Strategy: The Great Chase V

Thanks to illy1996 for starting the thread, 12ss12 for doing the math, and yusufça/SahraB for digging through the archives for the solution pics.

The kitchen and dinner scenes were taken from The Great Winter Chase event in Dec 2019, where familiar scenes were given a festive makeover. Not sure how useful they are for the current event since some of the objects are different...

Something's up with my computer this morning, so I'm posting from this farm... so far, so good. A couple +1's from the wheel for dumbunny so that farm is using all the green goo it has to get ahead a bit while it can.

Took a few tries (baby farms' 1 freebie are good for those) to get the hang of it again and THANK YOU ZeroDegrees for posting the pictures with the items! You are a lifesaver!

I'm having a few hidden object glitches at the moment, sort of coincides with Europe waking up. Maybe its just my end. Perhaps its just my end. I can click click click on an object or 2 and it just doesn't register. Been getting all 60 objects with time to spare but the last couple of games I run out of time. Going to go do something else for a bit I think.

 

You amaze me!! I'm lucky to get 30 items before time runs out. I have to stick to the compare and find 10 differences to get my most points.

 

I was playing a hidden object game for a couple of years, and this one has the advantage that they dont move spots and you can see them. So its just a memory game. All the pre-marked ones have helped immensely. Plus I can use the touch screen on my laptop as fingers are quicker that the silly touchpad/mouse.

 

Like ctindaldavies, because these are the same scenes over and over, usually after about 2 tries, I've got the 60 per scene in well under 90 seconds. Part of it is reading the 'clues' and figuring out what's close to each other so you aren't mousing all over the scene all the time - click them in clusters if you can.

And this morning it's all good - I have know idea why, but yesterday, I couldn't log in here - PM23's farm could, this one couldn't. I think it was an odd glitch in the cookies on Google Chrome...and it's all because I started another baby farm (you all can groan now). This time Lady Luck was with me and I got a farm on market #9 FIRST TRY! Yes, I almost fainted. This latest baby farm is to grow extra crops...and that's it (yes, I know, I'm terrible at sticking with the plan).

Anyway, I'm off to harvest and play the pokin' atcha' over and over and over.

 

Played 70 games, I have CR up and running, now I will play as long as I get drops to go with crops! Good luck everyone!

 

Totally totally peeved to the max! Got all 60 items, game froze and would not end. Would not clear, would not do anything. Just sat there. Had no option but to refresh the game after leaving it to sit for 60 seconds. Back in and instead of it starting on the next level, I got bumped back into the level I had just finished, got penalized 20 seconds as per the FAQ, totally flustered and things wouldn't click again. NOT HAPPY!!

 

noooooooo! That's awful! I've had things like that happen in other event mini-games (most notably, issues with the yahtzee one).

I am realizing that there isn't enough time left for me to get all the way through the right side. SL's farm is the farthest along. It's at level 89 on the right side - and it takes TWO mini-games to get enough points to get to level 90 - and it gets worse from that point forward. So as far as I'm concerned the end is unobtainable...so going as far as I can go and gonna be happy I got the cloud row and pfffft.

 

Well its just happened again. So totally annoyed. Cache has been fully wiped and pfft. Played 108 games so far and on level 99 on the right side. Just worked it out I would still have to play 100 games to finish the right side. Just as well they are prize that would be nice to have but I dont need.

 

Trying to get a harvest bonus from the farmwheel. I didn't check the quantity of how many free spins are in a crate and mixed it up with a different crate amount. I opened too many crates and have lost 108 spins as we can only hold 99

 

The new greenhouse scene is a royal mess. You can't click the open window until after you've removed the beekeeper hat.

 

Click on the right side of beekeepers hat, the small window panes.

 

CT sorry for the clitches you are having I have them too but my wifi is shared here, I been playing spot the difference slowly getting faster now they added the greenhouse getting to memorise these too

The harvest bonus on the wheel is getting rarer in my views I had better luck with crate o buffs

You not the only one whom lost farm wheels spins any crate that gives farm wheel spins gives you current spins remaining is there as caution but makes sense to use up all spins before opening crates I wouldn't open more 20 at a time

if you using comfort field +1 is less effective which I won trying to win 200% harvester which far more effective with comfort fields , Winning buffs for workshops or trees or stalls not help on events crops i much prefer the old system i hope.thry do something abit it

 

Oh no pups. It horrible when we get carried away. Actually I haven't looked at my crates from the rewards, because my normal crates are just normal crates, so I dont open them often. I had better go look.

Thanks Mooboy. In hindsight I would say it could have been a connection issue, but it doesn't quite add up with the result. Never mind.

And thanks Dumbunny! I stopped playing last night as I was due to play the greenhouse. I checked the other forums and couldn't see any feedback, so turned everything else off. Have to wait another 20 mins before I can have a coffee so when brain clears I get to see the fun.

Okay, -Päärynä11 is right - you have to either click to the right of the beekeeper hat or click the frame to get the open window. And the flower sticker is a bit touchy as to where you click it, too. Other than that, the greenhouse isn't too bad. Took me a while to find the puddle of water (it's just to the right of the wheelbarrow) and "the sun"...it's that very pale yellow orb in the high window just to the right of the cutest queen bee I've ever seen.

 

I am glad, that I can play most of the minigames in my own language, but new greenhouse is a blend of languages. I must first understand, what I am looking for . I had to google, what is pitcher plant. Google translator do not help, unless you open it and read definitions of it. When I translate from my language to English, translator says "jug plant".

There is two meat eating plants next to each other in greenhouse.

 

Grrrrr, just got first time that minigame with half in English and need to say, no matter how many years been using English, some words never heard And new pic, really funny, managed to get twice 29 points from it
