You will get these drops when harvesting your Main Field and Green Meadow from crops and trees only!

Mill product: Bubble Gum
Ingredients: 405 x Honey Pitcher Plants + 16 x Bubble Gum Wrappers + 100 Peppermint
This product will be used for feeding the Spawning Borstys!

Each Borsty that receives a Bubble Gum from you will give you 1 x Star Coin plus 1 x Borsty Coin (random colour).

I concur with your math - we're going to need to feed 52 Borsty Boars...ugh. Growing peppermint today for making gum tomorrow.

this event! So I will give this one a try! I hope we get the drops we need BUT at least we have 2 lands to do so!Good luck everyone and I hope we all reach our goals!

 

I've got the peppermint already so I will also give this one a try. I've got both fields stuffed with trees and animals at the moment with no plans to clear them until I start the event. Here's hoping for a much better drop rate on this one.

 

I don't have enough peppermint or the desire for the CR so will give this one a pass.

 

Had it not been for a photo finish for the last event and fretting over drops beyond reasonable, I might be in a better frame of mind to start a new event. I'm not in favor of the random chances of the colored coins needed to gain the givers for the CR. We may have to either consider swapping colored coins with a poor ratio for switching or continue feeding the characters to get enough of the right color of coins. I'm not feeling enthusiastic over this one so will plan on just farming to work on personal farming goals.

I'm like PnP, with a bad taste in my mouth from the last event, not sure this has any appeal. Besides, either way of either giving more food or improving ratio seems meh. Not certain, but probably not.

I too was "weighing" up whether to bother with this one but decided that I will grow the crop, collect the drops and see how far I get. I haven't got much SG and SSG left so will be relying on the wheel being generous (not very confident as I had a lot of luck last time - and still didn't finish!) I will only up the ante if I am within spitting distance of finishing or seeing another prize I want.

I will probably just putter around with this one. If I complete it, great, if not, no sweat. I think the random chances for colored coins and needing a certain amount of each color in order to get the cloud row up and running makes me think that for some of us, we will have to play a lot of extra games...

 

I am undecided and will probably just see how far I get.

Btw - Congratulations to the BF expats on now being able to make purchases again!

 

I have decide to do this event as there are possible dormouse stables and tule trees available. Also the three EP givers for the cloud row will yield coloured event coins (I have a gold bath out and it will give me a blue coin in ten hours) and will do so throughout the event. I got six and traded two orange ones to get eight. (Yes I donated to get the 1:1 swap).

Will give it a try, but won't stress to complete. The last event was pure misery for me with event drops being poor and game performance even worse. Hope things will improve soon.

 

How did you get 1:1 David? I thought the swap was give three to get one back from Borsty.

EDIT: The ten hours can be shortened with cloud rows etc, that shorten EP/TEP givers....

 

Thanks David ! I followed your footsteps. Trades 6 orange for 6 blue ones and got Gold Bath. Blue coins were rare for me. So decided to go for blue coins first.

 

I had such bad feelings lingering from the cave excavation event that I was prepared to be disappointed in this one as well. So far so good though. I did a donation to lower the exchange rate and got the pink coin giver. I had a fairly even distribution of coins from the first 12 candies so I chose to go for the one with the prizes I want first. I can also exchange those pink coins for one of the other colors as well.

All in all this one is going pretty smoothly so far without any stress. I'm thinking to get all the givers first, even if I never get the CR they are pretty good givers to keep.

 

I'm just changing fields each time I feed Borsty and am getting an even ratio of coins. Still not enough yet to get one of the givers though (~edit~ peppermint)

 

Got Privy Poker too. One more EP giver to go.

 

As of this morning, I've got all 3 givers. I'm looking forward to using my next coins for some goodies.
