strange ring around shark tooth factory

anyone know why when you highlight the shark tooth factory, there are several rings radiating out from it? does it have an influence on the surrounding plots whether they be stables, workshops or crop fields?
cant find anything on any forums. maybe its just graphics for dramatic effect....but...if there is a secret hidden function/feature to it, does anyone know?????

 

As far as I know it is nothing more then just irritating "fancy" glow. Absolutely useless. Probably supposed to represent waves around the shark. In fact that double ring is there all the time but hidden behind other objects (you will see it if you clear space around it). It is just brought forward when pointer is on it or when you move it. It would make sense in spacious environment, not where everything is packed side by side with no space around. I asked for that to be removed in one of my earlier posts if I remember it well as it was among the first negative impressions I had from Unity. It is similar useless attempt to be "fancy" as the sunshine in top right corner of the main page.

It is a display issue only. Since the changeover, many graphics/cloudrows have strange glows or show as pink squares. These have been passed onto the Game Team and hopefully they will be fixed soon.
