant difference.
The donations in this breeding event can also be done with low EV items only:
Mammals EV equals the donation of 15417 rabbit
Arthropods EV equals the donation of 6294 spider

Is it pretty standard to get a baby boom day during this event? Or do you think they will miss this one in keeping with the "hard" level?

I'll be relying on breeding as I don't have any of the high value pens yet. Actually I got a mantis yesterday from a wonder pen which is getting a couple of PF at the moment I listened to advice and filled the motel when we had half price breeding last month.

 

We always have a Baby Boom during a breeding event. It used to start at 6.00 pm (European time) on Friday evening and finish at midnight on Sunday night. Then we started to get a super short BB on the run up to the weekend as well as the weekend BB. Just lately, the short event started at the same time as the event and even more recently, there has been a longer one from the start of the event.
Here's hoping the BB coincides with all the breeding events starting today and runs with the actual breeding event!

 

I had a good look at the FAQ, For me it is not Practical to do any Athropods Breeding, For Few Reasons way too many Powerfeeds, for it Rewards

To Obtain an Crab Pen, you would have to Donate 30 Athropod Badges plus 345,000 EV Athropod values that in itself is worth at least 5 Million CC Stocks for one measly Crab Pen which can be obtained from The Baha Store for 40,000 CC when you have unlocked Crab Temple Rune

I will try Grow as many critters to Sell use the CC to buy stuff to work on Two New Baha Quests, I quiet make my OWN Alternative Event related Strategy to make CC plus getting rewards from Farm Society Quest, plus Stocking Up on New Stuff and future Profits plus Harvest Festival

 

Looks like no short term BB, only the main one starting Friday , so make sure not to harvest your love shacks early. I'm not doing Harvest Hoedown, so no worries about depleting my barn on that. I don't need a crab pen, I have several, but I really want the pink(especially since I failed to get the pink hamster from the last event). And of course, the new Quokka .

ct, your daughter's lovely! I especially loved how it looks like the Quokka's the one taking a selfie and she was the guest.

 

I'm harvesting now as I need those farm coins for another section of Crystal Falls. If I wait until tomorrow for the very small overlap when BB starts, I will miss out as I have a work meeting tomorrow night.

So... I am beginning to think we are in a hunger games arena and the game master (BP) is sitting there laughing their heads off at us. We are chewing through animal pens. The price of manure is on the way to bottoming out. Nobody is buying it. Why on earth would be want a double manure mini event?

Upon further review... I threw a flag at the right side and decided to wait until noon time tomorrow to start/finish the left and center. That's what 6 month's of stay-in-place orders will do to the mind but it's better than a bout with this virus.

I'm done too, and motel is loaded as much as I can waiting for baby boom. I needed the farm coins for CFalls too badly to wait until baby boom. I also wont be home when it starts. Nor for when museum event starts, so not sure what I am going to do there.

Hi everyone, such a cool event. I read in the FAQ that the crab can be placed in the tropical farm from lvl 1 but I have one Crab stable and I cannot place it, it shows a bar on it. Any suggestions?

I have completed the event! I had plenty of everything and I wanted the "Orange Mantis" up grade on the right side so I did the whole event! Good luck everyone and I hope you all reach your goals!
